Ken, it's hard to write much when we lose
Maybe just go out on the booze
With decisions like what should we think
It's enough to drive a man to drink
Still on we march in our quest to survive
A win against Leeds will help keep us alive
With relegation knocking on our door
Lets hope our forwards can up the score
By the weekend I'll be back in the mood
As no one wants to be that negative dude
Still football's problems run much deeper

I quite enjoyed 'quiet' Match of the Day

Sums up the feeling so well longmynd and even instils optimism again. Let's hope the squad can get it read out to them in portugese Spanish Korean English and Irish. Oh and the Brazilian version of Portuguese. (if there is one?). Brilliant mate.

Longmynd take a bow my friend! That is excellent I'm going to take a screenshot of that to save. I intend to give it a name as I shall treat it as being personal. I think will be something along the lines of "Ode to an ancient old gold man". tbh maybe I should put silly or stupid in there as well, not sure though!

You are all too kind and you're welcome Ken. I must admit I was feeling quite disillusioned, following last weekends result and the circumstances around it, again.
Still knocking up those little rhymes helps me to re-focus on the job in hand, so stung by your reaction to my last post Ken (lol) I thought I'd better respond.

Pedro Goncalves, scored a worldie for Sporting tonight. How did we let him slip through our fingers? 16 goals and 7 assists from midfield this season.what a difference that would have made for us.
