Not sure if anyone noticed that nelson oliveira didn't make the squad at all for norwich in the cup. Can only add to his frustration after saturday when he was named sub.
Him or soares will do for me or both. Also mason left out the squad means that his days are coming to an end. Can see bristol city definetely snapping him up.

I had not noticed that out, good spot! I would be very happy with Oliviera, his strike rate at this level is good and proven. Hopefully the being dropped is a response to him wanting to make the change cause odd to have dropped him for the league game if not?
As for Mason I think he will like ya say be with Bristol soon, they bid on him last Aug after they lost Kodija think we only probs turned it down cause we were all over the place with transfers at the time! Think a fresh start all round would be best, not his fault but his injury record for us has been savage!

Bullysboy with oliveira we know what were getting in terms of he's had a good pre season, knows what the championships all about, scores goals, good all round striker, portuguese international who would fit straight into our style of play and improve us . Well within our means fee wise and passionate which he showed the weekend.

Oliveira and Wolves looks such an obvious match. This lad's a fine striker, has great technique, knows where the goal is and links play well. Has to be the pick of the strikers touted to sign for us and a deal could be done if we ship one or two players.

Oliviera is crap compared to other players we have been linked to.
This is the weekend where players find out whether they are going to be part of a clubs plans or not.
Gray-probably waiting on Burnley to sign a replacement
Afobe- will he start and be part of the plans of Howe.
Rhodes- not my choice but could be interesting if he plays. As I'm sure wolves and other clubs have chased him.

Anyone notice that John Ruddy and Michal Zyro didn't make the squad at all last night. Surely a sign that their time is up just like Rhodes at Sheff Weds and Olivera at Norwich. Or maybe the manager just wanted to use the ties to assess other players available like Nuno did!

Yes Jas your right all I was saying is it will be interesting come the next couple of weeks but this week be will highlight players that aren't to settled at the minute.
I'd didn't mention players playing lest night as in essence it is seen as a pre season game.

Jas- fiar point regarding last nights game but that still doesn't explain why Norwich would drop there top goal scorer from last season for the league opener? Pretty sure Ruddy played for us in the important game. eg the league!
Anew- Not a chance Gray is happening, Watford have just agreed £18.5m for him by all accounts. As for Afobe and Rhodes you can keep um, both suspect attitude and both lost their scoring touch! Oliviera is in fact averaging more goals to mins than both right now anyway!

One other thing I don't get is why peeps think Afobe is even an option (or Rhodes for that matter)?! Afobe left under a cloud and has shown NO sign what's so ever of being unhappy at Bournemouth and if he was would almost certainly find a place at a newly promoted team before dropping down to a league that he clearly saw as below him (with the way he left) . As for Rhodes he only signed this window for £10m?! To be honest if he bounced out of another club THAT quickly I would be VERY inclined to steer clear as it couldn't be good to need two moves in one window!

From what I've read Sheffield fans feel it's a lack of service rather than a lack of quality from Rhodes. If you can't afford the quality in midfield to supply a goal poacher like Rhodes then I would say yes you are better off selling and go for a different style of striker. You need goals to stay in the league.

P282- Fair point if they hadn't signed him this window. but they have! Not that much could have changed in there planning between the start of the window and now?! Besides which even if it was true then this would be another club where he has gone and bounced out without achieving much, becoming a bit too much of a habit for my liking.

Andre gray not coming to wol he's signing for Watford Edwards price batth should b sold they were utter tosh we always seem to have trouble with the lower teams breaking them down they seem to frustrate us if we don't get an early goal or 2 we struggle.

I disagree with what people are saying about Batth Price Edwards
Last season they were some of our best players I think people have got too much of a taste for exotic players from Portugal and Brazil.
