Famalicao to sign Leonardo Campana tmrw (12th Sep) on loan until next May.

out of darkness

1.) 12 Sep 2020 16:23:26
Morgan Gibbs White just scored for Swansea.

2.) 12 Sep 2020 18:56:04
Great! Hope he has a real confidence boosting system.

3.) 12 Sep 2020 19:16:47
So happy for him, hope he has a great campaign and really makes a name for himself! On a side note where are all those posters that were telling us Leeds signing Rodrigo was cause for panic?! Not the best start that! 🤣.

4.) 12 Sep 2020 20:12:19
BullysBoy II I reckon Rodrigo the composer would have done better than Rodrigo the striker tbh.

5.) 12 Sep 2020 20:44:16
Ken- agreed mate, Leeds look excellent going forwards but if they keep giving away two penalties a game and defending set pieces like that they will have problems. I think Bisela is a top manager so they will probs settle, but Pool we're very poor today and they should of taken a point 👍.

6.) 13 Sep 2020 00:10:15
BullysBoy II agreed he's an excellent manager, well drilled. I think they will do ok. Despite the fact I'm not one likes anything about Leeds tbh. Dating back to the Don Revie era, not that I bear a grudge or anything! One of my best memories in football was when we stopped them winning the title. That was a game of football!

7.) 13 Sep 2020 11:31:27
I remember that game Ken68, Leeds had a freekick at the southbank end Allan Clark was trying to squeeze into our wall. Jimmy McCalliog went round the back of the wall and kicked Clark really hard on the back of his thigh, nobody saw a thing, I did.

8.) 13 Sep 2020 12:28:52
noddyboy, that was the most amazing Monday night! I was in the South Bank up by the exit gate and Leeds fans burst it open to get in! Followed by Police with dogs one which fancied me for dinner, bloody thing. Just happened to be in its way. Never saw the kick but I remember Clarke going off. Phil Parkes had a hell of a game that night and Frank scored which was something that was very rare and Doog got the other one.

9.) 13 Sep 2020 12:51:07
Yes Ken that's why he eventually had to go off.

10.) 13 Sep 2020 16:08:54
Was at the UEFA final ( both legs ) . Nostalgia huh, ain't what it used to be! 😀.

Joao Palhinha to Wolves, the delay on announcing the new midfielder is because it involves Wolves releasing the remaining 50% players rights that we hold from when Sporting signed Pedro Goncalves from Famalicao.

Reason being the fee for Palhinha will be €13.5 million euros. The remaining 50% of Goncalves rights will be handed over and a fee of £6.5 million as well. Sporting will then hand over their 50% of the players rights to Famalicao who they purchased him off.

This enables Wolves to offset any ffp issues atm as well as they need to balance the squad out which is where the sale of Ruben Vinagre to Porto comes in.

Victor ferreirra.

2.) 07 Sep 2020 22:20:40
Why are we selling Vinagre?

06 Sep 2020 23:56:45
Hope you're all keeping well, has been a couple of years since I was last on here, some may remember me.
Few rumours to mention in that Tomas Esteves is reportedly due to sign from Porto, young 18 year old right back, also Fernando Marcal from Lyon for a fee of €2.5 million euros. Small fee due to his age but will give much needed strength in depth.

out of darkness

1.) 07 Sep 2020 01:50:27
Certainly been in the dark. Marcal signed about 10 hours ago.

2.) 07 Sep 2020 08:27:34
😂👍😂.

3.) 07 Sep 2020 10:53:26
Just heard Porto want Vinagre. 10 mil.
Doesn't make much sense for us to sell so it's a strange one.

4.) 07 Sep 2020 11:02:06
Lets give out of darkness a chance, we don't all spot the latest news. The second rumour about Tomas Esteves could still happen.

5.) 07 Sep 2020 12:19:15
Can't see Vinagre going, at least not for 10 mil. Mind you, after Doc going for a song you never know. Nuno has such a high opinion of him.

