After watching the city match all i can say is our beloved club has finally risen from the ashes and now will be talked about in a very positive light instead of jealousy amongst other clubs fans . The way we played against villa was the best team performance I've ever seen us play. Johan cruyff would have loved it if it was holland. Against man city it was a defensive masterclass on how to keep your shape, discipline and above all concentration for not only 90 minutes but 120 minutes.
Only have one word to describe this wolves team/ squad and above all our manager nuno god santo WOW!

Only gripe i have is that we've now shown other teams how its done against arguably one of the best club sides in europe which ain't good for me as my dream teams littered with city players and i'm top at work pmsl.

Finally enobakhare has come of age with that performance for me, he absolutely tore a £32 million defender mangala apart. Yes it was a pity he couldn't take any of his chances but at the age of 19 running the line alone showed what an exceptional player we have. He will be unstoppable if our great manager and coaches give him the belief in himself.

FOSUN must be so happy in what they have achieved so far, its been too long of false dawns and under achievement but finally

1.) 25 Oct 2017 15:54:06
fully agree.

Lets hope this achievement can now be topped by dominating the Championship through to promotion in May. I hope that Fosun will see that continued investment will be required and that the opportunity to build a Premier club can start with the January transfer window. I think an additional high quality striker is required and possibly a creative midfielder plus a full back. Gets these bedded in before next season.

I think Marshall, Price, Bennett and Zyro might leave in Jan as I don't think they have Premier quality.

I think Bright would benefit from a loan spell in Div 1 to get some shooting practice. Alternatively Nuno continues his development off the bench.

Also how about completing the stadium redevelopment plan.

We are emerging from the darkness.

2.) 25 Oct 2017 17:51:20
Sorry to burst your bubble lads but we didn't play well. Man City played poorly because of the football used. Only joking. We were awesome and every single player deserves high praise.

On another note, if we and Norwich made 2 Subs in extra time, it's guaranteed that we would have been thrown out as we breached the rules. They were never going to find Man City or Arsenal guilty.

3.) 25 Oct 2017 20:31:52
What pepe didn't realise was were went used to that ball either!

4.) 25 Oct 2017 21:42:45
What a great team performance last night well done the boys and well done Nuno. The most disappointing thing about the game was the Man city fans quiet as church mice all game I remember going to main road in the 90s and the Kippax stand used to be rocking one of the most intimidating grounds in the country. Now it seems they've turned into man utd over night expecting to win leaving 10 minutes before the final whistle and moaning about every single thing that doesn't go there way it didn't take them long to forget where they come from did it. I just hope all us wolves fans don't forget where we've come from because I'm telling you now the good times are on there way 100%. I've been a wolves fan for 37 years and I've never seen a wolves team like this and I'd argue with any fan who says we've had a better team/ manager in the last 37 years than what we have now. IN NUNO WE TRUST UTW.

5.) 26 Oct 2017 07:27:31
Here here fella got to ba a similar age to yourself and I totally agree 👍.

6.) 27 Oct 2017 22:42:52
The one thing PEP got right on the night was the match ball, as they scord all there penalties.

31 Aug 2017 23:58:45
Wolves have signed alfred n'diaye from villareal on a season long loan.
welcome to wolves alfred.

Just watched a YouTube video of the lad, I'd rather stick with Saiss! 5 minutes of clips showing square passes long hoofed balls that went staring to the opposition and the odd tackle! I cut it short half way through! Unless I'm mistaken, is it the same N'Daiye who played for hull? Apologies if I'm wrong!

2.) 01 Sep 2017 06:03:37
Will we lose him and Saiss for January so they can play in the African cup.

3.) 01 Sep 2017 06:22:01
No because:

1: Next tournament is in 2019.
2: It's played in June/ July. The last tournament was the last to be played mud season.

4.) 01 Sep 2017 06:22:31

5.) 01 Sep 2017 06:52:49
At least we've got new lyrics to an old song.

6.) 01 Sep 2017 07:58:45
I'll check with my mate about N'diaye, he's a Blunderland supporter and will remember when he played for them! I don't know squat about him!

I have agreed with Nuno's tactic of building from the back, but always felt as much priority should have been given to the front! Well it wasn't, my gut says it will likely cost us. Hope I'm wrong big time. ⚽️😉👍.

7.) 01 Sep 2017 08:52:04
Well I'm glad that's over I know we didn't get a Forward in but I Don't think we can moan to much can we? Fosun have back our manager 100% this summer in a way we could only dream of two years ago. As for the ITK army you know FA and the my source said guys well the only sauces you've got are red and brown at least now the bull will stop and we can all get with supporting our great team, guys will be fine. IN NUNO WE TRUST.

