Chiquinho and Trincao made a massive difference today. Neto was good but clearly needs a full pre season behind him. Jimenez holds the ball up well but we need a clinical finisher. Chelsea's penalty was fortunate as the initial contact by Saiss was outside the area but in all honesty, he shouldn't have been trying to shepard the ball out in that position. Their 2nd goal was from a lucky ricochet.
Dendoncker, RAN and Trincao all had good chances.
This was a very much improved performance compared to the last 3 games.
Get the right players in to strengthen the squad and we will soar.

A fantastic goal for one and suberb cross to claim the assist for the other. Even I can't argue that! ?Such a shame Trincao didn't just roll that one on one into the corner. Over the course of the game the result flattered Chelsea! ?

One thing I would say for the pen was although I thought it was obvious the ref didn't initially blow. Was it a 'clear and obvious' mistake? Not if its in the other end it ain't! ?

The ref went to the touchline screen at first I thought it was a dive but watching it again saiss did make contact before Lukaka went over.
Coady at fault for their second terribly over hit pass no one on the planet would of controlled that pass at the speed and how hard coady hit it.
But 2 really good goals got us a result.

If only we could finish in first half we could have won that by 3-4, its a heart thing I know but I'm confident about city match now we may have a bit of freedom about us, some confidence that will surprise them. Really looking forward to it. COYW.

I thought there was a shout for Lukaku bundling Saiss over, but Saiss has got to learn not to be so stupid. Much better performance this week though
