My friend who plays golf at oxley golf course as told me he's heard that athletic bilbao CB Inigo Martinez will be signed by the end of the week. Don't like spreading rumours but I thought i'd pass this one on I don't no anything about him but my son tells me he's class on fifa if that helps UTW.

1877stlukes

{Ed0333's Note - don’t lie stluckles you haven’t got any friends lol.

1.) 30 Jul 2018 23:59:48
Inigo Martinez would be class. Man city heavily linked before they went for Laporte.

On the Danny Rose front people may scoff at a rumour like that. In some ways why not. He is not going to want to play second fiddle to Ben Davies. Voice of reason highly unlikely it won't happen. But why shouldn't we be linked with players of that calibre when they would be a perfect fit.

Never heard of Wu Lei before tonight can't say anything. Just hope it's not instead of Adama type deal.

2.) 31 Jul 2018 01:48:07
Inigo Martinez Also out injured right now 🤕.

3.) 31 Jul 2018 02:40:43
oxley golf Ain’t there were all the you know go and play golf 🤔.

4.) 31 Jul 2018 02:40:56
Oh btw he would be class.

5.) 31 Jul 2018 00:12:55
He would be class! Have watched him a lot and before we went up I thought that he would be perfect for the way we play. IF this comes off it would be perfect! He’s left footed and very good on the ball, similar to Boly in that sense. Spanish international too so comes with good good pedigree. Would take a Huge bid though I reckon due to the fact they only signed him in Jan to replace Laporte. definitely a Nuno type player though so if true make it happen JEFF! :-)

6.) 31 Jul 2018 08:57:13
Inigo Martinez in, Danny Batth out would be ideal!
Could see Inigo challenging Coady for the sweeper role.

Would love to see us sign Mina though for the RCB role. Appears we are well down the queue.

Imagine.

Boly Martinez Mina

Backup - Hause Coady Bennett
Let’s not forget we have Cameron John coming through too.

7.) 31 Jul 2018 10:47:23
Imagine. Not one English player in sight.

I would rather keep Batth. Funny how everyone says trust Nuno but constantly have the knife out for Batth

Lol.

8.) 31 Jul 2018 13:43:10
Because Batth is not good enough for prem and never will be.

9.) 31 Jul 2018 15:02:37
Rumours are the Batth is considering retirement to work with his wife on their business.

10.) 31 Jul 2018 20:02:12
My friend who runs Blackpool donkey rides says he'll give Wolves a donkey in exchange for Batth
That's on news now Wolves 😱.

Morning guys I don't ever do this because I hate all this my dads mates friends told me this nonsense but i'd like to share this bit of info with you all . I was out last night with a good friend of mine who is one of the Wolves`s youth academy managers and he's been told the following info by one of PL direct team so here we go 1 Paul Lambert will be in charge for next season ( no real surprise there sorry PT) 2 Fosun to back Lambert with considerably more money than last summer 3 Lambert to bring in 2 new members to his backroom team . 4 Lambert has offered contracts to both Stearman Weimann. If the above is true then its time for us all to get behind this man and give him the support he needs however knowing my luck they'll sack him on Monday and I'll look a right mug nothing new there hay guys . UTW.

Thanks for the info 1877stlukes, I'm just walkin into the woods now with a noose round my neck lookin for the tallest tree! I like the idea of two new faces comin into his backroom team, we can hope at least one of them has a footballin brain ) the backroom set up needs new blood as it's got very stale, so a shake up there is a positive. As far as the money goes I hope that is true as the playin side needs a major overhaul as we all know. I will back whoever is in charge come August as we start wilth a clean slate, but we must hit the ground runnin or I for one will soon be callin for Lamberts head. AGAIN! 😂 But to be honest I'm still hopin Fosun get rid of him and all the backroom team. 👍.

2.) 05 May 2017 11:29:51
chill out, we all look like mugs on here mate.

3.) 05 May 2017 16:18:46
I agree with Paul Tamworth we have got to get off to a flyer can't afford a stuttering start we soon b on his back if u get behind its hard to make up especially if he's got millions to spend a if we sign Weimann and stearman how many more players will b coming in a while back fosun said there wouldn't b much money available we would haft to sell hence Costa leaving.

4.) 05 May 2017 16:45:19
We definitely need to trim numbers from the TOP down. It looks like the dye has been cast! The questions are:- With what strategy? With what level of quality coming in?
There will be plenty leaving - hopefully! What have we all got to all look forward to?
There has been a lot of the usual chat from our reverred leader as usual! However, I'm not convinced or inspired as I've seen and heard it all before! Talk is cheap as they say! Fosun have good intentions I feel sure. Just not convinced it's all in the right hands.

