So the bbc are saying we have signed guedes, but nothing on the wolves page. Guess they give everyone Sunday off. I’m please we have signed someone else at least, guess that can put a few worries to bed.
1.) 07 Aug 2022 23:46:31
All agreed Goatmark, he's flying in tomorrow for medical and to sign. May be announced tomorrow as well.
2.) 08 Aug 2022 03:05:06
Guedes coming in, is a good signing but heard Neto to arsenal which is a bad move I think he's quality and needs to stay. any thoughts on wether that's true
3.) 08 Aug 2022 06:36:46
Doubt that will happen Christopher Lage wants more then one top player for each position. More likely MGW will go to fund Nunes.
4.) 08 Aug 2022 11:35:02
Will Bruno loose the dressing room letting Coady go, I think it’s a bad move. He’s more than a player he’s a leader.
5.) 08 Aug 2022 19:59:55
Last season and the season before was dire.
Lage will live by the sword or die by the sword
He’s trying to put his stamp on the team and god bless him for that.
If you thought we would survive with the same tactics as last season nooo way.
Guedes for Coady
Collins for Saiss
Nunes for MGW
You choose and debate
6.) 09 Aug 2022 01:46:01
We need a different identity, the football was stale towards the end of last season and it's good he's putting a stamp on things and he hasn't lost the dressing room you can see how the players played very well for most parts considering the lack of depth.
Lage needs time and I think he will get it, not easy clearing out the crap, bringing in new faces, whilst changing to a new formation and tactics. Have a little patience least we can all agree on thing we will finish above crappy man utd?

Would it be better for us to send out the players that want away on loan instead of selling them cheap? It might increase their value and would give certain players a chance to improve so they get in their respective international teams. Then we could potentially bring them back next season or loan them out for another season till we are back in the prem, risky and optimistic I know but worth a thought maybe? Seems a bit crazy just to get rid as some of them are good players with high potential but currently on a bad run of form.
Any thoughts on this suggestion?
1.) 29 Dec 2025 09:24:57
The problem you have goat is they do not want to be here full stop, regardless of what division we are in, Larsen, j Gomes, Andre, arias, Lopez and Sa all want out. Personally I would get what we can for them in January and get players in who A- want to be here and B- will do a job in the championship next season.
There is no guarantee we will come straight back up either, in fact it’s a lot more likely we won’t
2.) 29 Dec 2025 11:29:21
Have these players said they don’t want to be here? I haven’t seen anything about that, seems strange that Larsen signed a new contract but doesn't want to be here and same with the new signings, why did they sign if they don’t want to be here? Or is this just speculation?
3.) 29 Dec 2025 12:26:39
Job security and guaranteed wages Goatmark?.
Seriously I can't see them dedicated to us and wanting to play championship football, so let them go for the appropriate fee.
4.) 29 Dec 2025 12:27:49
I used to work at the club goat, a few years ago now but still have friends that work there and I can say 100 percent that I know at least 3 players have told the club they want out in January, who they are I don’t know that, but I would say it’s three of the people I said above but can see all of them going.
It’s obvious certain players do not want to be here you don’t have to have “insider” knowledge to see that.
Just look at the body language of Larsen, arias for example, they may as well be running around with for sale signs on their shirts
5.) 29 Dec 2025 15:23:38
In that case let’s hang on to them but loan them out to teams other than those in the Prem. Great idea Goatmark1.
If they can’t be ar**d why should Wolves?
6.) 29 Dec 2025 19:45:11
Fair enough Dwwg, I can see it being the two Brazilians as they prob want to be playing for their country, I’d hope the new signings would give it more time but equally they might see staying as too damaging. Going to be an interesting transfer window.
23 Oct 2025 18:25:11
Not sure who this goatmark2 is but it’s not me in case anyone wondered. First a fake jas account now someone pretending to be me. Don’t even know why it’s not like I post that often. All a little sad tbh and not really sure what the aim of it is. Perhaps the Ed’s can look in to it and try ban the person, although that’s probably easier said than done.
1.) 23 Oct 2025 21:54:43
Didn’t realise there were a few posts from that goatmark2 account, making me sound like a fool, doc up front indeed. Whoever you are I don’t need help to sound like a fool but thanks. Needless to say those posts do not reflect my opinion.
If the person who wrote those comments is reading this, stop being such a pathetic loser. People have more important things to worry about than some idiot pretending to be them on a football forum. It’s not funny and I pity you that this is how you gets your kicks. Weirdly I would like to know what happened to you to make you do something like this, such strange behaviour.
2.) 23 Oct 2025 18:33:49
Yeah mate it's easy to spot those fake accounts by their grammar.
04 Oct 2025 16:02:10
I see captain Tanganga has overseen another loss at Sheffield utd. Why didn’t we sign him?, I say put the fans in charge of signings as they know what’s needed. Dele Ali anyone?
1.) 04 Oct 2025 22:53:50
As I said at the time he was an absolute liability when he played for Spurs in the Prem. When he wasn't getting sent off for stupid tackles, he was being caught horribly out of position! I suspect he's one of those classic players that looks good in the Champ but just can't step up to the Prem (kind of like Kevin Foley, Kenny Miller or Sylvan Banks Blake) ?

I feel for Nuno if it’s true about his relationship with the owner of forest. Maybe it’s a difference in opinion on what players to get it. Tbh after the forest owner came on the pitch and shouted at him you felt it would be hard to come back from that. Not a good look and undermines Nuno I feel.
