Do you think leadership issues are affecting some of the players performances. According to my count, Wolves have had three different captains this season.Two league losses against two promoted teams so far, not going to beat the thirteen points Wolves achieved last season against the promoted teams.The letter L in the form guide should read Laughing stock of the premier league. I would however like an early Christmas present. A Wolves league win.

I think the difference is Meza that their owner is ruthlessly ambitious and could see no improvement or at least any green shoots of one. Remember when Fosun had ambition and dispensed with Walter Zenga after a few games.

Now our owners have zero ambition beyond Premier League survival and are happy with anyone that can achieve no worse than 17th.

Bruno Lage was never backed.

Lopetegui told the world that he was being hindered in the transfer market.

Gary O'Neil kept said he didn't get the players he needed to take the club forward.

What makes me angrier at VP is that he has come out and publicly said that Fosun have fully backed him in the transfer market where as the previous 3 all showed their frustrations whilst in post. For this fact alone, I think VP has to go as he claims that he has 100% autonomy of incoming players therefore it is entirely at his door that the buck stops.

It's Shi and Fosun that need to go as they are the authors of our situation not some Coach who is just glad to be here so will tow the party line.

They set the transfer policies and budgets, he has to work within the consequences of those parameters. It didn't work for his predecessors and it won't work for him or the next Coach if he does get the chop.

The difference is LongmyndWolf is that Lage, Lopetegui and GON all said that they were not backed but VP says the exact opposite. So if he has been backed, the blame is on him too for identifying players that ain't good enough to play in a system that he's implemented. At least undet GON we were scoring. Under VP we don't look capable and our defence is a catastrophe.

All of which is true Wandering but as I said he doesn't set the budgets and potential recruits will be initially identified by the recruitment department and he will ok the ones he wants from those who want to come and the Club can afford.

He can't just go out and buy up the best available or necessarily his first choice.

Hang on Wandering make ya mind up mate, are they mediocre players or are they good enough to get mid table (as you said earlier) cause ya can't have it both ways?! And if they are good enough for a mid table finish then by what metric are you basing that on exactly? Cause so far outside of Krejci I've yet to see a single 90 minute performance that suggests they are up to the task at hand. Now that isn't to say they won't be one day, but there in lies the problem. We've bought half a team of players and only one of them looks Prem ready! You just don't get away with that at this level and the proof of this is sadly being seen in the points pudding! As for them being VPs players, well he might have agreed to them but how many of them were his first choice?! From what I can see ONLY Fer Lopez and Krejci were actually first choice, the rest were 2nd, 3rd and 4th on the list and again there in lies the problem! Like Judah said we let 15 years worth of Prem experience leave and replaced them with a group of players who had not a single min of Prem experience between them, frankly that is criminal!
We keep doing the same thing over and over again, selling the manager short and then blaming the manager! Sooner or later we have to stop questioning the monkey and start asking what excalty is the organ grinder doing?! VP hasn't become a bad manager over night, neither did GON or Lage. All three of them were given pigs ear (average signings made FAR to late, with no Prem experience) and then blamed for the quality of the shody purse they have created! VP towed the company line (I'm happy with the business) because he wanted a new contract and it worked. But who REALLY loses in that? Cause if we sack him tomoz he makes a fortune and we are still up the creak without a paddle! Run into the ground by an ownership group that doesn't care and a chairman that just wants to play FIFA! I'm sick of it and I'm sick of people just making out like this is a manager/tactical problem. It's far bigger than that and it's also precisely why we are bottom of the league and doomed to relegation! 😭

Bullysboy. To me, they are players that are good enough to stay in the league quite easily given the correct tactics. But under VPs management, they look mediocre and useless.

The metric I use is quite simple. Yesterday we had 8 full International players starting the game. These players represent the likes of Portugal, Brazil and Uruguay who are considered as some of the favourites for the next World Cup.

Its the old Real Madrid Galacticios issue when you have the individual players but the coach can't get them to gel and work together.

So we have decent players, but not a manager who can make it work.

LongmyndWolf, Simon Jordan said earlier this week when talking about potential changes to PSR rules that other than Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal, no club can just go out and buy who they want. The club need to cut their clothes accordingly and if they know they've only got a certain standard of player to work with, then they must get a manager who can achieve something with what's available. He pointed out that that's what Glasner and Iraola do. Spend little money at first but are great coaches and highly sought after. VP is not this type of person. VP is a short term guy. Bring him in for an immediate effect and then move on. Why? Because he hasn't got the nous to plan for the long term, hence his nomadic managerial career.

