Wolves are interested in bringing back Bakary Sako. Sako is unhappy at Crystal Palace and is thought to be open to a return.

08 Aug 2016 09:17:41
Wavidsmith will be happy!

08 Aug 2016 09:17:42
This would be great, where's the word coming from?

08 Aug 2016 09:23:39
Oh ac, you speak just like E&S, Who says all this. Wolves said nothing official, Sako said nothing official. Where do you guys get all this info from - the village barber?

08 Aug 2016 09:26:16
On twitter it says there in talks but will believe it when I see him holding up his shirt.

08 Aug 2016 09:34:41
New now reports talisca flying 2 England 2 day complete the deal work permit sorted also in talks with sako and Norwich interested.

08 Aug 2016 10:08:27
Sako has a groin injury due back 20th August. Derbywolf where did you hear he was out till Feb!?

08 Aug 2016 10:12:32
Dont take nothing from the e@siit.

08 Aug 2016 10:13:31
Sakooooooooooooooooooo.

08 Aug 2016 10:38:15
Harlow Wolf, 'newsnow' reports nothing at all, it simply aggregates stories from other news sources and lists them.

08 Aug 2016 10:38:21
Sako could b an even better player with quality players around him.

08 Aug 2016 11:18:48
Sako, Dicko, Bodvarsson, Talisca, Costa, Graham, Zyro. I really am starting to wet myself 👍 Now can someone please do something about the central half position with Batth/ Hause/ EEL etc. We need a couple of quality defenders and to ship this rubbish out for good.

Sakooooooooooooooo.

08 Aug 2016 12:16:39
Sakho is a decent player at championship level, but for me a one trick pony . He certainly won't weaken squad and may have a point to prove

Cant wait for the marquee signing of Talisca, that will have the molineux faithful shouting the ole's .

Heady days!

I love this thought that a player who can reject a club, effectively dismissing us all as being beneath his ambition and unwilling to finance his lavish lifestyle would be welcomed back as a returning hero.

Sako was a standout player among a very mediocre group of contemporaries, but this desire to treat him as though he were blameless and forgivable for organising a departure is getting tedious. He may not be Henri Camera, but his actions marked him out as cut from similar cloth and although none of this seems to be coming from the player himself, that he may benefit from our change in circumstances is a disgraceful thought. We should not be sympathetic that it hasn't worked out for him at Palace we should be glad, lesson learned, the grass isn't always greener. Chapter closed move on, there are plenty of better options out there for us.

08 Aug 2016 12:43:20
Sako was average at best. we don't need him back.

08 Aug 2016 12:59:45
Average my caramac. you try and a left winger in with his pace and foot foot.

08 Aug 2016 13:03:08
Sako apparently has a hamstring problem caused in a preseason tour match 2 weeks ago, pardew only said he would miss start of season does not appear long term from his comments.

08 Aug 2016 13:08:13
Can't believe I'm hearing this. How can Sako be average when he single handedly got us out of league one and took us up to the play offs basically on his own? He was phenomenal around 2014/ 15 and can't understand why he's getting such a bad rap just because the skin flints in charge wouldn't pay him his worth. Some of you have very short minds, to say the least.

What I find hilarious is that you say no to Sako, yet welcome an arrogant money grabber like Talisca to the club with open arms!? Despite what you read on here, Sako gave his everything for Wolves and was heartbroken to leave - were you not there at his final game? He has a VERY big heart and it breaks mine to keep reading the opposite from certain sections of our supporters. There is only one Bakary Sako, and he's coming home.

Sakooooooooooooooo.

08 Aug 2016 13:14:52
Sako has been one of the best players to have ever worn the Wolves shirt. If you can't see that, you have a real problem.

08 Aug 2016 13:16:45
sako expressed his desire to play at prem level since the day he joined us, even dropped down to league 1 to try get us back to the big time - gave it all he could but couldn't quite manage it. I think bringing him back would be the icing on the cake of this magical fairytale.

08 Aug 2016 13:23:54
Sako a one trick pony? well if that's the case, get the pony back in the stable. when he was on form, he was unplayable at times. But I would say that I did see him have some games when he was anonymous.

08 Aug 2016 13:31:19
Wavidsmith you must be a young guy to say that Sako has been one of the best players in a Wolves shirt is beyond me. Yes he's had his moments but someone who was here a short time he cannot be classed as a wolves great. We know ou love him and he would bolster the squad but if you look at the stats for the season we came back up it was Dicko who had the greater influence. When he was injured over the 9 game period we averaged half the points we did when he was in the team. This is why he was such a massive miss last season and we will see that when he returns.

08 Aug 2016 13:40:09
A bola reports from Portugal that talisca is about 2 become a father and that the signing won't b done for a few days I really wish they get it sorted he still wants 2 sign but the longer it goes on the prem clubs will b able 2 get a work permit.

08 Aug 2016 13:43:00
I would welcome Sako back with open arms! Yes he did have his off days but, overall he was a quality player during his time with Wolves. To me it would be a no brainier getting him back, if he wanted a return! Champ defenders were scared stiff when the big man was running at them and to be fair, he did his fair share of tracking back as well! Imagine Sako and Graham to choose from to play out on the left wing, pure quality!

08 Aug 2016 14:19:43
U gota give sako some credit he stayed with us when we droped to league 1 and he's a better player then tht league if he is not out for tht long thn come home son.

I was born in 1976, Darbo and grew up in the Turner/ Bull era, through the 90's revolution with G Taylor/ Jones followed by the Hoddle/ McCarthy debacle and Jackett. I've seen a hell of a lot of players come and go over the last 40 years, both good and bad, but very few have actually got me on the edge of my seat like Sako. In the modern era, I would definitely put him up there with the likes of a Steve Bull/ Geoff Thomas or a Knightly and easily remains one of the most skilful players Wolves have ever had. You would have to be absolutely out of your mind not to want him back, even if you only got 30 games a season out of him.

Sako is a match winner, and there are very few of those around these days - you only have to look at how much we have suffered from set pieces since he left to see how much we've missed him. James Henry and even Jordan Graham couldn't even dream of crossing a ball as well as Sako can.

08 Aug 2016 15:16:35
Sako has a slight groin strain and is due back 20 August and not February 2017 as someone on here posted.

08 Aug 2016 15:51:11
Think with Sako back we could get the best out of Dicko when he gets fit.

08 Aug 2016 16:02:30
Agree Humphy.

Sako was a cut above for Wolves. League one or not, he would still tear right backs in the Championship apart. He had several qualities that we have found very hard to replace and most Championship players also lack. The combination of these are match winning player stuff.

If Sako came back it would be amazing. He would love it and I'm sure 98% of fans would too.

UTW!

Sorry Wavidsmith, not for me! Sako wanted to play on the Premier League and we'll give him a warm welcome if he plays there against us one day! Lots of good wingers out there and he definitely wasn't 'Waggy' class for me.
