C'mon Jeff get it over the line and I'll dish up the humble pie (and yes I'm happy to eat the first slice:)!? Does annoy me though, the reporter breaking it on Sky says 'if he takes to English football in the first season then we may well also be talking about him in the next transfer window'! ?
I'm not saying it's never going to happen (only the top four get that luxury) but it would be nice if they let us actually sign him before talking about his next transfer! I bet they said the same when Neves moved, well now he's got the armband! Again he may go (who knows) but he's already settled FAR better then ANY of those same journos said he would when he arrived! Such an odd time to announce but seen him in the shirt and I couldn't be happier! Five year contract with a one year option, that's a statement! There might well be a release fee in there but as long as it huge then still excellent business! Credit where its due Jeff and Scott (and probs a decent helping of Uncle Jorge) you have played a blinder! ??
