We know that Traore is under contract until 2023 but John Ruddy, Fernando Marcal, Romain Saiss and Joao Moutinho are all out of contract at the end of the season.
Who should we retain and who should we let go, any thoughts?

Ruddy will go as Sondergard and Sarkic will step up to the back up keeper role. Marcal will leave as he'll be 33 years old and we'll have Jonny and Ait Nouri. Joao Moutinho will probably move back to Portugal for a season before retiring. Saiss will sign a one year extension.

Keep Ruddy as he may have the right credentials to move on to the back room team if he wants to. Same with Moutinho if he's willing to take a pay cut, but manage his minutes better. Keep Saiss because he's a useful squad player and could still have some sell on value. Release Marcal. Good player, but injury prone and only paid a small fee for him in the first place.

I think Moutinho has said he plans to move into management at some point. Not sure about Ruddy as Wolves seem well covered in goal keeper coaching, maybe a different role, or he goes back to Norwich which he has expressed a desire to do eventually. For me, definitely keep Saiss for a further year leaving Marcal who for the reasons you state AlexWolf/JasM will surely become surplus to requirements.

I think also that this season is massive for the players out on loan such as Bolla, Giles, Sanderson, Marques, Gibbs White, Matheson, Ronan, Corbeanu and Campana. If they do well, Lage may introduce them to the 1st team, if not, they'll be moved on.

Sanderson seems OK and not injured.
He is doing well at Birmingham as is Sarkic'.
I think these 2 along with MGW are out of the loan pkayers you mention Jas are the most likely to be retained for 1st team.
Marques think needs another season or 2 out on loan I read on here when posters had watched him in the u23's they were very impressed.
If we can get a result same as how kilman has developed as originally he was bought for the u23's that would be marvellous.
Like to say my full respect for Ruddy he is a model professional an excellent top notch goalkeeper and when the time comes for him to depart I will be sad to see him go but will wish him all the best and a massive thankyou.
Marcal I see he will be gone saiss and mouthino I am 50/50.

My Birmingham fan work colleague has just told me Sanderson is a doubt for tomorrow lol I have been asking him all week I think its jealousy as to why he has ignored me about my question to him.