8.) 01 Sep 2017 09:30:06
I'm disappointed a striker wasn't signed. Albeit I felt all options were either too expensive (even for us) or hadn't shown enough to make me feel confident that they would score 20 goals. Burnley signed wells which just stinks of desperation IMO. I also felt we could have got renato Sanches but premier league football was to tempting.
However with a front three of jota, cav, Donovan, bright, Costa and bonatini I feel we are covered we just need to make sure we impose our selves and control possession.

9.) 01 Sep 2017 10:38:49
And to think my wife always tells me off for leaving things til the last minute -)

Been impressed with all our dealings so far- had to be an exception and N'Diaye is it.

31 Aug 2017 15:57:33
Think we may have found our missing link in jurgen locadia. Definetely worth the money. Has a bit of everything about him, strong, pace, skillful, two quick feet and most importantly scores goals and links up play. Check out his 2015/ 16 clips on you tube and you will see what i mean.

out of darkness

{Ed047's Note - Nice to see another fan happy}.

1.) 31 Aug 2017 16:08:39
More than happy ed. If we sign palhinha aswell i will be over the moon lol.

{Ed047's Note - He is certainly better than nothing and as i said he will surprise a few}.

2.) 31 Aug 2017 16:30:05
Not sure about this one. Failed to live up to expectations and currently 3 goals in 15 games hardly prolific. Quite amusing also looked on YouTube at first video of his apparent goals and assists. The first three clips showing him hitting the bar every time. Needs to hit the back of the net not the bar.

3.) 31 Aug 2017 16:33:57
Locadia looks like a good player, what's his best position? will he play up top.

4.) 31 Aug 2017 16:36:32
Goaldenwanderer look at the season before to get a better reflection on him. Last season he only played 15 games due to a serious groin injury yet scored 4 goals.

{Ed047's Note - He will dohis talking on the pitch}.

5.) 31 Aug 2017 16:36:57
Wow, how expectations have risen . go back to Kenny Jacketts shopping list .

Now, having remembered those sad days where the owner had no ambition wotsoever, let's just enjoy the new Wolves and see how this journey .

Fosuns mean business!

6.) 31 Aug 2017 16:39:55
Has had some injurys but he is 23 so fits the model of bringing in doing well and selling on for a big profit.

7.) 31 Aug 2017 16:50:49
Mattbwolves he's a winger/ striker so without a doubt fit into our three at the front system no problem. Left or centre of the three or alternate throughout 90 minutes . Similar to what jota, cav and costa would do but with goals and assists also.

8.) 31 Aug 2017 17:07:35
Very happy with the value, think we could have done with someone a bit more gritty for this season as I do not think he will get as much space as has been used to. Great signing overall for the future though.

31 Aug 2017 15:19:19
Wolves have signed jose nuno rodrigues xavier a striker from chaves. Expected to go into the u23 squad. Think our strikers going to be locadia from psv for between £10 - £12 million.

out of darkness

1.) 31 Aug 2017 16:07:51
**** if I'm paying for that on the back of a shirt.

2.) 31 Aug 2017 16:23:06
Lmfao howler, kill two birds with one stone and just have nuno lol.

30 Aug 2017 14:37:23
I think before the window closes we will buy julan, snap up soares on loan with option to buy and palhinha we will buy. So realistically spending just slightly more on fees that we gained by selling bodvarsson, edwards and dicko.
With those three and the squad we already have without a doubt we will go up. can't see us not being promoted. The above players all point to the path fosun have already gone down regarding we look at for value, improvement and assets.

out of darkness

1.) 30 Aug 2017 14:51:50
What Mendes wants he pretty much gets Porto will not be wanting to upset him. Soares inbound!

2.) 30 Aug 2017 14:52:43
Where have u heard this from or think we will sign these?

3.) 30 Aug 2017 15:32:45
Barewolf its what I think will happen. Also these three names keep cropping up time after time for there not to be substance in it and they make sense in the type of player fosun look at. There was a left back called martin veelar that we were looking at but it seems that watford will get him. I think that's the reason were after colback so atleast we get cover as he's left sided. This then hopefully means were still after a defensive midfielder palhinha so neves becomes more attack minded with his passing ability rather than breaking play up.

4.) 30 Aug 2017 15:36:47
Well if Soares and Palhinha don't happen it is big egg on face for WWFC INSIDER - definitely not ITK.

5.) 30 Aug 2017 16:15:25
its now gone back to Porto lol.

6.) 30 Aug 2017 16:27:26
my first post did not come up? Tiquinho Soares wikipedia was showing his current club as Wolves FC but its gone back to Porto FC?

7.) 30 Aug 2017 16:57:58
Anyone can edit Wikipedia pages. Someone here might have speculatively made the change to Wolves. It's happened before.

Kevin de bruyne asked for conor ronans shirt in exchange for his own after the match. Even de bruyne knows a talent when he sees one. We ain't half got some players that hopefully in generations to come they will be talked about as greats for our club aswell as nuno.

