Why take a risk on a player who you don't know the outcome of when you could get someone else who has the right attitude and you know will do the business. Norwich won't have just ignored him for know reason. As for the Everton comparison of Lukaku he's already been loaned out to the baggied and dine the business for them. Not getting into the Chelsea team and not getting into the Norwhich team is a completely different kettle of fish. I just believe there's better alternatives out there so why settle for second best?

Just read it on here greylegwolf. Makes sense us getting another left back in. Looks like will be used as cover for barry douglas. Obviously phillip heise deal fell through for £3 million so money saved there and now left back spots covered.

I said all along we need to look at nelson oliveira and i hope we do snap him up. he's been a portuguese international, very comfortable and skilfull with both feet, good in the air and has proven in the championship he can score goals.
Would be a fantastic signing and with our new formation coupled with passing to feet he would be a step up from jon dadi bodvarsson.
Although i thought he gave his all when he played he lacked the end product. Oliveira will score regular.

The assessment of each club’s finances is a combination of a historic assessment (looking at figures for the two previous completed season) and an assessment over the season currently taking place
The last point is particularly significant; in addition to historic account information about past seasons, clubs now have to submit a financial projection for the season that is still taking place. All the information has to be with the Football League by the 1 March. The Football League have confirmed that they are aiming to have any punishments announced before the end of the season.

This season (2016/ 17) new FFP rules come in to operation in the Championship for the first time, clubs will be assessed over 3 seasons (rather than just a single season) . Championship clubs will be allowed to lose an average of £13m a season over three years meaning we can lose up to 39M before any FFP rules are broken . So if I’m reading these rules right then we will need to be balancing our books by the end of season 2018/ 19 so that gives us a good couple of years to have a real go at getting back into the premiership . So come on big Jeff get the check book out again and get us a couple of top forwards and let's p*ss this championship. UTW.

I have said before that with the right players i dont see why Wolves cannot mount a serious challenge for promotion as the other than Villa, who have done well in bringing in Terry, Whelan & Elmohamady all experienced players that will certainly make a real difference and Boro who have a good manager in Monk and have also signed well you will get the usually suspects in Reading, Sheffield Wed, possibly Leeds, Norwich & Derby competing but i strongly believe Wolves with the right players can gain promotion.}

I'm happy so far Dappa but we def need quality strikers are lot are average at best. And let's face it if u want to be successful as a football club the spending never stops! Ask man city, Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea Arsenal etc etc etc! Multi millionaire owners are bein left behind by the billionaires!