5.) 05 May 2017 18:26:40
BTW, Steadman needs to return to Fulham!

6.) 05 May 2017 19:11:28
Stearman wants to stay with us but I don't now if lambert wants him I hope he goes back.

7.) 05 May 2017 19:55:00
Much rather we go for Steven Cook or Richard Keogh. Looks like John Terry is staying in the Premier league.

8.) 05 May 2017 23:23:22
John Terry and Jermaine Defoe both off to Bournemouth. ⚽️😉.

9.) 06 May 2017 10:12:02
If Stearman is signed by Lambert, it'll show that this Club has no ambition and that interview given by Lambert is a load of waffle. Stearman is one of the worst defenders I've ever seen at Wolves and it's a disgrace that he's able to wear the famous shirt! I'll be absolutely fuming if money is spent on that Carthorse! Fulham know he's useless and that's why they were delighted to get him off their squad this season! Please Lambert, do yourself a favour and sign better quality than Stearman or, we'll be in the same position this time next season!

10.) 06 May 2017 11:00:57
As soon as I read the name 'carthorse' and a load of exclamation marks, I knew who said that, lol.

11.) 06 May 2017 13:13:10
My mate at Brighton says they want to sign John Terry. They probably need him more than Bournemouth. It's only a hop, skip and a jump for Terry to Brighton and it's a bit livelier than Bournemouth where most residents are older than Harry Redknapp. Wouldn't surprise me if Defoe went to Brighton as well.

12.) 06 May 2017 16:56:34
Brighton wouldn't pay terry's kind of wages or, defoe.

13.) 06 May 2017 21:25:31
Why not. They gave just been promoted and are guaranteed £100m per season. They can afford the wages.

14.) 06 May 2017 22:13:56
Defoe off to WBA.

31 Dec 2016 17:47:08
Ben Marshall left out of the Blackburn squad looks like he'll be our first signing of the window.

Just read through some of the threads and I see that people are asking for a 20 goal a season striker and Benik is just not up to it in the premier well can I just point out these stats to you all. There was only 4 20+ goal scorers in the premier last season and only 7 players got 15+ goals this year. There was 13 teams this season that scored less than 48 goals in the whole season and 7 teams scored less than a goal a game to get a 20+ striker this season I think we're going to have to be very lucky. IMO i'd take 4 10+ goal scoring players and I think Afobe could be 1 of them lads we'll all want to sign these world class players but I think we're all going to have to be patient WOLVERHAMPTON WASN'T BUILT IN A DAY. UTW.

Was it the first day of spring yesterday? The reason I ask is because I hadn't heard off any of my Villa mates since October then all of a sudden there back I didn't realise Villa fans hibernated. Like a few of you have said let's win the next two games and the villa match will be forgotten. NO PANIC HERE IN NUNO WE TRUST.

1877stlukes

1.) 11 Mar 2018 17:47:41
My team for Reading match

Ruddy
Doc Coady Boly Douglas

Neves Saiss

Costa Cav Jota

Afobe

4231 we need to change but I can’t see Nuno changing but we need a plan b as teams have worked us out imo.

2.) 12 Mar 2018 08:28:32
It's a strong team but Nuno doesn't change easily so expect 343 with a couple of rotations and no surprises like no Mir Vinagre Bright Hause starting.

Alright guys just been thinking of how quickly money can turn a football club around. I looked at Aston Villa and compared them to Chelsea and Manchester City 20 years old, if you were to ask fans around the country then who is the biggest/ best known club this is what I think they'd of said villa 80% Chelsea 20% and Villa 70% man city 30% but if you were to ask the same question today I think both would come back 50/ 50. Now if you were to ask people under the age of 20 the same question I think they both answers would come back at villa 10% Chelsea/ City 90%. Don't know if you agree but In my opinion this shows how quickly Fosun could turn Wolves into a power within English Football money is everything in football and I can't wait to see what happens to our football club. Let me know what you think guys IN NUNO WE TRUST.

1.) 08 Feb 2018 17:37:42
Personally, I don’t care where Wolves supporters come from! They support Wolves and that’s all you need to know. Man U supporters come from all the corners of the globe. Who cares where your from?

Up the Wolves from wherever you are and whatever creed.
We are going up up up👌🤞
😉👍⚽️.

