So the bbc are saying we have signed guedes, but nothing on the wolves page. Guess they give everyone Sunday off. I’m please we have signed someone else at least, guess that can put a few worries to bed.

All agreed Goatmark, he's flying in tomorrow for medical and to sign. May be announced tomorrow as well.

2.) 08 Aug 2022 03:05:06
Guedes coming in, is a good signing but heard Neto to arsenal which is a bad move I think he's quality and needs to stay. any thoughts on wether that's true

3.) 08 Aug 2022 06:36:46
Doubt that will happen Christopher Lage wants more then one top player for each position. More likely MGW will go to fund Nunes.

4.) 08 Aug 2022 11:35:02
Will Bruno loose the dressing room letting Coady go, I think it’s a bad move. He’s more than a player he’s a leader.

5.) 08 Aug 2022 19:59:55
Last season and the season before was dire.
Lage will live by the sword or die by the sword
He’s trying to put his stamp on the team and god bless him for that.
If you thought we would survive with the same tactics as last season nooo way.
Guedes for Coady
Collins for Saiss
Nunes for MGW
You choose and debate

6.) 09 Aug 2022 01:46:01
We need a different identity, the football was stale towards the end of last season and it's good he's putting a stamp on things and he hasn't lost the dressing room you can see how the players played very well for most parts considering the lack of depth.
Lage needs time and I think he will get it, not easy clearing out the crap, bringing in new faces, whilst changing to a new formation and tactics. Have a little patience least we can all agree on thing we will finish above crappy man utd?

Just wanted to say my Dad passed away last Monday at only 72. He was wolves through and through so I was pleased to be able to tell him about the result against Chelsea before he died. He played a bit of football in his time and apparently had a mean left foot. I’d like to think you get to do the things you love when you died and could see him on the pitch on Saturday giving Costa that edge and helping the luck fall on our side. We shared a passion for the wolves and I’m going to miss the chats about the game. RIP Dad

I heard the other day that Max Kilman can’t be selected for the England squad because he played for the England fusball team. Anyone know if that’s true and if so what a joke!

Goatmark1

1.) 21 Mar 2023 11:45:17
Peacock were talking about it during the match saying Ukraine wanted him to play for them but as he'd already played at national level for England via fusball he isn't allowed to play for another nation.
Anotherone of those brainiac FIFA rules.
However he can play for the England football team but you know what Southgate is like he'd rather pick players that aren't playing.

2.) 21 Mar 2023 12:05:08
I may be wrong but I believe what they were actually saying is that he can't be called up by Ukraine because he's already played for the English Fusbal team (thus selected a nationality). I believe both his parents are Ukrainian and they had looked into calling him up. I may be wrong but I believe the main thing keeping him out of the England squad (and Harry useless Maguire in it) is just good old fashioned top team bias! ?

3.) 22 Mar 2023 08:19:35
Eric Dier and Kalvin Phillips are in the squad. Say no more. This is the reason why Southgate needs to go.

4.) 22 Mar 2023 12:06:44
One of many many reasons Jas M.

Am I missing something? I expected a lot more posts celebrating Scott Sellars leaving, but I only see 1 mention about it. I’m sure there were lots on here calling for his head, I guess it’s hard for moaners to moan about something good.

Goatmark1

1.) 26 Nov 2022 11:06:14
Funny, I was thinking similar about Matt Hobbs being named DoF, I thought there would be mains and groans.

In terms of Sellars, I believe he became the new Jez Moxy (pantomime villain) but something had to have gone on for Shi to sack him. Or could it be he was sacked to get the fans back onside? we’ll never know what goes on internally, but Hobbs came out yesterday and made some bold statements, and I was wondering if they were loaded comments?

2.) 26 Nov 2022 12:28:04
.because of the way Wolves manage PR, Sellars going has been commented on for weeks.
So it became old news when finally confirmed.
A fair bit on other sites regarding Hobbs.
An underwhelming appointment seems to be the consensus.
Personally, my feeling is the Role
is much diluted.
Lopetique seems to have control of Football matters.

3.) 26 Nov 2022 12:43:50
There's been a few Sellars has gone posts, most have moved down to banter 2.

