I have a friend who rents out some nice properties and has had lots of wolves players and management over the last few seasons, he told me fabio has been to look at one this week. Not sure if that means we are keeping him hear this season or weather fabio himself doest know yet and is just covering bases

As Wolves have hired a US bank to sell part of the club to raise funds while avoiding FFP, why don't they sell shares to fans? Most of us would love to own a piece of our club.

I wasn't really excited about signing Che Adams, but on a free it made sense and an extra body in a forward position. I can't believe I have just read that we are going to miss out to Nottingham Forest!
My question is after breaching FFP, they must be in a worse position than we are, but somehow can offer a better package to Adams than we can. I don't understand that.

I think it's more a case of Wolves refusing to pay the the extortionate fee that the agent is asking for.
Both clubs have offered the same wages but Wolves are only willing to pay a small fee to the players agent whereas Forest are willing to pay the agent the £1m he's asking.
The agent has decided to stop the negotiation with Wolves.

Apparently we offered £17mil for Adams previously. So we are now going to lose him for £1mil? (His agent's fee) Doesn't make sense, unless Gary revised his opinion of Adams. Yes, Adams knows where the net is but we need players more acquainted with where the net is. Weren't we sixth in the PL when Jimenez got injured at Arsenal? I think South America might come up with Jimenez, Mark II. We need to aim higher than Adams.

Forest will be doing all they can to hijack any possible players Wolves have their eyes on, which won’t be hard as someone at the club leaks news of any possible moves to anyone who’ll listen. Forest will be happy with seventeenth as long as they’re on top of us.

Deap throat, if the agent fees are 1 mill and we are not willing to effectively pay that for a striker when Jeff said we are looking to bring in two then there realy is little money this season to spend on players, I also read that forrest will have to make 60 mil in player sales before 30th June to stay within the ffp limits.

Wolves paid £13.4m to player agents in the 12 month period to Feb 2024. This money has to be included in the clubs finances towards PSR. Agents should get paid for their services but to pay them more than the club pays the players signing on fee is ridiculous.

Sudu, as far as I can tell are a manufacturer of cycling shirts etc. Looks like American company. As we're going to US pre season it's a possible. Shi vented the 'don't expect or wolves aren't the team for you' in a piece in the E&S I believe.

I have to admit I just read the article and don’t see a problem with it. Of course we aren’t going to win trophies every season, Jeff is right in that we need to be able to create more income to be able to compete at the top end of the league. Just because we get in to Europe one season doesn’t mean our revenue increases so much that we can keep buying expensive players. I think his point is if your a glory hunter go support teams like Man City or the teams with established high revenues who can spend half a billion every season. Personally I’d like our club to be self sufficient so there isn’t any risk of bankruptcy etc. of course we would all like it to be a quick process but I don’t think that’s viable unless there’s unlimited spending.

Wolves and other clubs that use Castore get a higher percentage of sales for their shirts.
Using Castore is the financially savvy thing to do.
I wouldn't go and use Villa as some type of financial model to look up to, they almost went into Administration a couple of seasons ago.

We were with Adidas a couple of seasons back and (like Ford says) changed supplier when we realised what an insanely poor percentage cut we were getting. We prioritised financial stability over branding, like ya say 47 it does indeed reflect the different styles of management!

If sarabia is staying I'm glad. He's a frustrating watch but I sometimes think he expects more from those around him, reading the balls and making the runs etc. If he gets that I think we've got a surprise in store.

Injuries aside, we aren't doing too bad, but my observation is with the lack of Dawson in the side defensively we are terrible, creating all our own problems, I understand playing out from the back is part of the modern game but when the opposition have set up to aggressively challenge for the ball high up the pitch, we need to choose the correct times to for it. I like kilman but he's not a captain for me.

Looks like we definitely had a lucky escape when Michael Beale chose not to come to wolves.
He was doing ok at QPR but got delusions of grandure. didn't last long at Rangers and just been sacked from Sunderland after 12 games

With sasa and fabio gone, we must be close to geting a striker in. I know they hardly played but it was two bodies on the bench, in a small squad.
With players away and gomez missing 3 we need cover if we pick up a couple of injuries we could find it difficult to win games

It alright saying get rid let him go and I agree we should only have players who want to be here. The firs thing is we should never buy these players in the first place for so mutch money first guedes now nunes.the problem being if a big club puts in an offer that us or any other lower ranked club turn down as we think the player is worth more the player stops playing and forced through a move and the bigger club is laughing at us. This is why I think the transfer window should close the start of the season

He was ok in the his last season for us worked best when we played a back 3 alwsys managed to pop up and grab a few goals but I can't see us going back to that as it seems lopetegui prefers a back 4. Might not be bad on a free

I can't see us stopping spain from scoring, so I think it could be a tight one, team line up and early subs will play a huge part, this may be controversial but I would like to see another striker play with Kane or if we play just one drop him completely, I know this won't happen and possible the only change wi be starting shaw from te start

Possible interest in signing Kasper Schmeichel, I think he is better option than Bentley and King. He would be on a free and able to step up if sa was injured or sold. I know a lot of people will so no thanks but free, loads of experience and a good leader I was surprised to see Leicester let him go