2.) 08 Feb 2018 18:01:11
That's not how I meant that to come across wolvescoast what I am saying is if you were to of asked people 20 years ago who is the biggest club/ best known club out of man city chelsea and villa I think the mayority would of said villa and if you were to ask the same question today to people under the age of 20 they would all say man city and Chelsea are far bigger. The reason behind this is money, money bring success and what I'm trying to say is if Fosun continues to spend money then the gulf in class will close between wolves and the top End of the premier league rapidly. I was trying to point out that because villa haven't invested and had the success of man city and Chelsea that they have been surpassed. Hope that clear it up for you I wasn't going on about supporters coming from different parts of the country not sure where you got that from. IN NUNO WE TRUST.

3.) 08 Feb 2018 18:14:03
Will close rapidly.

4.) 08 Feb 2018 20:04:22
And if you asked people in 1958 what do think the figures would be? It's money money money, but success and media coverage, radio newspapers/ tv coverage, on line. 1958-2018 success pulls the early support. Yes fosun can do it and wolves can be big AGAIN but it's winning that really matters. COYW.

5.) 08 Feb 2018 20:15:43
I should also add that's why exactly my brother his kid my kids me and other family members are wolves fans here in oxford because their success in my childhood and passed down the line. They've been my love for over 60 years good and very bad. This is the most exciting time looking to a great future. Winning the sher page van ensured my youngsters winning 4 3 the championship the play off. That'll bring the fans bring the money.

And sorry to go on but cast your mind back if your old enough to Jim smiths oxford utd who rose to the premier won the league cup on almost nothing player wise financially sold Aldridge Houghton and others made cash and sunk again.

6.) 08 Feb 2018 20:30:24
And sorry to mention it oxford also were responsible for a certain dean Saunders arrival to the big scenergy.

7.) 08 Feb 2018 21:06:37
And just imagine the tescos faces when we are winning cups and titles again.

8.) 08 Feb 2018 21:28:24
I agree that it's passed on it was to me and me to my kids but I also believe that we have been in the wilderness for far too long and generations of wolves fans have been lost to top premier league teams. What I'm saying is that teams will catch you if you stand still I used villa as an example that's all man city and Chelsea have caught everybody up because they've spent money.

winning is everything like you said but you don't win without spending and when you start spending it can never stop. I was not trying to knock the our club like you said if people were asked in 1960 who the biggest club villa or wolves they would of said wolves 100% but for the 30 years I've been watching wolves this is the first season I can say we're better than villa fact. So for the last time what I'm trying to say is that it is possible to break the top 6 as long as we keep spending Chelsea and man city have proved it. IN NUNO WE TRUST.

9.) 08 Feb 2018 22:01:48
I should of said Wolverhampton kids not Wolverhampton fans have been lost to top premier league teams.

10.) 09 Feb 2018 05:18:59
I'll just add two words Leicester and city . The whole nation suddenly had links with them when winning.

Watched him at Wembley for England against Brazil in 2013 and he was the best player on the pitch Unfortunately he just hasn't lived up to the hype injuries have really let this lad down however on a free he might be worth a punt he's got bags of ability just needs to stay injury free. UTW.

Pertonwolf just read through your post's and there is not one positive post from you so your either the most negative wolves fan in the world or your not a wolves fan at all I'd go for the latter. Wolves are going up as champions 100% there is nobody consistent enough to catch us we did all the hard work before Christmas now it's just a matter of seeing the job through.
Only cardiff gained on us this week and now everybody is gunning for them every team that's got themselves in 2nd place have crumble under the pressure guys there is nothing to worry about we have the best team manager owners and fans in the division Premier league here we come. UTW.

Agree Weymouthwolves we are a newly promoted team with a maximum stadium capacity of 32k and people think we can sign anybody just because we have money. It's time for a few wolves fans to give their heads a wobble and take off them gold and black tinted glasses this is our first year back in the premier league and it looks like we are going to spend somewhere around 70/ 80m only on championship manager have wolves ever spent that kind of money guys the future is so bright stop worrying and enjoy the ride. Guys we are blessed with the owners we have they care so much about our club and its future there's not many owners who would turn up to a u23s friendly at Hednesford on a Tuesday night but uncle Jeff and Kev Thurwell were there last night. The project is so much bigger than just this season wolves won't be built in a day the future is so bright guys Nuno knows what he's doing we've just got to be patient and enjoy the ride. At this moment in time we have IMO a better team than Burnley and a just as good team sprit as they have there for I would be more than happy we could cope if the season started today. Nuno knows what he's doing and who are we to question him and fosun think back just 2 years and we'd of all sold our granny's for what we have now just be patient i'm sure there will be a few more signings before the season starts but if not we'll be ok .
