Itv4 this morning 10.30am wolves v Aston villa 1979 on The big match revisited.
I was 6 years old in 79 but would of been 5 years old at the time of the match.
I don't know the result so will wait and see,

I think semado has improved
And Jonny has made a difference

Good thread - good analysis.
John Richards would have scored bucket loads of goals in this side. Really good player - v unlucky not to get more England caps but it was harder then - only 1 sub and far fewer fixtures.
Plus the top division would have literally a couple of hundred + Englishmen playing in it. Now?

Not much service Bull. richards. raul dougan. & I could go on will say if I stand still I'm easy to mark and I'm not getting any bits and pieces that drop round the box. imagine steve bull playing like that he wouldn't have reached 100 goals . jose is idle and now we're safe I'd persevere with the kid.
