Wolves have registered their interest in re-signing Leander Dendoncker before the transfer window closes, sources have told Football Insider.

No thanks. He’s like the Evil Kenevil (spelling) wind up motorbike we had as kids in the 70s - lots of effort winding up but very disappointingly little movement!

2.) 28 Aug 2024 21:50:25
Andre signing should consign the Dendoncker rumour to the bin,

3.) 28 Aug 2024 22:22:55
Donk can also play centre back so may still be a good option, especially on loan with no fee.

4.) 28 Aug 2024 22:53:18
Dendoncker, no way. supposedly finalising the andre signing. wait for the fall thru again.

5.) 29 Aug 2024 02:19:53
Donk was a great servant love to see him back as a squad player and playing cb.
Don't touch midfield Donk. ?

6.) 29 Aug 2024 09:26:55
Not too sure about Andre
He's done very little since mysterious girl

7.) 29 Aug 2024 09:45:48
I like Dendoncker but signing a midfielder to play cb in a back four would be foolish. We need to start signing and playing players in their best positions, besides which we needed a decent cb BEFORE Kilman left by this point we are desperate for one!

8.) 29 Aug 2024 10:04:56
He can do a job for us.

9.) 29 Aug 2024 10:21:50
Still not forgiven him for the penalty at wembley so no way

10.) 29 Aug 2024 15:07:25
The penalty that wasn't a penalty Buxwolf. The ref lost control that day.

I have a friend who rents out some nice properties and has had lots of wolves players and management over the last few seasons, he told me fabio has been to look at one this week. Not sure if that means we are keeping him hear this season or weather fabio himself doest know yet and is just covering bases

Bookmakers currently give Wolves odds of ~ 3/1 of being relegated

So, the implied chance of avoiding relegation is roughly 70-75%,

we lost lost key players in the summer and i think we are in a worse situation than last year.

Taking into account things like injuries, managerial issues or poor transfer business in January this could push that lower, Survival will likely depend on improved form, key results, and avoiding long losing streaks.
Which i can't see happening

Therefore at the moment its 50/50 with the percentage dropping lower every hlgame with out points

Edwards to be announced tomorrow source.sky sports

2.) 11 Nov 2025 23:16:51
The odds you have quoted are imaginary, CB. Current odds for relegation are 1/7, which in layman's language means that in every 8 seasons from our current position the bookmakers assess that we'll be relegated 7 times. So the implied chance of relegation is 87.5% and that of staying up is 12.5%.

3.) 12 Nov 2025 07:11:06
Yes old wulf I saw some 'official' AI computer crunched analysis on Sunday that basically suggested we were 90% certain to go down.

My own logical analysis suggests 99% certainty.lol. bl**dy computers,

Of course whilst there's a chance there's hope, but we've got to want to do it, play like we want to do it. Give these foreign lads the incentive Mr.Shi (cash) because I don't think the clubs name and standing is enough of an incentive alone.

4.) 12 Nov 2025 11:35:41
If we survive with 2 points from 11 games as it currently stands it will be a first. So I would say once in 33 seasons is 3% so 97% we are down.

11 Nov 2025 00:17:42
There are 81 points to play for is 1 point = 0.81 percent we need to win approximately 40 percent of available points to look at survival this would be 32.4 points plus the 2 we have = 34/35 it doesn't look great

1.) 11 Nov 2025 05:00:57
I can’t see where we get even 1 point at the minute cb, this is by far the worst squad we’ve had since coming up.

It’s going to take at least 40 points to stay up this season, my heard says edwards coming in we can do it but my head says we are gone already, the fact that most of us are now just hoping we get more than derbys dreadful 11 days it all

2.) 11 Nov 2025 07:31:49
The team we got promoted from the championship with would be our current one easily. I can't see either where our next point (s) is/are coming from.

07 Nov 2025 12:29:56
Why is it lots of teams use promising youngsters who are keen to improve and impress, but wolves seem reluctant, we have in all these promising players but never see them. Enzo gonzales, Pedro lema, Nathan frasher to name a few. We also let solid squad players leave or go on loan like Tommy doyle,

It’s like the owners have no respect for Wolves at all.
I was interested to see what the Chinese Core virtues and values are meant to be -

Ren: The virtue of compassion, humanity, and love for others.
Yi: Righteousness, justice, and the moral disposition to do good.
Li: Propriety, respect, and proper ritual conduct. It involves showing proper courtesy and respect in all social interactions.
Zhi: Wisdom and knowledge.
Xin: Integrity, trustworthiness, and honesty.

I’m sorry to say we have experienced none of these. Fosun have dishonoured the Wolves family name and continue to do so. Shame on them.

It just proves you don't have to the best players lf they pull together and fight for each other. Shocking first half, started with 6 defenders but was still 3 down! However if we can turn the last half performance in to 90 minutes we might have a chance of picking up points.

It seems like they are so scared of losing the won't press or go forwards until they are goals down and have no choice but to try and get back in the game. We'll done to the lads, let's see that fight at Fulham and pick up our first win

Tottenham Hotspur's majority

Just seen this on bbc sport, an example of a club doing what needs to be done.

owners have injected £100m of new capital into the club.

Spurs say the investment will "further strengthen the club's financial position and equip the club's leadership team with additional resources to continue the focus on driving long-term sporting success".

1.) 09 Oct 2025 16:50:00
The total debt of the club is just under £1b. I don't know what the football finance side debt is but its something like £200m.

Spurs also have different revenue streams such as the NFL, boxing and concerts that help.

2.) 10 Oct 2025 09:53:54
I raised this point last year. Why aren't we having concerts, and other activities at the ground as revenue streams. The Vile had quite a few last year. Is it the council or are we just not creative in our thinking?

3.) 10 Oct 2025 11:42:05
Whilst I admire your ambition I think it is a little too early to be comparing Wolves finances with one of the big 6/8 teams.
Once Jeff has caught up with the leviathans that are Bournemouth, Brighton and Brentford etc etc maybe he could turn his sights on the tail lights of those clubs that are disappearing into the distance away from Wolves.

I thought we wanted 10mil ish for podence? He was there key man last season and we should hold out for more or put a good sell on clause in the contract

With sasa and fabio gone, we must be close to geting a striker in. I know they hardly played but it was two bodies on the bench, in a small squad.
With players away and gomez missing 3 we need cover if we pick up a couple of injuries we could find it difficult to win games

I agree with others who have no sympathy for the players

Overpaid footballers often seem unfazed by the threat of relegation because, in reality, it rarely affects them the way it impacts the club or its supporters. Even if their team drops down a division, players with any real talent usually have agents ready to line up moves to other clubs, often before the season has even ended. Their high wages, short career span, and constant demand in the transfer market mean they can walk away from the consequences that the fans and staff are left to deal with. For many of them, relegation is just an inconvenience rather than a genuine setback, because another opportunity—and another big contract—is never far away.

If Sunderland want Johnston ( who isn't a bad keeper) We should charge them a loan fee, with an add on if they stay up, we don't seem to do good deals with outgoing players

I agree with most points on the thred, I'm also not looking falward to another season of the same, selling off players only to struggle until January throw a bit of monney at it to avoid relegation and repeat. It will interesting to see what ambition nots forrest owner has in comparison. I have also email the club to cancel my tickes of 13 years stating the direction of the club over the last few seasons, times are tough and I can't justify circa £1500 anymore

Maybe the price increase in the tickets to " match clubs in our situation" hasn't helped, iv have had my season ticket for 15 years and with heavy heart have decided to not renew, my self and my 18 year old daughter in the northbank is nearly £1, 500 (£162 a month for 9months) I just can't justify that with the cost of living