6.) 07 Sep 2020 12:53:59
Vinagre is the type of player we would be trying to bring in especially for 10million. Maybe a loan to another team who play a similar formation.

7.) 07 Sep 2020 13:06:34
All we've learned in the last few days is that we haven't got a bloody clue until it happens. Don't really see Vinagre going but I guess Nuno knows what he wants.

8.) 07 Sep 2020 13:39:45
If Vinagre is going then we must have another LWB lined up. Then Marcel would provide cover/ replace saiss while also providing cover at wing back.

9.) 07 Sep 2020 17:23:48
Out of darkness,

Welcome back and hope all is well.

I too had a break for a few years but was on here as Jez Moxeys Second Chin, previously.

Pele gave an interview today and after reading it, it went like this. No holding back and straight to the point.
He said he's always wanted to play in the premier league and it will be next season with wolves. He's spending a week to travel and see his family as they're located in london. He cuts to the chase and says it how it is.
Will post it up in sightings.

out of darkness

1.) 20 May 2018 11:04:37
Not so crystal clear. He actually said that he would be travelling for a week (to see the interested clubs) and then decide with his family. The most likely outcome is Wolves in his own words, but that is still not definite.

2.) 20 May 2018 13:07:50
Gunes the besiktas manager didn’t state he was going to Liverpool’ he said he was joining a rival of cenk tosun who is at everton maybe mendes can work his magic with talisca.

18 May 2018 23:54:33
Concerning the purchase of pele from rio ave it all makes sense. Basically we were after him last summer but he was injured. Come january we were lacking defensive midfield cover for ruben neves so purchased alfred n'diaye on loan with a clause that stipulated that if he reached so many appearances then a fee and loan was made permanent. If we backed out then a few million loan fee was paid on top. By getting pele the squads been upgraded and ruben neves has cover, ie cups, suspensions etc so makes you wonder if n'diaye has served his purpose and bought wolves time.

out of darkness

1.) 19 May 2018 16:59:52
I thought Pele was more of a defensive holding midfielder in the same mould as Saiss and N’Diaye so can’t see how he’d be cover for Neves who is the creative more attacking central midfielder. Someone like James Morrison from Norwich would provide more appropriate cover for Ruben I’d have thought.

With a midfielder expected to sign on loan with an option to buy I really think that the player could well be Thomas Lemar. His stock has somewhat fallen this past season and he's angling for a move to the Premier league and a fresh start. Jorge Mendes will want to move him on and hopefully re-ignite his undoubted talent. We will yet again reap the rewards in that he will cost nowhere near what Atletico Madrid paid for him, so again acquiring a massive asset to the club.

out of darkness

1.) 07 Sep 2020 08:29:28
New to the forum.

Thomas Lemar was on 113k per week at Atletico Madrid so he would need to take a massive pay cut to come to Molineux!
Moutinho and Patricio are Wolves top men on 100k per week and I can't see Lemar overtaking them!

2.) 07 Sep 2020 11:07:15
I think the only way Thomas Lemar would work is a loan where we only pay part of his wages. Or we sign him for a massive discount, which would subsidise his wages.

3.) 07 Sep 2020 12:11:01
I don't think it's Lemar, not that I know anything. Just guessing it could be an English player. You never know but I can't think who it could be. They are good at secrets aren't they! 😂😂😂.

Just a little taster of what could happen in the fosun boardroom if wolves signed jack butland. 😂

CHAIRMAN GUO "how much did you pay jeff? "

JEFF SHI " £35 million

CHAIRMAN GUO " so we have had him for a few seasons now, what's he being sold for? "

JEFF SHI " £14 million "

CHAIRMAN GUO "jeff we're an investment company, you have worked with us long enough. We went through university together, what you playing at? We asset buy for our shareholders "

JEFF SHI "sorry"

CHAIRMAN GUO " we're now looking like that crackpot down the road, the mad doctor wasting money like confetti, you will now have our government on our back and questioning us, we can't afford to heap shame on us. We don't do failure.

not happening .

out of darkness

1.) 01 May 2018 12:44:09
Like it, Stoke fans not impressed with Butland, prone to mistakes like Ruddy. A big NO at £35m, better out there for far less.
Also regarding Wilshire although injury prone financially a good addition, Free transfer, excellent midfielder (when fit) with prem experience, high wages 5m per year but easily recouped if sold on.

