Morning all. Unfortunately we seem to be heading the same way as last season, sure we finished the previous season poorly then awful start of next, what is going on. Thought VP seemed the answer last season but now I am not so sure, inevitable after 3 losses on the bounce I guess. Big job to turn this around, remove Toti has to be a start and stop tapping the ball around in defence. Frustrating as I think many of us on here did predict this, can’t see us getting anything at Newcastle either tbh. After that I think it Leeds at home, have to win that.

We in a mess again, every year, just annoying now. Pressure will build now on VP, has to turn this around in next 3-4 games otherwise confidence gone and VP will more than likely follow.

Looks very similar to the way things went under Bruno Lage and Gary O’Neill.A good first season that fell away towards the end then a second season collapse. Probably Lopetegui saw it coming and jumped pre season. Just hope we get two or three more reinforcements in and VP can turn it around. One player not mentioned much is Andre. Something very wrong in my opinion and wouldn’t be surprised if he’s on his way. Dropped the previous week and very poor yesterday.

VP has got to make new signings blend in, keep the squad happy (I think there are signs they're not thinking in a joined up way) and produce some decent displays in the next 3-4 games. It's not done and dusted yet, and I truly believe we have the players if their heart is in it, Fer, Ricardo and Hugo lead the way in what we need. The back line don't seem to talk to each other, toti takes an age to decide where he's putting it, Agabdu is looking in circles not focusing. There's nobody to lead. We've got the r and l wb sorted, if larsen does go it maybe a blessing if this tolu arrives. Hwang is a spare man. Arias as yet to have his freedom. Munetsi is all over in a genuine sense, but we need the structure. Its a armchair managers view I know, I'm not running, kicking etc and by no means knowledgeable in how to run a team, so only a fans viewpoint, but something needs to change and I think VP would agree on that.

I'm inclined to agree Abbey, what I'm unsure about is how many games we've got to find a settled side.
