I can't say on here what Mike Dean is but it ryhmes with banker.
A few times he has cost us this season.
I'm not annoyed at Burnley, i'm not annoyed at nuno or Wolves, I am however annoyed with Mike Dean and the gutless fool at VAR.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm really confused about this, it's actually kept me up last night!
So if Doc keeps his arms down he gets a free kick against Wood for dangerous play but if he does the natural reaction and protects his face he gets a penalty given against him.

I would love to hear the premier league explanation of this, because if it means a player has to suffer a head injury before commonsense comes into play, surely that means they are actually encouraging possible life changing injuries to players?

Agreed, a bad decision. The dangerous play preceded the handball.

Nuno to be praised for his bold changes to starting line up but another last minute goal conceded. Mike Dean is a j arthur (er)

It seems the powers that be are doing everything in their power to ensure only so called top 6 clubs qualify for the Champions League. Had we have won last night as we we had a real chance of finishing 4th considering who Leicester have still to play and Chelsea having to play Liverpool next then us on the final day in what would have been a winner takes all game. If we failed to qualify based on our game play, I could take that but for it to be decided by an utterly ludicrous decision by a ref and then backed up by VAR who have never overruled the ref is something that has really annoyed me.

They ruined the game when they took intent away from handball. It was deliberate handball or accidental, what was difficult about that?

Totally agree with all the comments above, the dangerous play occurred before any other 'infringement' and should have been our free kick. Wolves aren't so marketable TV wise and thay don't want us crashing their party. Another gripe tho, anyone else peed off with BBC coverage? Spread across 2 channels, poor camera work views of Burnley and the cricket club, constant fixed images of Burnley players whilst game in play. The replays over ongoing action and that bloody logo every time they went back or forth. The commentary not conducive to the game. By far the worst coverage I've watched and the crisp man getting £s to present.

The coverage was shocking totally agree.
I have said this before media organisations are elitist and biased and I have always believed that the BBC in particular are the worst culprits. In terms of football coverage they possess biased journalists just out of nappies who have no concept of the origins and history of the game. Their editorial and production staff are equally biased and elitist.

A lot of hope went at the end of that match

Qualifying for Europa going to be a struggle now let alone the CL.

The thing is if that pen had been given against one of the 'big teams' we'd have had HOURS of sky pundits dissecting it and saying how awful VAR is! But cause it happens to little old us all the media haven't even mentioned how ridiculous it was, so shamefully transparent! 😡.

To make matters worse looks like Vile are staying up.

Can't disagree with what has been posted above.

We have had some very bad calls this year, but we have to admit we need more firepower to convert draws into wins. We rely too much on Jimenez, not only for his goals but the ability to hold play up and harass defenders. We have a tendency to change players with 10-15 mins left when we don't need to.
Fingers crossed VAR will be more tolerable next year and we can keep hold of Jimenez and add a worthy partner/ back up
Looking forward to the last few games and next year.

Podence looks useful Camo he is fast and tricksy I can't see another striker coming in unless Jota or Jiminez goes

I am expecting a midfield shake up and another CB.

WindowWolf I agree, CB is a must. 1 more quality striker and a creative midfielder would be great, if we can be greedy.