2.) 01 May 2018 14:06:06
man city fans was saying the same thing not long ago. now there's players in the under 23s on 90k.

3.) 01 May 2018 14:57:17
Whilst Wiltshire HAS been injury prone, I would suspect with the quality of our backroom staff - no serious/ significant injury problems all season - maybe the risk is not so large. I would be more concerned by the reputed £100k a week wages upsetting the harmony of the squad.

Surreal moment today while me and my partner and boys were in hollywood bowl. Roderick miranda was pushing his baby in the pushchair while waiting for someone to arrive for a game of bowling.
That person was ruben neves and family.

Absolute quality having my picture taken and they were only happy to oblige.
Walked around with total freedom that they wouldn't get in manchester, london etc.
Only three of us recognised them.

All the teens and kids were too busy drooling over the man utd and arsenal match.
Neves nor miranda wern't bothered one jot about these so called superstars.
In my eyes they're pure class and show humility and gratitude.

Tht is flipping class also Costa cav and bon were at cannon raceway God I love the players.

2.) 30 Apr 2018 10:33:05
Top quality OOD, and two cracking photos- two to keep and treasure. One in particular eh?

Hope you’re ok mate.

3.) 30 Apr 2018 13:16:24
I'm doing great thanks lowwolf. Having my picture taken with them was surreal and totally out the blue. The look on my sons faces made it all the more sweeter. Also nothing was too much trouble for neves or miranda and as you can see they were genuine.
Top class.
Myself for one would be sorry to see miranda go as i was one who championed him when we were after him.
Secretly pleased that it was these two.

Bullysboy, I think enobakhares just training with the first team squad mate. Reason I said keep an eye on this lad is with all our age groups they're taught to play in the same system as our first team so when gaps appear in the older age groups due to loans etc then the move up to replenish the next age group ie u18s - u23s etc. so the transitions seamless.

Regarding sauvage why I highlighted him in particular was his link up play which nuno likes our strikers to be good at. At the nike academy where he was snapped up he was banging goals in for fun, every clubs coach was raving about him, chelsea amongst others but he chose us.

Totally agree jas, he would be suited to the premiership. Would rather have him as back up over batth although even he's improved this season yet still think he's found his level. It seems that english defenders are coached only one way so when it comes to playing out of defence most find it alien. Luckily we have a manager whos years ahead of english coaches . Think what let's miranda down is he's alan hansen esq where he comes across as non plussed, takes things in his stride, maybe he finds the championship boring, feels he's too good for it, who knows.

Apparently dave its to do with lack of game time he feels he's not getting and he's comfortable that he's done no wrong with the allegations against him. I thought he looked top draw against villa and played a blinder. Sorry to see him go if that's the case. Regarding boly I can't see him going anywhere. he's appreciated, gets games, about to play against better players next season and his stock will only rise higher.

Mattbwolves he's a winger/ striker so without a doubt fit into our three at the front system no problem. Left or centre of the three or alternate throughout 90 minutes . Similar to what jota, cav and costa would do but with goals and assists also.

Goaldenwanderer look at the season before to get a better reflection on him. Last season he only played 15 games due to a serious groin injury yet scored 4 goals.

studley wolf to take something positive out of the situation you find yourself in like you have shows what a person you are.
Cherish every second, every day, every moment that i'm certain you have been. Life can be so so cruel and not fair, truly hope you can find some solace and comfort that people do care.
All I can add is I hope yours and my own misfortune brings some hope or a good positive message to others to treat others with kindness, dignity, respect and maybe it will change others outlook on life and empower them.
