Sorry Coady should be nowhere near the team. He was great in the championship but honestly since we’ve stepped up to the premiership he is nowhere near the standard we need. I don’t get this blind faith and love of Coady just because he sets a good professional example and is loud. It’s not about how loud you shout, it’s about ability, strength, power and dominating the attacking players if the opposition, which he just can’t do. A premier league centre back he ain’t. Can’t defend for toffee and by definition he is a defender.

There needs to be changes for the Fulham game formation wise
We should be beating them to be honest. I expected at least a draw last night. But it's quite clear nunos formation isn't working.
If we were to lose against Fulham.

We would be a lot worse without Coady unless we played a different system. He’s the modern day sweeper. His job is to try and cover PatrÃcio who rarely comes off his line and organise the 5 man defence. He should have 2 centre backs and 2 wing backs or others dropping in capable of clearing up. He’s then there to pick out those long range passes. (imagine us without those passes) Its easy picking out players when we play terrible but last night the whole team let us down.

Raul needs to stay up front and stop dropping back to deep Traore with his pace should but fear into defenders with his pace alone Podence from what I’ve seen needs to play as our playmaker as we aren’t creating anything at the minute a bit harsh on Neto but I think he’s more like f a impact sub at the minute.
I would personally like to see wolves sign a lwb like telles but can’t see it Nuno is stubborn with his formation.

I think that gives us balance and the ability to get between the lines. Hoever and Semedo can have licence to be our wide threat. I'm not a total doom and gloom merchant but Vinagre has to go for me but only if he can be replaced. UTW.

So MattWolf, your suggestion to sort out this defensive mess is to play either Semedo or Hoever on the left hand side of defence/ midfield when they are right sided defenders? Why not play Vinagre there then who is naturally left sided?

Because Vinagre has been gash for a long time. Jonny is right footed and done a great job for us on the left. I agree with a lot of what you say Jas but for me Vinagre isn't up to it. I feel in both systems our back 3 is improved and can make allowances for minor (I hope) mistakes Hoever should make.

What worries me, when you spend millions on players and play like we have, then there is no hiding place, Nuno as to get them on the training ground and get it right, because to cut it bluntly the performances against Stoke, Man. City first half and West Ham is unacceptable.
Goals, creativity and defending are definately missing at the
Moment but Nuno I hope will get it right, also there are a few days left to get some players in defender and a striker for me.