4.) 26 Nov 2022 15:15:32
You must have missed it Goat, I posted one and saw at least half a dozen all posted at roughly the same time, across Rumours, Banter and Other Posts.

5.) 26 Nov 2022 21:17:27
To satisfy the points in question.

Goatmark. Whoopee Sellars has gone!

Debbie. Oh no Matt Hobbs!

6.) 27 Nov 2022 00:51:07
That’s better. Thanks Ken, I concur!

12 Mar 2022 22:56:23
Just seen Connor Ronan’s goal in the Scottish cup, definitely worth a watch. I have a feeling we might see him next season playing a few games for us.

Goatmark1

1.) 12 Mar 2022 23:56:23
I really hope we do as he certainly has served his apprenticeship over the years with all of his loan moves.

2.) 13 Mar 2022 08:41:04
Stratto - The fact that he's spent so much time out on line may tell a different story.
Wolves have a few players like this who appear to be good enough but will they ever make it to the first team squad?

3.) 13 Mar 2022 09:00:48
Yes, but the fact that we keep extending his contract out rather than letting him go as we have with so many others, suggests that there may be a future there somewhere.

4.) 13 Mar 2022 09:06:31
Apologies for the typo Statto and as you say Goat it was an amazing goal and well worth watching.

20 Feb 2022 10:49:29
So I’m about to drive from London to Wolverhampton, trains look like they will be useless. Anyone got any thoughts as to if the match will go ahead etc and if it’s crazy to drive in today’s weather?

Goatmark1

1.) 20 Feb 2022 11:20:44
I think it'll go ahead. The winds have died down here now, it's just grey and wet.

2.) 20 Feb 2022 11:51:35
Your choice pal I would go for it.
Bon voyage ?

3.) 20 Feb 2022 12:34:20
Thanks for you input Statto and Phil. I’m going to give it a go.

4.) 20 Feb 2022 12:50:34
???
???
Enjoy!

5.) 20 Feb 2022 13:30:30
It'll go ahead mate we're only on a yellow alert here will just be a bit windy and no i'm not on about the after effects of last nights curry.

Since the World Cup we have scored 9 goals. That’s more or the same as roughly 8 teams in the premier league. Chelsea have scored 5 in the same time. Some posters on here are as bad as the commentators and pundits. Wolves struggled to score under Lage yes, but under Lop we are doing fine. Better than Chelsea and how many strikers do they have? Stop making drama where there is none.

Worth more than £30 mil in my opinion, galvanises the squad and keeps relative order at the back.

What about Mosquera? He’s a cb that we’ve signed. I’m sure if fosun could have got someone in sooner they would have. And we have signed 6 players so far this summer along with a few more u23’s.

My personal opinion is that Coady won’t go and the same for Neves, doesn’t feel like players with recent articles/ comments on the Wolves rumours page saying things like how excited they are to be playing with fans at molineux again would then leave the club a few weeks later. I could be wrong of course but it doesn’t make sense from a club point of view telling fans one thing then doing another.

I didn’t say it was all his fault, a bit of an overreaction. I’ve taken the hint, will keep my opinion to myself. I guess we are only aloud to pick on the youngsters on here and say they aren’t good enough for the prem.

I’ve felt that way about sarabia for a while tbh Jas, I get what your saying though, I guess he needs better players around him to show what he can do. He reminds me a bit of podence with the flapping arms and complaining about things but at least he doesn’t dive around all the time. Just disappointed as we could have gained some ground on the other teams around us. Cunha really drives us forward, he even had time to get frustrated with the backwards passes when we should have been playing it forwards.

Yep a missed opportunity I think. We seem to be getting worse every game. I’m not sure what Sarabia brings other than being one of the uninjured front line but he thinks he’s playing the best football of his career. I try to stay positive and always hope/think we can win but some of the football we play is terrible. Really hope we can get a few quality players in in the summer, the lack of competition in the side isn’t helping. Glad to see Cunha back, instant improvement when he came on. I thought the young lad did well considering the lack of service. If Ran could score we would have won comfortably, he needs to pass it to someone who can shoot.

Is this the official team news? I missed the press conference and can’t find team news anywhere. Needless to say the bbc are obsessing over Man City Arsenal so no room for news from the likes of us.
