What a difference a goal makes. Happy with that win, a noticeable reduction in tension in the posts. Surely we can now start to put this season behind us and plan for the next, we'll done Wolves.

Agree0 Disagree0

Let's go out on a high and start scoring a few goals. put Sheff u and Burnley to the sword!

Drab but durable performance-Excellent result! I think and agree with Ed's analysis on Traore-too in and out-but what do you do when a player comes up with a moment like that?! . Just doesn't happen enough. I would go further with Ed's observations on Neto-his performance levels have waned since his super goal against Southampton and his attitude, unfortunately, leaves me to believe he wants out for a big money move. Curiously, I felt we looked better balanced once he had gone off-but for the rest of the season would admit that we can't afford to lose his pace. Saiss, Coady and Dendoncker very good, Samedo has got to stop losing his runner on the flank and Saiss is NOT a taker of free kicks in great positions!

Yes yes yes Nigel I go along with that.
Our last 3 goals we have scored have all been quality many many more in the 2 matches you mention Nigel.

Would be nice to get our -10 goal difference close to 0,
Going to take a big turnaround as only scored 3 goals in one match this season once.
But it not impossible to thump sheff and Burnley by 3 or 4.
COYW.

Totally agree. I think netto has been tapped up already cu that's what the tooth fairy did at pool to get jota.

{Ed001's Note - no he didn't. Jota was not even planned, so why would he have been tapped up in advance? Utter nonsense. Jota came about because other targets fell through and Klopp was determined to get someone to push/replace the front three, so turned to Jota. Wolves had asked about Hoever and so a deal was easy to sort out.}

I agree Ed 0001
I think Neto has dropped but probably due to a niggle of an injury. If you noted when he went down his knee was already plastered for support.
Been a bad season for injuries!

{Ed001's Note - it always was going to be a problem with so many games in such a short space of time.}

Ed. Klopp has history of doing it mate. How much you prepared to wager. it was a deal to suit pool and jota. funny how jota played not to get injured before he went. You have your opinion and I have mine but they need to pay for him now as we also need players and jotas money is sitting in pool's bank.

{Ed001's Note - yes, yours is an uninformed opinion. I agree Klopp has a history of it and I have regularly complained about it on the Liverpool site, but not every move requires tapping up. Sometimes players are desperate to join and there is not a lot of competition for the signing, along with a team happy to sell.

I think you need to learn about transfers, there is almost never a transfer fee that is paid in full up front, almost all are paid over the course of a number of seasons, which is why teams often sell the 'debt' on, like Liverpool did with Coutinho's transfer to Barcelona. If Wolves were that desperate for cash right now, they would do the same thing.}

I may be wrong but it looked like Neto was pissed off with Willian, my guess is they don't get on
Just my opinion.

I don't need to learn anything Ed. klopp and jota were photograped by a west brom fan lorry driver at services on my the guy lives by us and delighted in showing a few wolves fans the pic. 4 weeks later he's a red. And how about a young kid we had by name of alun evans that went to you. Before klopp time but same thing happened. Ed mate don't think I don't know anything about my club and what goes on. Steve Daley to man City I knew 2 months before and I'm still mates with Steve. But if you don't believe what I'm saying try and contact Steve bull and he'll help you out. if its any thing to you I think jota will help you win the title next season.

{Ed001's Note - Liverpool were after Sarr from Watford, then Traore from you. Wolves were the ones to put Jota forward. Klopp then spoke to him and he was looking to leave (hence why Wolves put him forward) and was very keen to join Liverpool. The two clubs then spent ages trying to hammer out a deal as Liverpool had no cash to put as a down payment, but Wolves were keen and had been trying to sign Hoever anyway. You do realise that teams can talk to players without it being tapping up if the other club gives permission right? I think you believe Wolves were desperately trying to keep Jota, which is not the case.

What the hell is Alun Evans to do with anything? I know these things happen, I have already said that. My point was that it is not always the case.}

10 Apr 2021 12:25:55
How much did we pay for Neto?

10 Apr 2021 13:41:43
Neto was part of a double deal with Jordao £20million for both Pedro mate.

10 Apr 2021 13:56:20
How do you work that out. jota was on the team sheet the week before. Its common knowledge with well informed wolves fans that he received a message from the klopp the morning of the match and was withdrawn. Why would he be on team sheet if it was all above board. It goes on everywhere as we did with patricio but I'm not denying it one bit.

{Ed001's Note - because the deal hadn't been done. It happens a lot before a move. Even this season West Brom had a similar situation. Nuno is not involved in transfers all that closely.}

10 Apr 2021 14:26:35
Jota wanted to go end off he is history we've moved on.

11 Apr 2021 01:53:15
Yes rated but my opinion is not directed at you is it. I'm making a point of discussion at someone else and not you.

Lexluna noticed you mentioned
Alun Evans in your previous post, good player. I once played against him in a trial for Worcestershire County schoolboys, both trying for inside right position. Needless to say I came second. He later joined Wolves and when sold to Liverpool became the first £100,000 teenager. He later scored a hatrick in one of their European games.
