Would be sad to see Joao go, however from his side I would understand, if he is to leave, hopefully it will not be until the summer.

I think we can and we could get a run going the next 4 league games. One game at a time mind. But the aim must be to get within 9 points of Forest before the Forest game
I just want the club to bring two forwards (Pace!), a rwb and a cb.
I would sell Wolfe and Larsen.
I like the idea of McAtee coming in and freeing up space in the squad.

Agree DMac and Madman time is now for another 3 points and a good run. I am still not giving up hope just yet, would be good for a club to lose points for breaching rules about now. Think all we can do is try and win as many games as possible and see what happens.
Positive results and performances can only help and finish the season on a high for a change even if we are relegated.

Madman, I agree with you on selling Larsen if we get the right money. This will allow us to buy a striker ready for an assault on the Championship next season as well as adding to the midfield once the inevitable Joao Gomes move happens. If not, we know we've got a decent player who knows how to score. Rob Edwards just needs to work out how to get tge best out if him.
I would keep Wolfe as he isn't on big wages, won't command a big fee and actually looks good going forward.

Seen rumours, tomorrow we are playing with JSL up front in a 541 formation. Back 5 of Wolfe, Toti, Agbadou, Mosquera, Jackson, then Andre, Joao, Krejci, Bellegarde.
What are people’s thoughts on this, if true?

Rob Edwards now 1/5, seems likely, don’t think bookies are normally this much out. Refreshing to hear we may have 3 academy players on the bench for Chelsea, long overdue young players actually getting into the team. Everyone will get behind Edwards if it does happen.

Thought we were ok today, if we had started season in this way would not be in any trouble.
They kept Mane quiet, overall teams cancelled each other out.
Personally would have liked to have seen R.
Gomes a little earlier and concern is, if Mane doesn’t create and/or score, not sure who else will, maybe harsh but seems the case at the moment.
Joao, Andre and H. Bueno I thought were good today.

I thought jackson had a fair game, and mosquiro can't be faulted for his effort.
Under instruction or not, Andre and gomes held on to the ball longer than they needed at times I thought and we had opportunity to get forward wasted.
Tolu also worked well holding things up and being a nuisance.
In total I think the lads did well, Sa abit questionable at times, but then as I mentioned at HT it could have been the wet ball he was worried over.
Oh well a points a point.

Steady game today, the 2 sides fairly even matched, effort an intensity without the ball
Was 100%, a game lost points wise to close the gap, but a point better than none all the same. Gomez wasn’t happy coming off and to be fair to him he put it about, but he did give the ball away a fair bit in our half of pitch, but his endless running amd aggression was top notch, I’d have taken Whang off first for Larson.
Maybe Chachua for Rodrigo . Another performance in the right direct and a clean sheet, onward and upwards.

Dunno what Sa's thinking at times, maybe the wet ball is a problem.?
Interesting jackson and Hugo at swapped at the end of the first and Hugo so close to putting us ahead.
Hopefully we might be more adventurous in the second half and get Mane free.

Good effort from the lads well organised and normally be happy with a point but could have done with a win today. They are good side though and even weakened by injuries they can still bring on Wissa, Elanga and Miley. Just needed that bit of luck or creativity to nick a goal. I would be happy to keep Joao at least until the summer. Difficult on the price for Agbadou I think, when we first signed him he looked excellent, the start of this season he was awful. In saying this, we should, in my opinion, get back what we paid for him.

Our transfer business, especially sales, has routinely under-valued our assets, I would contend. Most confusing is Myeupiyou. What actually happened there? I think we paid £5 million and sold him/ loaned him/ gave him away. Pretty much an ever present for Alverca, first year back in Portuguese top flight and after a shaky start to the season, are now comfortably mid-table.

I agree with Goodwhileitlasted our defence seems much better these days, is it that both Toti and Agbadou have not been playing or better coaching from Rob and team?
Although very unlikely I am not giving up yet on us surviving in the Prem, will take some seriously good results but still hoping.
Be a great time for some club to lose points from breaching rules.

Your half way there Banksy, I think you'll find that it's not that Toti is playing better but rather hardly playing at! He hasn't started a single game in Jan and the proof is in the results!
And again half right Ox Agbadou would be class at Champ level (sadly I suspect we won't keep him down there) Toti on the other hand will still be a squad/middle of the table CB even in the Champ! There in lies the problem with VPs ridiculous choice of him for the armband! ?

City just keep spending, no problem for them. Hope Mane stays, play a lot more for us than any of the top clubs.

Think I may have to finally admit we are down, not sure what Rob doing starting Arias and Hwang ahead of JSL or Tolu. May not have made any difference but odd decision in my opinion. Not sure who will come and go now, all we can ask for is good performances and finish the season in a positive manner ?

Be nice to go on a decent run, maybe getting ahead of myself though we have only won once, hope we get something tonight ??
