To top it all cunha as signed util 2029 with a release clause.
1.) 01 Feb 2025 23:50:23
Great news, to be honest I have no problem with release clauses as long as they are future proof/sensible. I actually think it can help a clubs negotiating position, as in that's the price take it or leave it. It's how Villa robbed City of £100m for Grealish ?
31 Dec 2024 10:05:15
Only 2 game ban for cunha, £80000 fine, will give him chance to recover from his niggles hamstring. Now we just need to keep him at the club.
1.) 31 Dec 2024 13:30:08
Makes me think more that something was said by that Ipswich staff to Cunha, be interesting to see if so what punishment Ipswich will get.
As rumours are he made a racial comment to Cunha and Alt Nori.
2.) 31 Dec 2024 16:28:33
Rated, I suspect that and your comment is the first that I've read or seen suggesting something along those lines. These kind of incidents don't just blow up out of nothing unless there is history between both parties. I'm unaware of any history, so I'm left thinking a racist or very personal remark is the possible likely reason.
3.) 31 Dec 2024 19:19:13
Let's be honest it takes something to prompt that reaction of cunha, he can't be the only guilty party. If it was a racist remark ipswich should be made an example of.
4.) 01 Jan 2025 14:20:22
Just be patient for the full report to be released, folks.
5.) 03 Jan 2025 07:50:03
According to the reporter in the Sun today Cunha should have had a 6 game ban and he’s used the example of someone attacking an emergency services officer and getting away with it.
Firstly, reporters should highlight which team they support as there’s usually some reason for their bias opinions and secondly, it’s The Sun so….
I too think something was said by the security guard to get that sort of reaction from Cunha. Hope it all comes out in the wash and Ipswich make an apology!

Deal agreed with Vitor according to Sky. welcome to the wolves Vitor.
17 Dec 2024 07:43:50
So, according to 'talking wolves' vitor is to be on a contract until July 2026. So whatever happens at the end of this season he's going to have a crack at a full 25/26 programme in what ever league we are in.
Obviously that'll afford him to build his own team in the summer, maybe influence players in January if he does get announced as our new gaffer tomorrow.
This changes my view for the future football wise, but I've still an underlying worry over fosuns commitment and where that may takes us.
1.) 17 Dec 2024 08:41:21
I live in hope but worry that if we are relegated the squad will be stripped of our quality players and will leave the new manager scrapping it out in the Championship with no experience of what is required in what is probably the most difficult league to learn about the rigours of English football.
2.) 17 Dec 2024 08:43:58
All we can do Abbey is travel optimistically.and hope for better things.
3.) 17 Dec 2024 09:31:50
Well my fingers are tightly crossed Rugeley. Just need some good news and a performance to get us going again mate.
05 Dec 2024 12:58:01
So conflicting reports say GON remains for WH game, others saying we've offered job to Potter but that Potter wants wH job when lopetegui leaves.
GON due to do prematch interview Friday as normal. Everything's still open to the rumour mill.
1.) 05 Dec 2024 15:45:14
Let's hope that West Ham win and Loppie keeps his job.
2.) 05 Dec 2024 15:48:22
Abbey, see my post above.
3.) 05 Dec 2024 16:01:18
Well if we are Potters 2nd choice, tell him to do one. We don't need people who ain't committed to the cause.
4.) 05 Dec 2024 16:51:27
The West Ham boss is not a big fan of Potter. They may look elsewhere.

Who ever said they wernt watching if belkegarde was playing, tune in now!. COYW
1.) 01 Feb 2025 18:01:36
Me ha. Reverse psychology works
2.) 01 Feb 2025 18:13:50
Belleagarde has always been better in middle and coming from further back, strong runner who times his run. Hopefully a few are eating humble pie as he's been called all sorts of names and a few have said he'll never be good enough for Premier league.
3.) 01 Feb 2025 18:16:32
Sarabia, Bellegarde and Guedes are ripping Villa apart.
Just need Guedes to finish those chances lol.
4.) 01 Feb 2025 18:27:14
As long as he's shooting its got to be good, you don't score without trying, cunha should have had one tho. Keep this up if we can and things will feel a whole lot better.
It's always that feeling we'll let up and get punished tho.
5.) 01 Feb 2025 18:34:25
I hope we don't rue those missed chances. Should have been out of sight, but what a good first half performance that was.
6.) 01 Feb 2025 18:55:48
I've just had mine with custard
Wolfflea
7.) 01 Feb 2025 19:35:43
Congratulations to the players and management team, great result today.
8.) 01 Feb 2025 19:43:12
Never any doubt in my mind we'd beat them and my pants are on fire. Phew what a result to lift us up in every way. Got to keep on keeping the faith. Well done lads, now we need to keep that energy and grit.
31 Jan 2025 10:58:29
Despite the farce, being a laughing stock and a very bleak future, I remain and always will be old gold. Fosun have given some of the best football in 60 odd years of following the wolves, but they now seem he'll bent on spitting us out and screwing us into the ground.
