Typo sorry,

Start again,

There are 8 football clubs in the current Premier league who all have the same difference from the other 12 clubs.

I ask,

What is this difference?

Agree0 Disagree0

Lost 5 matches?

Not the answer to my question Arddunby.

I asked work colleagues they don't know the answer.

26 Nov 2021 11:34:23
Hi phil,
Could it be, that 8 clubs have never been relagated, since they have been in the premier league.

26 Nov 2021 11:53:21
Tricky one Phil. I'll throw in a stab that 8 of the existing premier league teams have played over 1,000 premier league fixtures since the league began in 1992, whereas the other 12 have played less than 1,000 premier league games.

Hi Sir Tatton,
It's not that mate.

I'm just getting ready to knock off work and told my work colleagues the answer one of them said no one would ever get that.lol

Is it that I have visited 8 of the current Premier League grounds over the years, but not the other 12. That's actually true. ???

26 Nov 2021 12:54:49
Not that Alex,

Longmynd you're warm.?

26 Nov 2021 13:32:10
Last attempt from me - Is it that 8 teams don't play at their "original" grounds anymore. Man City (Main Rd), West Ham (Boleyn Ground), Arsenal (Highbury), Tottenham (White Hart Ln), Brighton (Withdean Arena?), Leicester (Filbert St), Southampton (The Dell), and Brentford (Griffin Park).

26 Nov 2021 13:34:04
8 teams are still in the same location since the Premier League was formed whilst 12 have moved to new stadia locations (Spurs built a new stadium on the same site so didn't move technically)?

26 Nov 2021 14:03:24
Alex statto you correct.

Take a bow my friends.

26 Nov 2021 14:47:56
That was a good one Phil - thanks for sharing it with us. A fun bit of trivia is always good especially when there's not much else happening.

I think Brighton was the goldstone ground, not sure if it was known by any other name.

26 Nov 2021 15:34:43
Alex was waiting for someone to tell you Brighton old ground it was the Goldstone Ground.

My bro and I been there filbert Street and maine Road
My bro been to Upton Park (boleyn) but I haven't.

Lol my bro has swimming class from the hospital with his recovery and he told me as there is a cockney west ham fan living up here in the swimming class when my bro walking round the pool he shouted we're forever bursting bubbles.?

Maine Road scary outside ground all mixed fans with alleys and terraced housing just like coronation Street on tele.
When I went we won 1 nil Bully.

Oh how I adored and worshipped bully.

Thanks Arddunby - I really wasn't sure about that one. Looked it up and Withdean was their temporary ground but they were in it for about 12 years after they sold the Goldstone Ground.

Arddunby your post wasn't on my screen when I posted my last post.

Alex your post too,
Cheers Alex ?

Was the the withdean Wigan?

26 Nov 2021 17:04:27
Phil, Wigan's old ground was Springfield Park the new one the DW was built on Robin Park. That development destroyed a large area of junior football pitches that both my son's have played on a various times. Lot of protest at the time to no avail never to be replaced. I think they call it progress!

26 Nov 2021 17:09:26
Brighton played at Goldstone Ground and temporarily at Withdean Stadium.

26 Nov 2021 18:14:14
Cheers Ken.
