Had a great evening with my brother, enjoyed our tea together and enjoyed the match and the stunning strike from mouthino.
Was very nervous of the outcome at the start of the match, thought Neto didn't track back enough and left kilman on his own a lot. semedo mistakes for their goal but thought semedo played well other than the mistakes for their goal.
To me it doesn't matter we played against 9 men what matters is the 3 points.
What was their goalkeeper thinking?
We were both laughing our heads off.

Phil - delighted you and your bro enjoyed a convivial eve and obviously that Wolves did their bit!
Watched game with my son we had a v v nice shop bought Chicken Kiev with (my home made) pickled red cabbage, carrots and some (shop bought) fancy spuds - sliced in a creamy sauce.
Home made bread! and home made blackberry crumble - I picked them last autumn.
ratings in the morning.
Will also discuss the game in 3 sections. First 15-20 abysmal, rest of first half ok, 2nd half good.
Calm again now but was really struggling after first 15 mins.
Just one rant - Why are we so unfit/ slow.
I was a rubbish footballer but played Rugby and could run, (11.1 100m pb), so perhaps over emphasise strength and athleticism a bit but we have so many slow/ unfit players that we are very vulnerable defensively when we move away from the slow static style we played last year.
We must focus on signing better athletes and training harder- why can't we run? Leeds run for 90mins we struggle to play flat out for more than 20 mis at a time.

Too much to hope for that Leicester have two players sent off, but you never know. Failing that, let's hope the win and 3 points, and not the way we got them, is the overriding factor in getting the players ready to beat The Foxes. Football is fine margins as we all know. After the Chelsea game we thought maybe that was an opportunity to push on. We didn't take that opportunity. We've been given another one today. Let's hope we can take it. We can't expect to win every match, but I think a more positive, fearless display against Leicester will give us all some hope, players included.

SQ much better with attempts on goal semedo decent effort thought their goalie shouldn't of spilled it but was expecting to see a wolves player anticipate for a tap in.
But we didn't score the 3 goals so you were correct in that.
Just saw the man utd score Les Buxton thought of you and envisage you are going to be hearing all the crowing from the utd fans in your area. Southampton did have their first player sent off in the second minute though.
Palace came fro a goal down to win and go back above us in the table.
Will be looking to see how fulham get on with 2 games in hand. I don't think we will be close to the bottom 3 but it's in back of my mind as our form shows, I think that's understandable.
Just wanted also to say I don't understand the faith lost in nuno by a few certain posters, I can only think its through frustration.
3 or 4 years ago we wouldn't of dreamed of having the squad of players we have right through to the youth signings. Nuno the best manager in multiple decades this must lead to loyalty. I understand it's a results business but we are far better off keeping nuno than replacing him imo.

Don't get carried away, Arsenal were all over us until they had a player sent off. Wolves still need to improve; the defence and midfield need to step up against Leicester. Very happy with 3 points though.

You correct Melo we do still need improve I'm fully aware not to get carried away but until the Leicester game I'm enjoying the winning feeling.
I will be nervous when the Leicester games starts as it's too unpredictable to how we will play.

Trouble is when you are struggling, you are not just going to turn on a five star performance-its always going to be scrappy. But we just don't help ourselves. I am not Samedo bashing-but why is he playing-going forward great, but defensively he is sadly lacking. Kilman was dreadful on the other side, but that's the manager's fault.

With 4 defenders out the defence seens more of a problem than the lack of goalscoring. Until Johnny Otto is back and we can get two balanced wing backs into the game (our attacks over the last 2 seasons have used the flanks cosiderably) I fear we will struggle. Semedo is having to play on both sides as need dictates to cover for injuries and inexperience of other players. Just hoping we don't run out of games as they are coming thick and fast. Normally January would probably only hold 2 league games with 2 FA cup rounds as well, and February is usually light with a weekend FA cup round to, not so this time. The teams that succeed this season will be injury free with large squads more than ever before.

The only other option I can see nuno had last night for left back was to of played semedo left back and hoever right back, I think nuno thought hoever was the least best option out of the 2 he had.
