Hope the lads were watching Brentford last night, saw the energy and commitment they put in and the overall team spirit.
If we can replicate some of that urgency in our play we'll be a far better team.
VP might take a note or two from Andrews in the tactic and substation usages too.
Not overly sure about today's game, Burnley would be expected to park the proverbial and hit us on the break, but they may well have seen our defensive frailties and decide to go for it from the start and turn the mol on itself.
Hope we go right at them, get a couple of early strikes lift the support and keep going.
VPs selection and tactics could be a defining moment in our clubs very future.
Hoping for the best, praying for the win. COYW

Didn’t see the Brentford game, however did watch Sunderland and they were very good. All of their players fully committed, chasing everything and putting Chelsea players under constant pressure. Unfortunately I have not seen the same desire from many Wolves players this season, it is past time we did. Hoping for a good performance and the result will follow 🤞

To be honest Banksy spurs away was the only time we've really chased on the opposition and the subbing cost us 3 points. If we can replicate that effort and defend staunchly we should be capable of the points we need.
Brentford were in the main quick in clearing or carrying the ball upfield, something we might consider instead of the passing across and back.
Mind you if we can't fire things up for today's game then we are doomed.

The Spurs game is the only 1 that I missed. You are correct though Abbeywolf if we not up for this game we never will be, hope we don’t start playing around too much in defence and move the ball much quicker. Be interesting team selection, will Hwang be back?

Can't start both strikers otherwise will have no options when we're losing at half time / need a goal late on

Wolves have got to win tomorrow if Wolves lose puts them 8 points from safety. My prediction 2-0 to the Wolves Notts lose at Bournmouth out bottom 3 that would do.

So a famous old club goes into administration. It's problems involve a lack of football background with its owner, a stadium allowed to deteriorate, and a policy of selling its best players. Do those issues ring any bells?

No idea who you might be referring to Wimborne, what a shocking way to run a football club. Watching Sheffield fans interviews they were mainly just glad to see the back of their owner under any circumstances.

Really hoping for a good performance and win tomorrow, 3-0 will do the job. Then unfortunately back down to earth, more than likely a nervy 1-1 draw. Read somewhere that Jeff is giving VP another 4 games including tomorrow, think I would assess things after seeing the performance tomorrow.

To be honest Banksy if we don't win and the same issues of tactics and substitutions contribute to that again there really is little point in waiting 4 games to make a decision.
It's disappointing but if VP can't get a tune out of them, like him or not, there's no point in putting it off. Frankly another managerial victim of Fosun's financial restrictions, imo.

Wolves beat Burnley move off the bottom of the table. Onwards and upwards.

Oh the dreams I'm having LinsayB, seeing nuno last night looking bewildered must have sparked them . But the thought of our wolves being off the bottom tomorrow night then beating Fulham without Raul or Adama scoring against us and climbing up the table to midway by Xmas, then dogs barking woke me and reality sank back in, Burnley will frustrate us, we won't have the creativity to break them and we'll be lucky to get a point.
Seriously I watched the game last night and thought both teams were better than us at our 'best', and you could almost read Nuno planning his changes to improve WH for the future.
Even if we thrash burnley tomorrow and get something at Fulham we'll still end up down the bottom playing inthe fashion VP has had us so far.
It may be onwards tomorrow night but I fear it won't be upwards for too long.
No matter what, COYW.

What do you think of frank Lampard but don’t think he would come tho
25 Oct 2025 16:34:59
Lampard has probably found the right level needed to gain consistent experience. He was probably out of his depth and under pressure at Chelsea and Everton.

This is my first post on this site but it is a site that I have followed for a long time. I feel the pain and anguish of all Wolves supporters but I think I've ran out of excuses for Mr. Shi and Fosun.
Unless they sell up soon, I cannot see a bright future for the club. They have conned us and for the last few years we have been watching the true Fosun operate. let's remember that firstly they are an investment company and Shi's job is to bring in the Millions for Fosun's bigger picture. I do not believe they ever had any intensions of ground development or for the club to be playing Champions League football on a regular basis.
The truth is there. We made Europe and if that squad would have just had a little more investment, we could have achieved more that season and after. We didn't build, we sold and have continued to do that each season. The rest is history. For me its Over for Fosun and its just a pity that good managers have come and then got sacked because the team is never balanced or good enough to challenge for anything barring relegation battles.
Sorry for the doom and gloom but I don't think I have ever felt so low supporting my club as now. Only one thing is important now and that's is to prepare for the Championship as we know what can happen when the club is in turmoil. UTW.

Welcome to the site Wolvesboyuk mate.
24 Oct 2025 18:02:20
Welcome Wolvesboyuk. I agree. We did lose it during the covid behind scenes games but, as you say, that was the time to invest in the squad. Instead, it was the start of making money out of us to shore up investments elsewhere.
Time for change but who’s out there who has the money and the b@lls to really invest in us and our future?
24 Oct 2025 19:14:37
Welcome to the site Wolvesboyuk and don't feel bad about posting your disappointment. I came to the same conclusion a while back and like you I'm now not sure how much of Fosun's earlier big talk was just that.
Let's not forget that under Fosun even if VP or whoever manage to pull it back and we survive the same nightmare will unfold over the course of next Summer and we'll be back in the mire next season.
