Reading that Boly and Saiss will be missing next year for a month in the delayed African cup of nations, Nuno is talking about that so to me that clearly shows 1 his intentions are not to walk away and 2 fosun aren't getting rid.

The plan with nuno as head coach will remain I can't see anything different.

My view of course.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey Phil, I'm hoping your assumption is correct! this 'Nuno out! " is a lot of BS. A list of speculated managers with availability did not fill me with confidence at all. Nuno is learning on the job to a degree - I'm hoping this season's mistakes are learnt from and addressed.

Nuno for me has been a breath of fresh air not only to Wolves but to the PL - such a humble guy, doesn't make anything about him it's always about the collective, not the individual.

I did have a moan about his "we must find solutions" comment, but that is/ was born out of frustration and defensive issues not being addressed.

Agree with both of you Phil and Debbie. To a degree Nuno is a victim of his own success in previous seasons raising expectations that after 2 seasons in the Premier League we deserve to be a top 6 club.

It's a season of transition hit by some bad luck and peculiar circumstances, with a couple of signings not working out as hoped. Find me a manager or a club who have a 100% success rate with transfers. I don't like to criticise the board as they have invested a lot, but it has to be in our minds that before Nuno they did appoint Zenga and Lambert. If they did get rid of Nuno whoever comes in could end up taking the club backwards - the fans don't get to choose the manager.

Nuno deserves time with the fans in the ground backing the team and I really hope he is given it.

Hey Debbie your posts I read and enjoy everyone of them and never have ever thought you are a non believer in fosun and nuno.
I do agree it's a learning process.
I'm sure we will have our day and look back in time to the bad old days of the c. v. and this poor season.
Alex you the same a believer like debbie and myself.

Look back through history and all managers have signed players that haven't worked out and I looked at this jose guy and thought yeah he'll do me but I was wrong. I looked at the kid silva and thought no no no. but I've changed my mind on him cus he's going to be a gud un. My mates a red and he says solskaer was just the same . And look what a player he turned out to be. there was also a guy we signed from bpa and I remember fans saying this guy ain't got it. a certain kenny hibbit thought otherwise. Nuno has probably learned a lesson this season and I really can't see him giving up or making the same mistakes and if he goes it will be the sack cus think what you want but he loves this club and unless we want a Bruce or allardyce down here then let's get behind him. Cus we am wolves ay we.

Lexluna, People say we need an attacking midfielder. I mentioned the 5 or 6 that Nuno has had access to but apparently doesn't like or trust or DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH.
Add to that the strikers that he didn't like who have a lot of potential.
Add to that that he doesn't know what to do with Traore and will sell him so we forget that Nuno doesn't know how to change his system to adapt to anything that wasn't in the book he read about coaching counter-attacking football.

Nuno is TOO inflexible and set in his ways to adapt to coaching attacking possession based football.

Plus he has his favourites who are mostly from Portugal.

Debbie, how much confidence did you have when Nuno was appointed and why? I'd never heard of him.

I have been watching Wolves since the 70's under Nuno I have enjoyed the best polished skilful exciting football I have ever seen at the Mol.

Troubled waters, yep, oddest season ever yep.

Nuno gets my vote of confidence, he's earned it, I would not judge any manager on this season would be madness.

Timmy T, you must live in a cocoon. Manager of two of Europe's biggest clubs (Porto and Valencia) and you'd never heard of him?

Alex is right we got 7th after promotion and when we got 7th again people were saying he has to go

This season has been hard especially with the injuries but we could still have about 50 points at the end

Nuno does his best and I like his style and which PL manager who would come to us would we want instead?
