Watched the Portugal u21s last night I really do think Vitinha is one of those we will regret not signing.

I completely agree Rated. More (for me) because of the way Lage plays, I've noticed how he seems to like weighted/ searching balls down the flanks and I think Vitinha could have been class at that! I think the problem was that he wasn't worth the £20m agreed fee and Porto wouldn't want budge on it (because he is a good prospect) . Just one of those things but I definitely agree that with no new midfielders bought in we could have definitely done with him still being here 😒.

Pity we couldn't have kept Vitinha on loan for another season. Unfortunately the buying fee was too much, but I'm sure he will still be on our radar come January. This will give Bruno a chance in the meantime to properly evaluate any hidden gems amongst the youngsters that Nuno may have overlooked.
