Not saying we don't want to spend money, just realistic and don't think we are going to spend 20mil on players in this league, it's just when the transfer shuts and if we haven't signed big players I won't be spreading doom and gloom and slating what we have got in and the new owners, I am just old school I guess and support wolves whatever the division or who owns us, we have 10 new signings so I don't look at this as doom and gloom!

We are strengthening the spine. Bod leading the line, Prince and Roman in midfield. Ikeme is good enough so we just need to sign a decent experienced centre back. Pity we didn't get Luisao but looks like we have been trying elsewhere and would be good to get cover for Bod. Nice to see the Under 23's are settling and getting some decent results now we have stopped raiding their ranks. But hope Bright and Ennis are going to get their chance.

But it isn’t that simple though Paul. If you have read any of the recent articles about Fosun they are in a process of selling some of their investments. They are doing this because they have too much debt on their books. They are restructuring there business to put themselves in a better position for the future. Wolves are a small part of their portfolio. I believe them when they say they have a budget of 20-30 million, but there is no logic in them spending any more than that if they get it right the first time.

Wednesfield - problem was our squad was threadbare hence we've needed to add pretty much 11 new players (be it purchases or on loan) . Only 1 sold so where do you think all the wages are being paid from not to mention signing on fees and/ or loan fees.
I think our business so far has required considerable investment but hey let's expect our owners to spend endless amounts of money lumbering us with a massive squad of over-paid players when the owners leave because we haven't automatically gone-up - it worked for Portsmouth (not! )