They built their name, they had us on the verge of something big, then, inexplicably, most probably their over inflated financial design and ignorance of the game they've collapsed.
Maybe there are constraints from China, who really knows, but its evident they have lost the plot and been hoodwinked us.
If I'm proved wrong I apologise, but I have no confidence that'll be the case.
So I will be supporting my team with hope and no doubt pain for the rest of the season regardless of our fate.
These could be the last "premier" games I get to see.
To beat the vile tomorrow would give us hope, I hope the lads in gold will rise to it.
I hope the crowd support the team and I hope Fosun either come good or at least be honest in their intent. COYW
1.) 31 Jan 2025 11:34:24
Ditto abbey.
I'm distraught about what fosun are doing to our beloved team.
If getting relegated rids our team of them. Then so be it.
I will never stop supporting our team, the supporters on Saturday must, Strongly as possible, show them what we think.
Don't forget. "From the ashes of disaster, grow the roses of success "
2.) 31 Jan 2025 12:11:37
Yet more departures with cundle going and possibly lamina, ok they weren’t playing or near the first team but they were squad players, and no sign of any incomings, weakening the squad yet again, relegation looks inevitable now, what are Fosun upto
3.) 31 Jan 2025 13:32:25
Hi Guys,
When Shi says 'if you want to constantly win trophies' then maybe Wolves is not the team for you' is so arrogant and short sighted it's pretty unbelievable for a CEO. People of a certain age will stay loyal to the club they've supported all their life. It's the younger generation that I fear for turning towards the so called 'big six'
When you hear chants of you only live round the corner against NUFC it will become more and more common against the likes of Citeh, Arsenal, Chelsea etc. Football is massive. It's on screen virtually every night. Merchandise has become a fashion industry virtually on its own. Stadium tours etc etc. Young kids grow up seeing this and want to be part of it. Not all I know, but many are drawn to success and want big superstar players on the backs of their shirts. Wolves could easily get 40-50K fans per week with I would suggest average success. We got into the Europa league and all of a sudden theirs a 10K waiting list for season tickets and every seat sold weeks in advance.
Fosun doesn't seem to have any interest in that scenario so it's in our best interest they just p**S off and sell us to western owners who may want to push this forward.
PS: Fosun need to get a move on if they want this new CB in before the Vile game tomorrow.?????
4.) 31 Jan 2025 13:54:20
With you there Abbey. I have supported Wolves since I was 6. 69 years ago. Once a Wolf, always a Wolf, despite all that gets dropped on this club. Fosun have lost the plot, and I suspect they will asset strip and get out for what they can. The wheel has turned again.but we will still follow the Old Gold.
5.) 31 Jan 2025 14:35:35
Abbey. I quite agree with you it's an absolute shambles. Can't say that I'm much convinced by Vitor as a manager but at the moment I feel sorry for him as I did for GON working for Jeff Shi and his comedy show!
25 Jan 2025 17:11:32
What the heck? We were walking around no urgency, no look to take the valuable points we could have done.
Sarabia, Cunha, too slow and out of touch why? 40m 60m 80m who's going to pay if that's what they'll get? I can only think he knows he's going and didn't want to risk injury.
The subs all too late. RAN not wanting to go forward, agabadus poor passing. There's so much to be down about.
Maybe VPs confidence lies purely in himself and becomes negative in his players, because on that showing there is no belief and thereon we've no hope.
Maybe a big big transformative week in the transfer market to come, because we need it.
1.) 25 Jan 2025 18:53:54
The club are sleep walking to relegation I'm afraid. The appointment of Vitor was the last throw of the dice and it really hasn't come up with two sixes. The disarray is obvious and there is only one direction this club is heading.
06 Jan 2025 18:56:18
Uh ho. Just seen team 5 changes with youngsters on bench. I like the look of Lima and Ricardo, know doyler can do a job but I'm abit worried we won't have the experience and stamina to keep the discipline. Hopefully VP has them drilled.
A bit worried now, but who knows what surprises we might find.?
Keeping the faith. COYW
1.) 06 Jan 2025 19:04:30
Seen line up, and bench.
Does he think tonight's the cup match
Where's semedo, Dawson, Andre
2.) 06 Jan 2025 19:05:16
It's a very brave selection Abbey, like you say especially the bench! Let's hope it pays off, think Doyle is well due a start! I think that Tommy could potentially be a huge player for us and a captain of the future ?
3.) 06 Jan 2025 19:24:20
Wow. Not sure anyone would've predicted that line up. Very brave and positive.
4.) 06 Jan 2025 19:31:28
Andre went to Brazil for birth of his child.
Great to see Doyle starting, combative and can pick a pass. Have also been waiting to see Pedro in action, should be a fun match.
5.) 06 Jan 2025 19:33:53
Delighted that Doyle gets a start. BUT, intrigued with the Defence selected.
