Mr Lage took over the biggest Club in Portugal halfway through the season and won the League, the following season he managed to equal Benfica’s worst ever run of results ( 2 wins in 13 games) left his job, didn’t work for twelve months and was considered the best option to take over a Premier League Club that had slipped into the bottom half of the table and whose squad was in desperate need of three or four quality players being brought in to stand any chance of getting back on track. If it turns out to have been the wrong appointment (again) whoever’s making the biggest decisions at the Club should be shown the door at the same time.

Ron, I think Fosun will give it another month or two and act if results aren't forthcoming. Shi has said, recently, that Wolves are in the Premier League to stay this time, implying it's results, not performances that matter, however, both would be nice.
I think the failure to attract the 3-4 quality players is as puzzling as it is frustrating, it can't all be bad luck. can it?

Didn't Lage come out and say that it was his decision not to buy any old player. He only wanted players that would improve the 1st team.
We had an off day against a very organised Brentford team. No need to panic.

I agree that it is not a time to panic Jas but surely Bruno can see saiss and marcal are both a accident waiting to happen near enough every game.
For me, Boly and RAN should be bought in for tonight's game and go full pelt at spurs, confidence will only come from wins and we need to start tonight.

Now that Boly and Mosquera are fit, Lage has options which he didn't have a few weeks ago.
