I'm unable to follow the game today via radio or TV but if we lose today, I 100% hope that at 4pm, VP is sacked.

It hasn't been pretty wandering, but a life line now from a dubious pen awarded for a kick on santi. Larsen cooly slotted the pen in.
Abit of pushing abd pulling has put some spirit into us, but we need 2/3 changes 2nd half.
Can only hope but I can't stand watching how poor we are.

Sat with a pint and I'm not sure what I want this afternoon.
A glorious 3-0 win would be ideal however what's happens if it's a dodgy 1-0 with Burnley hitting the woodwork a couple of times.
And worst case a 0-2 defeat.
If it's the first then VP stays and we march on, if it's the last VP must go.
However a dodgy win and I'd still be asking the question is VP the man.

Well that's off the card now nando. Crap start don't look as if we have any real method to the game. Soul destroying to watch at times.

No Joao in midfield gone with Bellegarde and Andre, Hoover in defence. Doesn't really matter anymore who he puts out, they all need to play better 🤞👍

Is Doc injured? Not in squad.

What a team selection, an absolute disgrace time for VP to go!

They should start calling us Wolverhampton Squanderers if this season gets any worse

Well having just seen the team, bellegarde and hoever starting, ( j gomez on bench Doc not in squad), I'm wondering, presumably gomez has a injury limiting, but Docs absence?, I hope that's injury too and not any form of bust up.
I'm not filled with confidence I have to say but will watch willing them to prove me wrong.

It's remarkable that we STILL have a chance to close the gap today considering the awful start we've had.

VP has made some shocking calls this season.

Let's see if he can pull one out the hat today.

For me, when he brought his son in as an analyst/ nepo work experience, and we start losing games, it's a bad look. His son is always on the touchline getting involved and he does not care about the results I can see it from his demeanour.

I don't like it.

For me VP needs to go and will probably lose today to a team and staff who want it more.

Hopefully today is the day we get our win or the manager goes and we can start fresh.

I do think a new manager boost will keep us up because this team is way too good for the championship.
Having said that I can't see any team in the league who is more of a candidate to go down.

Based on performances this season that is

Hope the lads were watching Brentford last night, saw the energy and commitment they put in and the overall team spirit.
If we can replicate some of that urgency in our play we'll be a far better team.
VP might take a note or two from Andrews in the tactic and substation usages too.
Not overly sure about today's game, Burnley would be expected to park the proverbial and hit us on the break, but they may well have seen our defensive frailties and decide to go for it from the start and turn the mol on itself.
Hope we go right at them, get a couple of early strikes lift the support and keep going.
VPs selection and tactics could be a defining moment in our clubs very future.
Hoping for the best, praying for the win. COYW

Didn’t see the Brentford game, however did watch Sunderland and they were very good. All of their players fully committed, chasing everything and putting Chelsea players under constant pressure. Unfortunately I have not seen the same desire from many Wolves players this season, it is past time we did. Hoping for a good performance and the result will follow 🤞

26 Oct 2025 11:46:03
To be honest Banksy spurs away was the only time we've really chased on the opposition and the subbing cost us 3 points. If we can replicate that effort and defend staunchly we should be capable of the points we need.
Brentford were in the main quick in clearing or carrying the ball upfield, something we might consider instead of the passing across and back.
Mind you if we can't fire things up for today's game then we are doomed.

26 Oct 2025 12:19:45
The Spurs game is the only 1 that I missed. You are correct though Abbeywolf if we not up for this game we never will be, hope we don’t start playing around too much in defence and move the ball much quicker. Be interesting team selection, will Hwang be back?

Ps hope 'those were the days' has seen its days and the dj as seen the error of their ways.
Hi Ho please, get the stadium bouncing again.

My score prediction for the game is 2-1 us with a cheeky Tolu chip in the last minute.
My lineup:
Johnstone
Doc Santi Krejci Hugo
Bellegarde, Andre, Joao Gomes, Rodrigo
Larsen Tolu

Can't start both strikers otherwise will have no options when we're losing at half time / need a goal late on
