No doubt in my mind for the first time we are in serious trouble.
It's not looking good and I honestly can't call one way or another if we will stay up.
All can do is just hope we survive.
Not feeling the need to apologise results/performances say it all.
Var and refs decisions are a smoke screen to how poor we are.
Lopetegui isn't getting his team to get results with all the quality better bigger squad than previous managers.
Be a tragedy if we go down and no doubt everyone will have the people who they see are to blame.But whoever it is we all suffering the same outcome.

JL has added quality to the squad but has not yet given the new additions any consistent game time. The squad needs to settle and get used to playing together and the quick multiple substitutions can sometimes disrupt the teams rhythm.
Cunha needs to partner Raul, Joao needs to start regularly and Bouba would bring some energy and athleticism to the midfield.
Time to decide on best eleven and stick with it.

Got to agree phil, we give away goals too easily, simple things, and we don't 'go' for goal, we want to score text book walked in efforts which don't work. The refs and var have certainly effected games but as you say they've become a smokescreen which we should surmount on the field. Worrying times now and the pressure increases making they job harder. Are we up to it? Well we need to show fight and determination, that was happening yesterday until JL mysteriously subbed neves for mouts. It immediately slowed our game and maybe a decision well live to regret. Can only sit with fingers crossed and hope the team play for wolves and not their own futures.

I still think we should be setting up 5 at the back, if we have to go 4 at some point during the game ok. The lack of discipline is also starting to become of serious concern. As Phil said were in real trouble, and frankly have been since the end of last season, the refereeing decisions are just masking the other issues IMO.

Fosun were very determined to get JL into the post and he did have a reasonably good start but so did the previous occupant, remember how that ended?
Both spent significantly in the transfer market and we all thought great things were on the horizon. Both had historically successful careers (so far) and promised a change of approach.
Regardless, we are still not performing despite the investments we have made so l begin to wonder.

We are simply not good enough without neves on the field. Substituted 2 games running now. Trying to protect him from getting a ban is pointless if it is costing us games. We need points on the board now. Confidence will now take a hit which obviously will make it even harder to get results. I'm afraid to say it, but if we lose at forest, I think it will be all over for us. Defence is shambolic and I'm not just talking about yesterday. We could have been 4 down at half time against Newcastle. In fact, the 1st half against Newcastle we were in total disarray, players did not have a clue what they were supposed to be doing, so yesterday's performance was always on the cards. Focus going forward, has to be on getting our defending back to basics. We are not capable of scoring enough goals to counterbalance a leaky defence. So it has to be back to basics and grind out a few results, starting with forest.

After the disappointment and yes some poor decisions from the officials we were simply second best. Worryingly I fear we don't have players that know what it's like to be in a UK relegation battle I just hope they can sort themselves out quickly and get to grips with it. If they don't the worst could happen! Wake up you Wolves!

I have had concern for us for a while now and always thought we too good to go down yesterday's result the way we conceded 4 goals at home in such a huge mega important match has made me change of feeling to how it is as I said in original post above.
From now on whatever formation starting line up use of subs it has to start to produce results.
Remains in premier league whatever it takes ugly football 5 at the back 6 at the back whatever we avoid the drop we can go again next season.
I'm disappointed with having a world class manager that we are where we are.
I thought we would be comfortable by now.
Lopetegui has had time when he started with the league delayed with the world cup.
I have no clear idea why this is happening.
My big fear is Lopetegui is not a bottom half of the league manager.
Ancollti (sorry spelling) he couldn't turn around Everton into a top of the league challengers where they wanted him to do will Lopetegui be similar?
I really really hope not.
I thought in pre season this season would be different like no other through the first ever winter world cup but never would of thought the league would be how its gone so far.

Jl.messe with the starting11 too much.no consistency.and the fact that wer useless infront of goal.doesnt help.these players wev brought in have added nothing apart from lemina.wer in big trouble because the other teams around us seem capable of picking up points wer we dont.i thit at least 4from leeds/forest.be lucky to pick up1now