6.) 06 Jan 2025 19:41:23
Semado hamstring injury says Keen E&S
7.) 06 Jan 2025 20:31:30
Wish Wang would pull his.! He's awful so far. Most prob become the hero tho.
8.) 06 Jan 2025 20:48:34
Hwang is awful
9.) 06 Jan 2025 20:52:52
Difference is our striker can't finish, there's can so far,
Changes needed, but who,
So many need replacing it's bad
10.) 06 Jan 2025 20:55:12
Get Hwang off! Forbs on. Bueno should be stuck to Wood.
11.) 06 Jan 2025 21:02:11
Come on then lads 3-2 for rated
12.) 06 Jan 2025 21:36:25
No Cunha, no chance!
13.) 06 Jan 2025 22:19:49
Still in the mire
Next three games nil points
O dear,
26 Dec 2024 19:13:13
Looks like we're determined to throw the game away, 84mins and we're not moving it up, knocking it around trying to waste time instead of pushing for 2nd. Please don't lose the lead and 3pnts now. Phew
1.) 26 Dec 2024 19:27:13
Yeeeew haaaaaaa worries over. Happy happy Xmas everybody.
2.) 26 Dec 2024 19:28:54
2-0 well done team .
3.) 26 Dec 2024 19:29:00
Dreaded Hwang coming on. imagine him scoring!?
4.) 26 Dec 2024 19:36:16
You weren't alone Belfast.
5.) 26 Dec 2024 20:24:25
Another 3 points well done lads
6.) 26 Dec 2024 21:10:12
I wasn't too glad to see hwang either, and when he played the ball into an obviously offside larsen instead of shooting I despaired, but fair play, he's back on the score sheet and I hope that gees him up.
The play tonight was tenacious, we were ganging up, getting in their faces and having efforts, even samedo smacking an effort from 25yds.
It's a different attitude, and the confidence is apparent, whatever VP is doing is working. Cunha is an essential and it would hurt so much if he were to be sold. Guedes is finding his feet and both toti and santi becoming to look reliable. Sa also seems to be enjoying himself again. Though Andre and Gomes held things nicely. RAN seemed disciplined in his play. The crowd magnificent and amazon's coverage sensible. Now the nerves have turned to glee its looking like a happy new year albeit with the sales and purchases to come.
7.) 26 Dec 2024 21:31:08
Hwang needed that goal to do his confidence good as he will be Cunhas replacement when he is banned, so fair play to Cunha for giving him the chance.
8.) 26 Dec 2024 21:58:15
I don't think we'll be able to replace cunha on that form wolvo, he was simply brilliant tonight.
9.) 26 Dec 2024 22:27:59
I agree abbeywolf, Cunha is irreplaceable but when and not if he is banned, hwang will be his replacement probably,
04 Feb 2025 10:53:10
I hope that's 4 points before the end of month madman, or we've got problems, lol.
03 Feb 2025 18:51:37
Yep I'm swallowing my words, cunhas signed, and we've got a couple coming in, I honestly couldn't see us doing anything, Fosun remain very quiet tho. Let's hope this gives us the impetus we need.
02 Feb 2025 21:17:55
He didn't want to come to us wandering and reneged on the agreement when spurs came in with permanent deal. I reckon we got out of one their, he'd have been uncommitted.
01 Feb 2025 21:44:42
And rated, danso medical booked for tomorrow according to john percy. There's a golden glow around everything tonight.
01 Feb 2025 07:54:25
Most probably financial Rugeley, Fosun most prob have a contract that won't tie them to big compo deal and VP only wants the prem manager on his CV, we're a stepping stone. Who knows how or why this mess as been allowed to come about. Maybe there is or should be big survival payments, but he won't be getting that if we lose again tonight. Lord knows what's going on. I said before I hope I'm wrong, I hope Fosun surprise us with two or three solid signings come Monday, just can't see it.
06 Feb 2025 11:55:00
Is his brother still with us?
05 Feb 2025 17:41:54
As I've said before I wouldn't be surprised if Fosun jacked in the summer leaving us in pieces, yes, we've brought 3 players in, not first choices by the look of it and certainly not at a fortune. I hope the scouts have identified their talent, and I hope all 3 prove to be successful, but quite what it shows regards fosuns intent I don't know.
There's a lot to consider regards the future, the on field staff of course, the division were in, the state of the mol and its development as mentioned below.
Fosun surely owe it to the fans, and supporters who part with their cash to maintain the club, to explain the intent.
05 Feb 2025 17:32:34
Welcome waggy, I totally agree, they need to get the pace and feel of games over here, and indeed their team mates traits and movements.
Injuries are always going to be a concern in any game, even 5 a sides.
A victory and association with the fans can cement them into the club and help with the atmosphere of an field. Let's get em in if VP sees fit and hit the ground running.
03 Feb 2025 20:45:08
Said the other night bully's if you don't shoot you don't score, guedes was at least shooting and in position to do so, which is something we wernt doing with larsen.
03 Feb 2025 17:04:48
Not happening sadly deep throat
