Well that was a thumping thing is we weren't that bad.
City were just on another level, it shows how far apart we are from City and Liverpool.

Man City you have to take your hats off to them could of easily been double figures.
But we kept going to the end.
Easy to say our defence was poor but City were light years away absolutely played at their very best.

I only get to see a live match occasionally and I thought we were poor. Mainly due to a lack of energy. We know from past games against City you have to get in their faces from the off and not let them settle into a rythmn. Wolves did non of that last night, If you let them play, they will.
The lack of a meaningful plan was evident, hence the ridiculous number of back passes as players seemed at a loss of how to move the ball forward other than via the odd counter attack. As I've posted before, in general, we should be reasonably happy with this season overall but, in truth, this team has become a shadow of its former self. Time to act Fosun.

Phil, it's like not seeing the Grandkids for months and then being shocked how much they've grown. I was shocked how much Wolves had deteriorated since I last saw them live. I'm sure Wolves were playing better prior to the recent collapse in form which hopefully, Fosun will address this summer.
City are playing very well, no doubt, but barring the goal we didn't lay a glove on them. Sorry, but for some suggest that a team that lost 5-1 played well, is beyond me.