Also interesting to see palace fans thinking Glasner will walk if they don’t sign more players. Glad it’s not only us that seem to be panicking thinking our manager will leave soon.
1.) 22 Aug 2025 19:00:56
I agree Goats it's an interesting one. I actually see it from both points of view, Nunos within his rights to worry about not recruiting enough players to deal with a Euro comp (he's had that problem previously elsewhere I believe:); however Forest have also spent an absolute fortune during his tenure so I also understand the owner finding those comments frustrating!
I think you've hit it on the head though. With the kind of owner he is the coming on the pitch shouting was ALWAYS likely to be the beginning of the end! I think the bigger question is what happens if they get rid cause they may look at VP?! How bizarre would it be if by Jan they have VP and Nuno comes home! Probs not happening but stranger things have happened ?
2.) 22 Aug 2025 19:25:37
Nuno would never come back while shi is still at the club
27 Oct 2024 21:28:29
Interested to hear some views on palace’s result today. Does that help or hinder our game against them next weekend? Personally I’m glad they got their first win as hopefully they won’t be trying so hard against us (plus I always enjoy spurs losing), I know some think playing a team that keeps losing is better but I’m not convinced of that as they have to win sometime. Also palace have a tough trip to villa in the cup on Wednesday, then travelling back up to us let’s hope they are tired and we can get our first win.
1.) 28 Oct 2024 07:05:50
Big "6 pointer" Goat.
Thanks for helping reassure me with highlighting CP's schedule this week, it should help us.
Palace have quality players and if they click, it could be a very tough afternoon.
We have to collect points, as we are starting to be cut adrift.
Whatever formation or personnel, we have to improve our passing accuracy.
2.) 28 Oct 2024 09:43:52
We need 6 points from our next two games. Even then might just take us to 17th.
16 Nov 2025 10:52:51
Why wait till January to sign Allí or ox? Oh wait I know the answer. For anyone that doesn’t the word starts with the name of our best striker imo. Another wind up merchant.
15 Oct 2025 10:39:02
I’m starting to think Wolves fan man is actually Dele Ali trying to get some work.
03 Feb 2025 19:33:04
Surely actions speak louder than words and fosun seem to have acted despite what a lot of people thought. Let just hope it all gets confirmed.
27 Aug 2024 13:56:38
None of us really know what’s gone on behind the scenes. As I stated earlier there’s articles saying we have had a £20min bid rejected by Burnley. So all this speculation that Burnley have agreed lower fees then gone back on their word is purely that, speculation. And if recent reports are to be believed, then none of its true. Which means people are criticising the club and Burnley for no reason other than the fact we haven’t got anyone in yet. So who knows if we went in for O’Shea, or the other fella from Burnley. I suspect that after Wednesdays game we will know more as to if we have any interest in their players.
27 Aug 2024 11:03:38
Just read we had a £20 mil offer rejected last week. So all this we don’t want to offer the same as another team seems to be more made up stories.
09 Jan 2026 23:57:49
Ok I might have been wrong about which stand and the reason behind why the operation costs are more but I think it still affects the profit shrews take. Either way it still doesn’t seem it’s our fault to me.
09 Jan 2026 23:23:35
But I don’t think that’s the case, it’s not about the cost to us from what I see. If they had taken the higher amount of tickets first of all they would be in the Steve bull stand and so the operation costs would be fine. It’s the fact they wanted less so we put them in the stan cullis then they changed their minds but to add more fans to the stan cullis would affect the profit they take due to the layout and increased operation costs. Incidentally they are also complaining that we priced the tickets at £10 (funnily enough too low) which again means they aren’t taking as much, they even said they make more from a league game.
Btw i'm not trying to cause arguments First just trying to get the facts right to blame the right people, of course I could be reading the situation wrong.
09 Jan 2026 19:47:55
Can you give more detail, I can’t read the full article but from what I do see it seems like they were offered more initially but took the lower amount. Now have changes their mind but because it’s in the stan cull is not Steve bull the operating cost would outweigh what shrews make.
Seems like the fault of Shrewsbury owners not wolves, at least that’s what the comments I’ve seen say. Interested why you think it’s wolves fault.
08 Jan 2026 23:16:53
Let hope they win the rest of their games then firstthepoints. But yes well done we are 26points behind Brentford yet another pointless stat.
Tbh I think it’s more likely that we need to catch Leeds, whatever the case all we can do it try win as many as possible and hope others around us lose as many as possible. Much like the transfer thread the other day looking at what other teams are doing just adds to the disappointment. We can only try to control our own destiny
08 Jan 2026 19:42:36
Because it’s manipulation of the stats BB, as my post points out over a longer timeframe we are in fact better off. Using one game as an example isn’t a true reflection. As I said we now have 5 more points than we did 3 games ago which shows vast improvement even if we did only have 2 points. To say it’s not reflected in the table is misleading. As goodwhileitlasted points out we have a point more than them over the last three games.
Ultimately it’s pointless making the comparison and all it does is cast a negative light on things. The only thing that’s relevant is that we have got more points in the last 3 games than we had over the previous 18.
I’m all for people pointing out the way they view the predicament but I think we all get it by now, what’s the point in constantly reminding everyone other than to put a downer on what has been a good three games. Yes staying up is unlikely but why try kill the hope that some still have?
