Just interested who do you think was the best footballer Pele or Maradona?
I remember Mexico 86 (aged 13) the hand of god goal and Peter Reid slow as a cart horse for Maradona's brilliant goal.
Hypothetical if VAR was about we may not of won the world cup in 66 and could of won it in 86.
Italia 90 watching us play Belgium when David Platt scored we all thought it was bully, drinks ash tray you name it everything went flying up in the air.
Villa pipped us to the signing of Platt who knows what would of happened if we had got him.
Wolverhampton is in the highest risk tier so for the time being no fans at the mol.
Things could change and at least the government is starting to get football on the way back to normal.
It may take time but there's a light at the end of the tunnel.
Where there is a will there is always a way.

1 Maradona
2 Pele
3 George Best.
As the saying goes - No one player is bigger than the team, except Maradona.
George Best was a Wolves fan too.

First off, wishing Mike Bailey and his family best wishes.
Secondly, only in my opinion, but I always felt Maradona was overrated.

SQ I remember the conversation with my dad years ago, my dads opinion was that pele was the complete footballer brilliant at everything and that's why my dad thought pele was the greatest.
Also my dad told me how really good George Best was.

Hi All, George Best came to Wolves on trial, Stan Cullis sent him back said he was not big enough, hence he was a Wolves fan.
Pele will always be the greatest, a gentleman on and off the field, makes you wonder what he could have done with the different ball we have today.