Maybe that is where they are all going wrong Oxley, VP and players having a few before the game. I don’t see the manager turning this round, how often when it gets this bad to you see a team recover? Incredibly unlikely, unfortunately can’t see anything changing, they will stumble along, possibly draw v Burnley, as always too slow to act.

Wolves play and the ups and downs of the club over the years you think they would of learnt something.
Personally I think fosun need to sell now
Have a complete clear out. The Last few manager's have been fooled into promises
By owners.
These players come out on the pitch and are terrified .
They have no premiership skills

Was left with a impossible task .
Has all real wolves supporters we can only hope& carry on giving them support
They need it.

This is the worst team I've ever seen. No passion, no cohesion, no intent, no idea. All being led by VP who has now spent close to £200m and made us a worse team than last year.

Can someone explain to me why we persist JSL who quite clearly is no where near fit and bring tolu on for the last 12 minutes. Poor goalkeeping error and a sad own goal cost us a point, which we probably deserved after the second half. Their seems mo enthusiasm throughout the side, and it's the age old problem of backwards and side to side. Feel VP must go now, but goodness knows who we would replace him with

Just got back in saw the score and then came on here to read peoples opinions of the game and frankly wished I hadn't. There's got to be radical change at this club starting with Shi, Teti and sorry to say VP as this lot are taking us down. Is it the players they've bought, is it the team selection, is it the tactics or is it 5 years of progressive decline that the owners have orchestrated, probably all of the above?

It is an absolute disgrace what they have been doing and this has been both blindingly obvious for years and therefore inevitable. How many now genuinely believe without major change we will stay up beyond this season because this is now the sh*t show that some of us have been predicting for some time.

Fosun need to act NOW as Xmas is way too late but will they? Personally, I now believe Shi has to go, he's clueless as evidenced by his decision making, both he and the equally clueless Fosun are killing this club, why? You cannot run an elite league football club in this way with the owners contributing nothing so spare us the meaningless, meandering interviews Jeff, just do one and take Fosun with you.

Ain't going to be nice next home game if this is the performance level next weeks training is going to produce. Where are the goals going to come from? Tactically inept so its either the manager or players cannot perform at this level. This is absolutely relegation form; no imagination, few shots, passing across the park and backwards plus mistakes. Starting to lose some enthusiasm and belief that this set up and players can turn things around.

I don’t think Vitor should go, but it is so clear that he’s been sold down the river, and we have simply not invested in players that can come and make a difference straight away. It is so incredibly frustrating to see some of our better place that we do have not have quality around them. Jeff is backed himself into a corner too, so I don’t know what he will do to try and save face, but we simply cannot keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect to have a different outcome. We should not be losing to promoted teams. I am so incredibly disappointed in the ownership as I see wolves crumble before my eyes. I’m usually one of the more positive people on this site and I hope that we can pick up points in the next game and kick on from there but it’s going to be a total grind this season.

I don't believe that for one minute. He's come our and said that every player that been brought into the club since he's been here has been hand picked and approved by him. He's out of his depth. We sacked GON under similar circumstances but at least he had the excuse of playing all of the big clubs in the first 10 games where as VP has made Leeds and Sunderland look like seasoned campaigners.

The team looks like an clueless bunch of individuals picked off the sheet for their individual talents, then told not to use them and try to find someone in the same coloured shirt, because that seems to be the only unifying aspect of the teams VP put out.
He dosnt know his 1st choice team and dosnt seem to see the wrongs he makes. He's cost us points with inexplicable subbing. Today was no better with hoever replacing Doc.
Arias has far more attacking ability I'm sure, larsen dosnt get the ball and I'm afraid dosnt look that committed of late. I don't see gomez and Andre playing for anything but their transfers.
The young lads lopez and rodrigo are under used.
Kriejci and munetsi give it their all and Doc the old pro.
Johnstone has improved but again shows his shortcomings.
Santi goes quietly about his job.
But where are the committed dedicated attitudes we saw in neves moutihino raul etc?
VP dosnt seem to inspire them, Fosun simply pay them.
VP must be held responsible, its ok having pints after points but he's not able to organise a pee up in a brewery it seems, or even organise who would be sitting where.
