I think first time Lopetegui is due some criticism.
Adama should never wear a Wolves shirt again it's clear he doesn't want to be here.

It is really disappointing, not so much the result, but the performance.
A poor transfer record over the last 3 seasons has left us with a group pf players not fit for purpose.
Out of 25, not sure I would be disappointed if any left in the summer (maybe one or two).

Does the chopping and changing of the team not help?
Under Nuno our best seasons back in the premier it was virtually the
same side every week.
Niggling injuries are of course out of our managers hands maybe nuno was fortunate with injuries.
Disappointed with result but we go on to spurs.

Not sure why you are targeting Adama,Rated because every midfielder come forward had a shocking game. And before anyone says we need a striker,we hardly crossed the halfway line in that awful second half so would have needed one who can score from 50 yards. Where's Nayim when you need him? Dawson was excellent again so there's at least one top additional.

Tend to agree with you Phil about a settled 'first team'.
Having said that too many players know they will or will want to leave at the end of the season. Neves, Nunes, Moutinho, Traore, Costa, Jimenez. Pretty much all of the midfield and attack, who are the failing areas of the team.
Let's hope we can limp to the finish line and Fosun are prepared to spend big in the summer otherwise next season will be even worse imo. I hate being negative but there is something still missing here as on paper we have a good squad of footballers.
I would suggest it's a lack of commitment to the club from too many players now, so in my humble opinion a considerable rebuild is still needed.

I thought sarabia was again a let down and deserved to be off at HT. Adama was no improvement tho, A. Because he was having one of his days and B. We again didn't get the ball to him. Thought nunes was poor and mouts had been better forward but understandably tired, but the replacements just left us with holes in midfield. Lamina put in the effort, funny how he gets sent of for waving his arms but he gets stamped on and the pool player gets a yellow. Sa could have been more powerful with his save but for Jota to have the space then van dyke step forward to score terrible. Well beat spurs tho, so keep the faith onwards we go.

Not sure that there's been too much tinkering with the starting eleven because apart from the injured Cunha, the team was exactly the same as at Fulham. With injuries, suspensions never mind loss of form and the existence of a large squad there's never going to be a settled team.

I would imagine that JLo and the recruitment/scouting team are already identifying the players they will need as replacements.
We also have Neto and Sasha who will return to the fold and of course Bouba, Chiquinho etc. Will be interesting to see if Nunes stays with us.

More so with the subs at halftime my thinking is Old Wulf and just putting it our there asking the question as you guys know more than I from seeing the matches a lot more than myself.
From comments of our manager bravo Liverpool they pressed and didn't give us time on the ball.
Want to look on the bright side Liverpool are top 4 top 6 material we still on journey to get top 6.
Always get the Bournemouths the Huddersfields who put 10 men behind the ball.
Also we are wolves and are used to nail biting etc

To me Raging/Winton, its pretty obvious that is the core problem here. We've had a good January window, but while the new players are settling in you would think the existing ones would carry the burden more.
I seem to remember us going through something similar when Kenny Jackett took over and was forced to clear out under-performing players who thought they were irreplaceable whereas in fact, they'd just been here too long and had become lazy.
I also believe that this team has been unsuccessful since Nuno tried to change the style of play, failed then got the sack. Bruno came in, had a short period of success by playing Nuno's original style but then tried to change it, failed and got the sack. JL has come in to play that 4 at the back, play out from the back, style and is so far doing a little better but still hasn't got the players he needs, imo.

Old Wulf mate it's everymatch with Adama just lately his head has been turned so why waste a sub or shirt on him anymore?
I agree with you about the midfield as a whole and people aren't going to like this but the harsh reality is Neves is not captain material, love the bloke to bits but he isn't cut out for captaincy unfortuantly, we need a voice on the pitch a motivator.
But on the flip side if giving Neves the armband means he stays then i'm all for that.
