No Jiminez for Watford game.

NigelT

1.) 02 Sep 2021 19:36:59
Nicely explained, Nigel. This is nothing to do with injury folks but due to Wolves preventing Raul flying to a red list country and it seems that the Mexicans have taken umbrage and complained to FIFA. If he'd been allowed to travel then on return isolation requirements would mean him missing two games. You just can't win!

2.) 02 Sep 2021 20:37:55
Thanks for the clarification OW.

3.) 03 Sep 2021 19:54:07
I've heard it could be 5 games he misses but we are not alone there are many who didn't let there players go to red list areas surely common sense should prevail we should respond with he has a knock and needs time to get over it so he is currently injured every other Tom dick and Harry has In past and I'm pretty sure the players would go along with I'm carrying a knock unless of course they wanted to go we will never find that out tho.

4.) 03 Sep 2021 19:55:40
Also it ain't just Mexico that has complained the Uruguay and other South American countries have done the same I think it was 5 that have complained to fifa.

5.) 03 Sep 2021 22:09:18
It's not 5 games. If the complaint is upheld, the players would be banned from playing for the 5 days immediately after the last international game.

Sign Jiminez. please.!

NigelT

1.) 31 Jan 2019 22:46:55
Pretty sure we have first option to sign him so don't really get why people are that worried he has already said multiple times how happy he is he will still be a wolves player next season.

2.) 01 Feb 2019 07:48:30
Window now closed then
Only concern like others would be a injury to jimenez, I wouldn't want it but a injury to jota at least we have cav, Costa or troure who could fill in, but we are now, a bit light up front, nuno knows what he is doing though.

3.) 01 Feb 2019 11:39:16
Rossi still a free agent I know he’s coming back from injury but always been a good finisher Darren bent free agent might be worth just as a backup.

4.) 03 Feb 2019 08:35:46
no concerns at all about lack of signings we are safe therefore need no more at the moment. players are always overpriced in january wait until summer another 3 arrivals is my prediction.

We will finish 10th now I reckon.11th at worst

NigelT

1.) 16 May 2022 09:32:20
As long as we finish above them down the road Nigel. It'll be annoying to drop lower than 8th though.

2.) 16 May 2022 10:52:05
Well unless Brentford are getting more than 3 points a game then the worst we can finish is 10th!

3.) 16 May 2022 11:13:50
Crystal Palace can catch us Bully’s Boy

4.) 16 May 2022 11:14:15
Palace Bullysboy have 2 games left

5.) 16 May 2022 11:30:57
Fair one, looking at Palaces last two it's hard to call. Everton and United are both erratic but I reckon Everton will nick a point agaisnt um but time will tell ?

6.) 16 May 2022 12:55:21
Can't Leicester pop us as well?

7.) 16 May 2022 13:17:08
Yes and Brighton

06 May 2022 06:24:53
I'm going to Arsenal v Leeds on Sunday with my step-son gooner- stress free today and hope to see some goals.Leeds may still be in trouble.Have a few beers anyway!

NigelT

1.) 06 May 2022 07:11:21
Arsenal should win that one Nigel so here's hoping for an happy step son. Enjoy the beers either way.

2.) 06 May 2022 07:49:51
He came with me to Wolves v Leics in Feb so repaying the compliment lol

09 Apr 2022 12:29:35
A cheeky bid for Richarlison would be nice.any comments?

NigelT

1.) 09 Apr 2022 13:05:17
I’m not convinced that Jeff Shi is the best man for the job.We don’t do cheeky bids but pay over the odds and sell for less than players are worth.Clubs see us coming.

2.) 09 Apr 2022 13:28:31
Could you give some examples of letting players go on the cheap. If your referring to Jota you must remember that we paid £14m for him on a 4 year contract and then sold him years later for treble the amount we paid for him. He might be worth more now, but he wasn't when we sold him.

3.) 09 Apr 2022 13:51:57
Matt Doherty is playing for a top six club Jas M.How much are top six clubs players worth?
Pedro Goncalves slipped thru the net.
We had a good look at Vitinha and didn’t sign him he is now doing ok.
Barca want to swap Trincao for Traore so they are seeing Jeff Shi coming if he agrees to that one.
Even Ryan Bennett was let go for peanuts.
I’m sure other posters can name a few more.
Thank you for your comments on the Newcastle performance.I think you called the team pathetic even though we had a lot of injuries and some teenagers filling in?

4.) 09 Apr 2022 13:58:24
Surely Wolves have no intention of completing purchase of Trincao or Hwang. Neither knows the meaning of hard graft. Hwang scored twice in his debut and created a false impression of his ability. He is a long way from premier quality, Trincao has ability but is too lightweight. They badly need a right back and get Jonny back on the left. Playing wing backs who can't defend is ludicrous. A back three so short of pace is suicide without full backs covering. Lage was quick to berate Hoever for not training properly I hope he gave the same treatment to Trincao and Hwang for total lack of effort.

5.) 09 Apr 2022 16:15:42
Isn't hindsight wonderful. I remember the clammer of all the fans outrage when we let Goncalves go.

6.) 09 Apr 2022 16:16:50
And yes I did call the performance yesterday pathetic because it was compared to recent games.

7.) 09 Apr 2022 16:19:32
Hwang already been bought Ray mate.

8.) 09 Apr 2022 16:47:52
Thanks rko, big mistake I fear. As soon as Neto back to his best he will be surplus to requirement.

16 Mar 2022 20:57:41
Thanks Brighton!

Another 3 points in the bag

NigelT

1.) 13 Mar 2022 16:28:42
Sure is Nigel, the ability to score keep a clean sheet and if necessary grind out a 1-0 will do.
I would prefer Watford-esque performances but right now just get the points.

2.) 13 Mar 2022 16:44:31
Just got in. Take that result, how did we play guys,?

3.) 13 Mar 2022 16:49:53
Good all round display. Deserved the win but never comfortable at 1 nil. Final ball too sloppy from all concerned. Neves and mouthino won the midfield battle. Donker just an extra body. If only we had someone sharper and more positive than him. Great goal from Coads and a well deserved, valuable 3 points

4.) 13 Mar 2022 17:11:43
Greyleg
Imo first half very pedestrian second half much better sharper to the ball.
Everton played well but lacked someone to hit the back of the net.
Not the best of games to watch but wow what a header from coady quality cross/assist from neves.
We created some good moments podence his confidence high but imo should of picked out better options rather than going for goal but he did show his quality at times.
3 points so all is good I think Friday at home to Leeds I think we will play 3 up top rather than the 3 in midfield like today.

5.) 13 Mar 2022 18:03:56
If Neves played for one of the so called big 6 this season, he'd be raved about and be up for player of the season.

6.) 13 Mar 2022 19:35:04
Cheers guys,it's three points that count,sometimes you've got to win ugly,clean sheet,again,
Roll on Leeds. Can't wait.
Coyw

7.) 13 Mar 2022 19:48:04
Jas agreed on Neves, playing very very well this season. In saying that he's net alone in excellent performances so many are doing well.

Now we have players back and a decent squad I must admit feeling for both Bolt and Ait-Nouri who both were unlucky to be rested today. Also for young Luke who must be champing at the bit after his recent game.
Lovely to be be in this situation at last after so long, it was only a couple of months back when we were desperate and brought Toti in who also is deserving of more game time. A good position to be in hopefully if we manage to make a European place we will be able to give them and hopefully more a chance!

8.) 13 Mar 2022 19:56:12
Unfortunately Jas, he may well be playing for one of them next season. As much as I love him, he'll soon want to win things and we can't begrudge him that.
