These are my thoughts.

1. Nothing will be announced until Jackett has gone. They are hardly going to have a press conference going on about the future of the club and its new management with Jackett still in the job. So I reckon the first sign of it all happening will be an announcement that Jackett has left by mutual consent. When this might be we have no idea.

2. If Mendes is as highly involved as we are lead to believe then it opens the door to many quality players. But let's not kid ourselves here. We will be used as a stepping stone to introduce these players to English football. I suspect a lot of the incoming players will be on loan. i'm not against this if they are quality players.

3. Make no bones about it. We are going into partnership with AC Milan. We WILL be picking up there fringe/ young players as they gain first team experience. Again, i'm not against this. Just as long as we are progressing and making our way back to the Premier.

4. I think the MASSIVE investment will come as and when we get to the Premier. If i'm honest, I don't think that will be this season. I think it might take 2/ 3 seasons. But it will come. I was a fan of Solbakken. We must not panic like we did with him. It will take a lot of time to restructure and change the playing ideas and attitudes. We would NOT have been relegated if we had stayed with Stale, so hopefully, as fans we have learnt from that.

5. We are all Wolves fans. That what we have in our hearts. let's be patient now, let's be patient in the early days and let's be patient if it doesn't all click in the first season. This is the biggest thing to happen to our club. EVER. let's get behind the owner, the management and of course the players. Its going to take time. But, oh my word, this is just so exciting. Bring it on. let's embrace it. let's have lots of fun. And most importantly, let's unite for our fantastic beloved football club. UP THE WOLVES.

Tom,
Agree with everything you say except timing. The announcement will be made, regardless of Kenny Jackett's situation. He can be caretaker coach if need be when the announcement is made, probably today. He may well take the team to Ireland for pre-season.

Wise words Tom only thing I disagree with is KJ and Deep has dealt with that.
I only how that the majority of Wolves could read this and understand it, but we all know we have a nucleus whose patience is always paper thin as they think they are playing Championship Manager on their PC's.

Good post. Not posted for a bit as just trying not to get drawn into the whole thing until it's announced but it's getting harder by the day. Fingers crossed that Wolves blog is accurate.

Didn't it take Villa about 3 weeks from when papers were sent to the F. A.? Might be more accurate time span, that's why nothing close pending anoucment.

I think we have better more patient fans than we think, maybe than we've been misled into believing by Wolves / Moxey's PR machine.

In the past our fans have got frustrated, due to an absence of long term vision and ongoing clown like administration. We supposedly had vision under Morgan - but what was it? Our players would be lowest paid in the league, we'd cling on to the edge of the Prem, if we're lucky we could end up like urban Everton. Then ooh you complained about us not employing a Pro Manager and instead appointing Terry Conner, ooh that didn't work so we take a last minute punt on Stale then don't give him time and replace him with Saunders, we end up double relegated, our fans are so bad. Ooh you shouted at Morgan at Preston for not replacing Sako after we promised we would, thus throwing the season.

The only really distinct thing about our fans is they have relentless passion and desire for success. It's our engine that in the right hands, will help propel us forward and upwards. It's a good thing that previously has been mismanaged, even exploited to hide our administrations often quite extreme short-comings and failures.
