With Ait-Nouri (if he stays) on the left, this kid on the right we have players who will drive at defences.
1 or 2 options in the middle, could be in for a few more goals!

Wow. What an absolute stinker of a start to the season. Appointed GON and after a poor start we had a great run. The injuries and since the Coventry result we have been poor at best. Now this with Fosun. TBH I wasn't too surprised about the Fire sale before the season stated. Really only miss/missed Neves. I was really optimistic for next season thinking we were in a much stronger position than many other teams of similar size, but maybe there will be little or no investment in the team. Can't understand why Fosun don't want to protect their investment. The PL is promoted worldwide and a massive opportunity to attract investors. Not so sure they'll get the same level of exposure in the championship or the money either from TV or from selling us. Doesn't make any sense, so I'm hoping they do support GON, because if not we'll get relegated next year based on our last 10 matches.

Well I'll be hoping to see oxford back up in the championship later today Phil, they've got a job to do v Bolton and in honesty I don't mind who wins but it'll be a nice watch after the prem/var fiascos.

I'm certainly hoping for the best phil, I think a lot of it will depend on Fosuns commitment to us, and I'm a little dubious over that at the moment. The sooner we get good news the better for all concerned.
If GONs given what he thinks he needs then I'll be optimistic.

These high value players you talk about E, Jota, Neves, Kilman? They didn't have PL experience before we sold them. Look at the ones we've developed Gomes, RAN, H Bueno, Traore, Neto, etc.
Regarding the shirt supplier. Wasn't this our best sponsorship deal ever? Isn't this the way good business works and FFP now?

Really E. Is that why the lost the last 10+ games including a quarter final loss to Coventry in the last minute. Can't and I don't blame him entirely but without Dawson alongside him he didn't look that great. Caught out of position and ball watching too many times.

Agree on a new CB, but hopefully we can retain RAN and Neto, and revenue raised through the sales of Silva, Guedes and Podence. Maybe Hoover and Chiquito also. Although we'll make loses on some of those at least we might be able to get them off the wages bill and get a decent CB in.

Or wait for the Gov't to get behind hosting one of the big sporting events. Ask them to build a 60-70 thousand stadium in Wolverhampton and when it's redundant ask them nicely to give it to us. Tongue in cheek but that's how WHU got theirs isn't it. Extra capacity from Upton park. They moaned about the move at first, but don't hear many moaning now. Extra capacity equals extra revenue equals greater spending power equals opportunity to get players. Apologies but I get a bit bitter when some of the chosen few get an unfair advantage when have to find a way.
