I'm a bit baffled with the team selection, In January we were all crying out for new recruits which we got. But the lineup against Newcastle had only one of the January recruits in the starting lineup. What's happening,has JL realised the new signings are no better. I thought three points from the last three games would be a good return.

Disappointing across the piece.
Had hoped by now the reinforcements would have us playing better football.
One less game to to save ourselves.
We HAVE to get 6 points from the next 2 games. Losses will not just mean points lost, but will give fellow relegation candidates a significant boost.
It is touch and go whether we survive.

Morning Rugeley agree.
The Leeds game hoping it's a good game the home crowd roar us on to victory.
Particularly the noisiest the southbank.
Hoping we get payback from last seasons home game.
Hoping decisions are correct and not controversial.
Also Hoping our players discipline is on high guard agaisnt imo a thuggish try every trick in the book Leeds team.

I think similar with team selection a difference for me is players are in starting who haven't played regularly Neto whang podence.
But whang did score and probably wouldn't have this discussion if we had the right decision with pope/jiminez and gone on to win.
As I remember Alex saying in past posts the premier league is a very fine margins from winning/losing/drawing.
What gives me strength of mind we'll be alright is that we aren't getting thumped every week.
Even though our results have no consistency I remain v.hopeful but fearful as only one kidding themselves if they say they aren't.
Keep the faith as per norm.

Maybe JL wanted to contain and release when possible traore with j8minez and pods to mop up. Lamina's passing was awful at times, granted players wernt moving quite as he expected also. Jiminez as always tackling back and in it wasn't a foul committed to give the free kick they scored from imo. The game plan was ruined but JL attempted to change 2nd half and paid off until the back 3 were exposed and collins as last man played almoron on side. Bring on Leeds forest etc and I would imagine we'll be seeing more of the attacking midfield. Must win games now to distance ourselves.

Its any3 from 20th to 12th.jl gotit wrong with tactics late on.ther was no need to change the formation.and why can't we utilise traore like saintmaximum.we wer scared to death of him!and why do we keep playing out from the back when wer clearly useless atit?

Your right bux these balls rolling around at the back never get us anywhere, in fact they end up putting us under more pressure. We need to get up the field, granted that gives space between keeper and last defender but this backwards sideways across our own 18yrd and even behind half way dosnt prove positive often and contains the likes of traore, if he does get it he's reached the other end before our strikers (?).
