Biggest question has to be, why are the biggest Clubs in the Premier League targeting Wolves, offering below market value for International players who are under contract and being encouraged to do so. Does no one at the Club know that if you’ve got a player who another Club is interested in and are in direct competition with for a place in the top half of the table, then it’s YOU who sets a figure to start talking at not THEM. If this is allowed to continue there’s something drastically wrong and will only end one way, we all know what that is, most of us have seen it all before.

I don't think Fosun know anything about business and how it works Oxley. The £79b empire was a complete fluke.

Players tell agents they want a move, are unsettled when managers go, they want more money etc etc.
We are fortunate that most are on long contracts so we have a big say in it. Though tbf players have a lot of power these days and its pointless keeping unhappy ones.
Lage has a job to do and a very big one as I see it! With Fosun he has one go at getting it right! Let's hope he does!
If he wants to play 4-4-2 then its an even bigger job, what does he do with Coady with his new big contract? He's not really a centre half as much as I love him as the heartbeat of the club. Maybe make him midfield at the back of a diamond, I don't know. Loads more big questions to be answered. Glad its not me who has to sort it out. Much as I love my ten pence worth!

Ken - some good points and I may get shot down for this, but if there is more to Neves leaving than clickbait, what if Coady took Neves' role in the team and an additional centre back was signed instead? Neves did a lot of the dirty work in terms of winning back the ball from the opposition and trying to get an attack started. With Coady's ability to read the game, his passing range and his defensive awareness he could probably do a job back in the middle and chip in with the odd goal too being further up the pitch. Something tells me for all his experience in the back line, he would be a different beast in midfield to what he was pre Nuno in the championship.

Jas M ; Football is like no other business and Fosun certainly didn’t build their empire by investing in football Clubs, pretty sure if they bought a super yacht their next move would be to employ a Captain to sail it, or maybe Jeff could do that as well.
