Overtime at my works has stopped back to normal now.
I heard sad news foo fighters drummer has passed away.

Really looking forward to next Saturday and hoping wolves can get back amongst it by getting 3 points agaisnt the villa.

Actually Phil, I am just about to get geared up to take the bike out for a rip. These days you do feel a bit obligated to dress up like a Stormtrooper, not like back in the day. When I started riding crash helmets weren't even compulsory which would put the H&S brigade into meltdown today. Probably the last chance for a while as the weather is set to change next week, then I'm off abroad the week after.
I'm not particularly a Foo Fighters fan but nevertheless a sad loss at a fairly young age.
Lets hope we can pull off a result against Villa but tbh I'm still seething over the Leeds game and feeling a bit de-motivated about football in general. When results can be so heavily influenced by the very people that should be keeping things under control, you have to wonder, just like F1.

Get well soon Nigel, Mrs Longmynd and I are trying to avoid it as we have to take a PCR before travelling abroad in a week or so's time. A positive result would be a disaster, but coming back to the UK, nothing, no tests, no passenger locator forms, just turn up for the flight with a passport and a ticket.
Phil - Dismay is an understatement. Why was Jimenez booked (then sent off), given the goalkeeper had come out his area to tackle him.
That single decision has probably cost Wolves a place in Europe leaving the door open that bit wider for the 'so called' big six.

Longmynd, Kevin Friend according to his wikipedia entry is a Leicestershire and Rutland county football association member.
The entry goes on to say:
"In 2016, Friend was controversially prevented from officiating a Premier League match between Stoke City and title contenders Tottenham Hotspur, due to him being a supporter of fellow title challengers Leicester City.[6]"
As Phil said in a prior post Leicester can now get close to us if they win their games in hand.

Arddunby - Were they protecting the integrity of the game by avoiding possible allegations of bias, the interests of a 'top six club' or something else.
I know all fans complain if they don't get 'the rub of the green' but some of the decisions these days are farcical to say the least.

Longmynd, I don't know but in many respects VAR has shone a light onto these controversies, they've always happened and fans will always moan when it goes against them as you say, but it does seem some teams get more than a statistical probability of lucky breaks.

Phil, hi thanks for asking. Been struggling a bit with new meds so not been interested in much tbh. Hopefully be sorted soon and back to moaning on a regular basis! Saw that Jeff Shi had got his voice back after a long period of silence though I've not taken much notice of it yet. Like I said not really been bothered by much. You take care of yourself and I hope Nigel is OK soon.

Arddunby, VAR has shone a light on some of these things but for whatever reason doesn't always resolve them in a manner that fans can accept as being fair. For me the best ref's are the one's you don't particularly notice during the game.

Phil - sorry for delay in response. A lot going on and nothing good.
Mum has been in hospital and is going in again this Wedneday so i'm back on south coast for three days this week.
But have been in Burnley these last two days for mother in law - 2nd time in last couple of weeks as at 94 she is moving house, (coming south to be near her other daughter), at the end of April - highly stressful.
Just to add the tin lid my son - who has lots and lots wrong with him has had a downturn in his health again this last week and goes back into hospital on the 21st of April.
Nigel hope you are back to fighting fitness v soon, Ken fingers crossed you get these new meds sorted and make the progress you would hope for and Longmynd enjoy your hols - where are you going?

Tfiog - Sorry to hear about your troubles recently, that's a long list to deal with. I was particularly sorry to hear about your son, let's hope his forthcoming spell in hospital will lead to a positive outcome and you see his health improve.
We're just off to The Netherlands to see my son and his brood, both lads and yes both have Wolves strips.
Ken - Messing with meds can be a trial but let's hope they are getting there for you and get you back to your old self soon.

I'm so sorry for all of you, tfig you've so much on your plate, Ken I know how the meds can muck you up I'm too having problems with new tabs trying to get the balances right but my sincere best wishes and thoughts to you all and of course your son tfig I hope he'll respond well in his hospital spell.
