The manager needs to take into account the size and physicality of the players we play upfront Neto Podence Mautinho are very skillful players but are easily knocked of the ball and look to the ref to give them fouls which we all know is not going to happen. Is it time to try three at the back and four in midfield, if we do not come up with the best eleven and formation soon we will be in the championship next season

The whole reason for going to a back 4 was to give us more attacking threat. The numbers show that hasn't worked so in my mind there is no point in playing the extra attacker for the remainder of the season. Might as well go with a back 3, 2 wingbacks, 3 in midfield and 2 up top. It would be hard to score less goals than they are and would in theory add more stability at the back.

To play a back four you need good full backs, Semedo hasn't the slightest idea defensively and Jonny is a liability since his injury. Oh for the days of Coady, Boly and Saiss. We have struggled to score goals for a long time but we can't defend either now. The midfield are stocked with lightweight pretty footballers, no aggression or fight. Teams around us fighting for their lives are starting to pick up points while we throw them away. Referees and officials are undoubtedly against our club but it's us who miss the chances.

I'd say it's more like the attack that's lightweight (Adams excepted) rather than the midfield that contains Neves and Lemina. Even Moutinho can get a tackle in and Gomes can put himself about.
