Looks like we're in for Luisao that would be an amazing signing to add to Oniangue, Texiera, Bod, Silvio and Costa and who knows Talisca, Buttner and Bjarnesson too. Hard to believe we are really looking at Chris Martin and other Championship standard players.

WindowWolf

1.) 16 Aug 2016 11:57:02
Luisao will b an excellent signing he's strong quick and will add a wealth of experience 2 our young defence.

2.) 16 Aug 2016 13:01:56
He's 35 and not that quick anymore- still better than what we've got tho.

3.) 16 Aug 2016 13:30:10
Hp his not fast you jokin pal.

4.) 16 Aug 2016 15:21:16
How many players do you know that faster at 35? Big, strong, good in the air and has a hell of a shot on him.

5.) 16 Aug 2016 15:56:22
U can still b quick at 35 I'm not saying he's lightening.

6.) 16 Aug 2016 17:04:07
If Man U can sign Ibrahimavic then we can sign Luisao remember this is partly about selling footy in China and players with pedigree will be good for revenues.

Rumour going around we are bidding for striker Eder from Swansea but I can't see it myself he hasn't scored any goals this season anyway.

We've made an enquiry southwales online& Walesonline both very reliable sources from Cardiff and Swansea Wolves see him as best possible replacement.

Siggy recalled this should be interesting.

WindowWolf

1.) 27 Dec 2015 17:17:38
. who?! In all seriousness, he actually did very well under Solbakken. Seemed to steeply decline under Kenny; it seems as though barring Sako, Kenny wanted to cut links to any of the signings made that year. Neither Margreitter or Doumbia given a proper chance either. With Siggy coming back, one question remains; will we EVER see Boukari again?!

2.) 28 Dec 2015 10:15:23
Boukari coming to end of contract so probably not. He has been unlucky with injury. Siggy has a Doyle feel about him if he is brought back properly not just warming the bench it will just be for a few games but to even be on the bench shows Kenny wants to give him a chance.

Lambert saying about Ronan he has a great habit of passing to someone with the same colour shirt. Is this a swipe at a couple of players he dropped?

Great too see Cav showing what he can do I would like us to start with Bod and Mason again and bring Bright and Dicko in later.

WindowWolf

1.) 27 Dec 2016 12:58:22
Good shout WindowWolf, I also would go with that, Bod and Mason seam to hit it off, also think Mason as more to offer with right players around him and score goals.

2.) 29 Dec 2016 08:11:22
I see the Express and Star saying the same thing so a change at the front very possible.

17 Dec 2016 17:46:56
I didn't see the match but I followed the text

I think PL sees what we see he drops Iorfa and Hause, plays Coady in defence, Cav on the wing, Edwards deeper (would have played Saiss myself) and brings Price back. And hey, we win. And he shows confidence bringing on Ronan for 10 mins just to have a look at him.

WindowWolf

21 Nov 2016 08:36:13
Lambert saying bringing back Price was an easy decision like we have known for ages good start.

WindowWolf

1.) 21 Nov 2016 11:59:28
Not sure which match our boss was at? Anyone know? Bringing back price was a good move. We were lucky!

2.) 21 Nov 2016 13:55:09
That is to say, if you listen to his (Lamberts) post match review, it makes you wonder! I hope things improve because we need a good clear out and 2 or 3 real quality players bringing in, strikers and midfield areas in particular, all of whom should be able to and have an excellent track record of knowing how to put the ball in the net! Otherwise no chance of making top 6.😉.

3.) 22 Nov 2016 11:17:43
We always play better with Price. Fact. Perhaps he doesn't shine in training? The only trouble I see with Lambert's (and mine I suppose) preferred lineup is that if Price, Saiss and Coady all play, we have a defensive midfield that relies heavily on the FBs running up the wings. So one has to go and we can play 2 wingers. Unless we have just 1 up front or no attacking midfielder.

But I would like to see two of Edwards, Dicko, Bod and Cavaleiro out there. So, sorry Mr Coady.

Well guess who scored against us well there's a surprise.

I am loving all these new signings but when are we going see them start only Bodvarsson today Costa, texiera and Oniangue on the bench where is Ola John?

WindowWolf

1.) 27 Aug 2016 15:19:11
Ola John needs to build up his match fitness. Trust RVLP to score against us. Did nothing for us but now seems like a world beater. COYW!

2.) 27 Aug 2016 15:50:08
9 new signings but only one starts! Big Jeff buy players who are available to start!!

3.) 27 Aug 2016 16:51:42
Broken promises again. New players not playing. Let's be honest who has heard of most of them?

4.) 27 Aug 2016 17:11:41
lose a game and the pant wetters come out in force, that comment is laughable devon wolf, shame on you!

5.) 27 Aug 2016 17:23:49
Tell me honestly how many of these players you have heard of?

6.) 27 Aug 2016 17:47:58
whats that got to do with the price of fish devon I was referring to your broken promises comment. Based on early performances Teix, Costa and Bod are going to be very useful additions, the others just need time to get upto match fitness. And FYI the only player I had not heard of was Teix, some of us do follow footy outside of the prem and champs ya know!

7.) 27 Aug 2016 17:49:12
Do you live on another planet? it's one game, give them a chance
Maybe it's because of people like you why players don't want to come to us.

8.) 27 Aug 2016 17:54:43
We will see, wait until it's cold and wet!

9.) 27 Aug 2016 17:59:21
Who mentioned fish anyway? And I bow to your great knowledge of football!

10.) 27 Aug 2016 18:00:33
Romain Saiss would give us the "steel" we need, however it's all gone quiet. Really hope the transfer is still on.
Heard that Harry McGuire is disenchanted maybe he could do us a good job?

11.) 27 Aug 2016 18:02:20
One defeat and it's a crisis?

12.) 27 Aug 2016 18:52:12
It's not a crisis but the season will be a damp squib if the majority playin are last seasons players, no excuses Walter September 10th we want to see your team and not JACKETTS dross!

13.) 27 Aug 2016 19:37:28
Just need some mobility up front which Dicko will provide when fit, a central defender (Harry McGuire definitely not Lescott) a hard midfielder (Romain Saiss) and a proven goal poacher in the box (Wells or Rhodes) and promotion will beckon!

As a percentage not much he was on loan and my guess is that young players in Portugal don't earn much so probably 1 percent of the wage bill!

Got to keep Price but most of the others can go I would like to see Oniangue play again I don't think we have seen the best of him yet I would keep Mason too unless we sign a better striker

Negotiating with Benfica to take back Tex and ManU to take back CBJ. Biggest problem is Gladon who can't play for a third club this season.

I wanted Prince to stay but he needs game time I hope he is with us next season as he looked useful

He prefers Bod with Mason and Dicko with Bright but Bod would do well in the 10 role and would probably score more easily!

Fosun has invested in 12 new players how many would we have had under Morgan? The problem was the rush to get players through the door before season started we didn't scout them no manager to say what the team needed.

There is ambition just not direction but now we have Lambert we have the missing piece of the jigsaw he has 30 players he can use which he says is too many

Yes we would like better players but don't blame Fosun who thought they were doing that in August

Lack of ambition is Venkys who went from a Premier team under Sam to a relegation outfit today