Is it time to give Will Norris a run in the 1st team? He’s done brilliantly for us in the cup games and is certainly a great goalkeeper. What a fantastic signing. Top man Will.

25 Oct 2017 10:08:14
Good luck to morgan gibbs white who plays for england u17s against brazil in their world cup semi final later in the early hours. Could wolves have a future world cup winner in their squad? let's hope so. Things just get better and better.
great times to be a wolves fan.

First post for a while and it feels brilliant to see us playing the best football I've ever seen us play, along with the results and consistency reaping the rewards and seeing us deservedly top of the pile/ can't see it being any different come may.
Although a 20+ goal a season striker helps I still think that the way our teams set up its not going to be the be all and end all to us going up. Many teams have had a striker that tops the charts or scores 20+ goals per season yet achieve nothing. My thinking is if we had 20 1-0 wins and the same player scored in every one of those games then we've only generated 60 points if every other games lost. This ain't getting us promoted. Yet if the goals are spread amongst the team which they are then we achieve what we set out to do. Bonatini, cavaleiro, jota and costa getting 10+ goals each coupled with the rest of our squad chipping in equals promotion in my eyes.
Think nuno has it spot on and a formation that teams find hard to fathom out and play against.

1.) 22 Oct 2017 23:17:07
Out of- entirely agree with the sentiment, in that shared goals is FAR more reliable for a sustained push anyway. But in everyone’s haste to talk about a ’20 goal a season striker’ we seem to be missing a CRUCIAL fact…. we already have one! Bonatini’s now on 7 goals in 13 champ games (and as we know he hasn’t even started all of those) well with that goal average he’s looking good for the hallowed title! That’s not even to mention the four assist’s! Now of course I won’t deny competition would help come Jan but I think many (myself included) may have originally underestimated just what a coup Leo was (probs foolishly just because of his last club) . A player that if rumour is to be believed that Juve and City were both tracking just a few seasons back. Things are looking good, still need to cut out the silly goals but Nunos the man to do it, just hope Prem firings don’t start up again to soon because someone will notice sooner or later with the football that mans capable of producing! COYW ;)

2.) 23 Oct 2017 07:10:21
Nuno will get an experienced quality striker in Jan, because although we have lots of bits a pieces of young up and coming talent he knows that’s where we are short. He tried to get a couple in right up to last minute in Aug.

He knows what he’s doing moving forward. I’m pretty sure you’ll see more comings and goings in Jan. ⚽️😉👍.

14 Oct 2017 20:04:19
My first wolves match was in 1978 yet todays team performance was the best I've ever seen us play.

1.) 14 Oct 2017 22:04:42
Saw us anialate a strong Liverpool team 4:1 in 1981 at the Mol, with Hanson, Souness, Dalgiesh, Lawrenson, et. al.
Lights failed if I recall, different era, different opposition, but for entertainment level and dominance today’s performance equalled this.
Am I dreaming?

Totally agree wolves 4 life, great signing. Can now see why dicko went. Different type of forward altogether. Was always worried when dicko shot as he never had a back lift with his striking foot. This bloke locadia does what should be done, put the foot right through the ball.
Massive step up in my opinion to the strikers we had and well worth the money.

So sorry gee wolf to hear your sad news. Totally relate to what your going through at this sad time. Believe me when I say you will look back with fond and happy memories rather than the grief you're feeling at the minute. doesn't make it any easier mate but each day that passes it becomes less painful the emotions you're facing atm. Stay strong along with your family until the time comes where you will begin to smile remembering the memories of your mom.
god bless.

Who brought the bomb squad in? Were they sold for profit? No. So what they made on fletcher and jarvis we all know went into balancing the books. All i was saying is the difference is fosun are an INVESTMENT company. Moxey invested in his own personal career to make sure he kept his job to the detriment of fans etc. Fosun and moxey are night and day anyone can see that.
thats my opinion anyway just as i respect everyone elses.

Goggs 1959 fosun have said they're here for the long term to achieve success and to take wolves to levels we could only dream of only a few years ago. When they took over jeff shi stated that they wanted to buy a club that they could grow into so many levels, off the pitch, on the pitch, overseas etc. Chelsea, manchester clubs being examples. Difference being the above clubs can't grow any more than they already have. Wolves can.
finally all fosun will do is continously repeat the process were already doing and done from last season till we reach the premier league. We don't go up then players no doubt move on for huge profit or return to their parent clubs if they're on loan. The transfer fees are then re invested to start the process again and again. No way will fosun walk away without achieving their goals the sole reason chinese don't do failure in business . Its not in their culture or their governments interests to be seen to be anything other than successful.
Its absolute genious how it will play out, watford do similar only not on the scale that were doing it.
Fosun are here to stay, the football worlds wolves oyster and I for one are so grateful that atleast morgan left us in magnificent hands. Finally there's not many owners who stop off in a pub with an open wallett. that's pure pr gold.
