Chan agreed personal terms with crystal Palace and look set to go if a fee is to be worked out between both sides. I’m torn on this one because yeah he hasn’t been great last season and a half Ish but when he’s on, he’s one of the best finishers in our team and can School, but it is probably the best thing for him if he moves on because he is just stuck in a rut at the moment I’m still concerned because we need more attackers and forwards and as the GSL rumors continue to grow, surely FOSUN would not sanction that because we would have nobody up front and I don’t know how you would survive.

The promises from day 1 about being in the champions league and winning a trophy within 10 years as well as doing the stadium up haven't been kept. So don't be surprised. Relegation is guaranteed

Fosun did what they said they would do right up until COVID-19. They obviously don't have the same money since a big chunk of their fortune was wiped out. They are now treading water with us because that's all they can afford to do, so pointless to keep on berating them about lack of ambition. A new buyer is our only option.

Excellent Fordhouses, I really did think this summer was going to be different and here we are, starting the season having sold established players replacing them with no time to get up to speed, with possibly good future players to sell on. Same as last few seasons, depressing when the best we can hope for is 17th, unless VP can work miracles, that is of course if he remains.

While I appreciate what fosun did in the past the unfortunate fact is that the fosun business model when they bought us and the current business model they operate under are like chalk and chews it may as well be two completely different companies, if the current way of operating continues it will not and cannot succeed in the money pit that is the premier league, that’s just a stone cold fact
So the only way we will be anything other than relegation candidates season after season is they go back to funding the club or they sell

I'm disappointed with how short the team has been left starting the season.
But I would say that the bigger clubs Man Utd, City, Chelsea and Arsenal have only announced the players they don't need the past 8-10 days. Maybe this is due to CWC but there is still a lot of players that would improve the quality of the Wolves squad either as signings or loans.
Players will wait to see what there best chance is of getting in WC squads next year.
Sanchez and Pubill could be the full backs for Spain next summer. We can moan but you can see that the club has aimed to replace players with quality. Still think Jackson and Moller Wolfe will be successes to be fair.
Also we can say we need quality then claim the club should sign anyone (which has happened on this rumour site aswell).
Yes Sunderland have signed players for example but West Ham were poor last season so I don't think there strategy is any better than ours to be honest.
From the x amount of signings around 25% will be a success that's the way it is in the prem. You look like a transfer guru if its rights but a plonker if it turns out like Cutrone, Guedes, Nunes and Silva.
Genuinely if we got Disasi, Fofana, Vieira, Casado and Uche would be a strong finish to the window.
Thats 8 signings not sure where Hwang and Silva would fit in around that though.
Vitor needs to put his foot down on players he actually wants.

From what I've seen of Hwang when his tail is up he's capable of scoring in any game, but when he loses confidence he goes missing. Add to that his injury record and when he has been in good form the injury usually puts a stop to it.
Players will start adjusting their expectations around moves over the next couple of weeks with either wage demands, the level they want to play at to play regularly and whether they and their clubs are open to loans.
The thing we don't know is how active a part the club will play in that time either successfully or not.

So frustrating. You can’t score if you can’t put the ball in the box. You are not going to score by lumping the ball to JSL when no one is around him. We play with shackles around us and are so slow and boring.
No creativity and no pace. We need to move the ball quicker and get people into the box. I feel sorry for Rob Edwards.

It was pathetic. Nothing had changed. Slow, no imagination and JSL, Hwang, Bellegarde useless. You really do have to feel sorry for any new manager coming into this team. It requires a complete rebuild from scratch. Hopefully if it is Edwards he will never play Hwang again.

Vitor was a nice guy and I think could be a good manager but like many others, fail due to the ownership. Even if we scrape by this season Andre and Gomes will be sold, maybe Larson and Kreijc and then the insanity continues.

Stops with the coach on game day, the team picked had surrendered before KO, how does Hoover get a game of football? How does Andre and Gomez start on bench? don’t get me started on Agbadoo and Totti, the players are not playing anywhere near the potential they have, and the has to be issues in changing room, Gomez carrying the ball back into his own half of pitch said it all, he’s had enough as have the fans.
VP has to go and Fosun either have to sell up or sack Shi and bring a football

Things need to change fast. Hopefully that coincides with the rumours that Vitor has gone. Today I am losing all hope and fast. I even have had thoughts they could get relegated this season and next season again. The rot will be hard to remove. Hope we can sort it out.

I don’t think Vitor should go, but it is so clear that he’s been sold down the river, and we have simply not invested in players that can come and make a difference straight away. It is so incredibly frustrating to see some of our better place that we do have not have quality around them. Jeff is backed himself into a corner too, so I don’t know what he will do to try and save face, but we simply cannot keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect to have a different outcome. We should not be losing to promoted teams. I am so incredibly disappointed in the ownership as I see wolves crumble before my eyes. I’m usually one of the more positive people on this site and I hope that we can pick up points in the next game and kick on from there but it’s going to be a total grind this season.

I don't believe that for one minute. He's come our and said that every player that been brought into the club since he's been here has been hand picked and approved by him. He's out of his depth. We sacked GON under similar circumstances but at least he had the excuse of playing all of the big clubs in the first 10 games where as VP has made Leeds and Sunderland look like seasoned campaigners.

The team looks like an clueless bunch of individuals picked off the sheet for their individual talents, then told not to use them and try to find someone in the same coloured shirt, because that seems to be the only unifying aspect of the teams VP put out.
He dosnt know his 1st choice team and dosnt seem to see the wrongs he makes. He's cost us points with inexplicable subbing. Today was no better with hoever replacing Doc.
Arias has far more attacking ability I'm sure, larsen dosnt get the ball and I'm afraid dosnt look that committed of late. I don't see gomez and Andre playing for anything but their transfers.
The young lads lopez and rodrigo are under used.
Kriejci and munetsi give it their all and Doc the old pro.
Johnstone has improved but again shows his shortcomings.
Santi goes quietly about his job.
But where are the committed dedicated attitudes we saw in neves moutihino raul etc?
VP dosnt seem to inspire them, Fosun simply pay them.
VP must be held responsible, its ok having pints after points but he's not able to organise a pee up in a brewery it seems, or even organise who would be sitting where.

I don’t see why if Larsen scores another 14-18 goals this season why his value would not be 65-75 at end of season. Goal scorers are hard to come by and he has shown he can cut it. If he was more consistent however last season he could have had closer to 20 goals and in a team like us that is fantastic.

We just always make it too hard for ourselves and even though we had a good second half the story of our season is like the past few years where we only seem to get going for 1/2 a game. Plus, we just don’t have any luck and some of the goals scored against us tonight I bet the players will never replicate those goals again. Therefore goal was beyond Lucky.

They won’t sack him now. Just gave him a 3 year deal unless they have something in the contract that states if he hasn’t won in 10 games or so he can be fired with no payout. I know I know who would sign a contract like that. And then if he does go there would be a big payout for him and all his staff. Then we are in the same cycle of having to spend in Jan and hope we stay up and then during the summer sell off the last of the best players like JSL, Andre and Gomes, and then we are even more weakened.
I hope we do a wolves and go on to somehow win the next two games against form and instill some confidence before the Sunderland game.
Would be nice to have a cup run also.

Uche was not offered more money to play for Palace. That deal fell apart because of Mendes messing stuff up and trying to line his own pockets causing the player and agent to be upset at wolves. I am sure he has had his hand in other things too so not sure why we still use him.

They are free for a reason and just shows how we could not get a MF in that Vitor wanted. But then again we can’t offer Europe or high wages so we will always be up against it unless we throw money around like crazy and go into some serious debt.
