I think it was Buxwolf who was pointing a finger at our scouting/recruitment earlier and others starting to question why our new signings don't seem to be getting regular minutes, injuries aside. JL would, of course, say he picks the side from the squad he thinks is best suited to start on the day.
However, for example, Wolves bought: Nunes £43M and Cunha £44M. Fulham bought: Paulinha £20M and Willian £10M.
I know Willian is on £240K per week which is about £100K more than Wolves would pay max, however, if Fulham get 2 years out of him he's cost them about £20M in total plus Wolves max wages, if that makes sense. So Paulinha and Willian for £40M or Cunha and Nunes for £87M?
On current performances who did the best business? I know what I think, when you're fighting relegation it's the here and now that matters.
Having said that Fulham don't help themselves in 2 minutes the Manager and 2 players red carded and a penalty conceded in the match against Man U tonight and for once, the ref was spot on.

Trouble is, and more to the point Longmynd, Fulham have also damaged our chances of avoiding relegation because their next four games are against Bournemouth, Everton,West Ham and Leeds. Mitrovic will be handed a lengthy ban because of his manhandling of the referee and Willian will miss three games. They'll also miss the touchline coaching from their manager after he was red carded too. You couldn't make it up!

Couldn't fault any of it longmynd. Fulham lack of discipline in mitrovic and the manager cost them. They were looking ok until then. If I was a Fulham fan I'd be incensed.

Totally agree Longmynd, Go back to the mad money wasted on Semedo and Silva. Since then which "big money" signing has paid back?
Yet Shi remains in charge?!
Sadly Fulham not only let them selves down yesterday, they have let us down as well!
Somehow, this group of players need to start justifying their involvement with our great Club.

Hand - Ball that stops a certain goal doesn’t need to be so severely punished, just award the goal and get on with the game, a sending off, the game handed to the opposition and a ban for the offender is a bit of an over reaction, it’s not even a yellow card really, people are walking out of Court with lesser sentences.
