Nino if u need someone to say top ten . ill remind you of the budget you've been told u will get.

What is the budget he's getting?

Having the biggest budget doesn't always equal success. Chelsea spent over £200m last year and are 5th. PSG spent mega bucks on 2 players and failed in Europe. The most important thing is getting the right players in not the most expensive.

Nonsense, Jas is spot on what difference do budgets make if the other 16 teams in the league already have squads a head of you?! Nuno was spot on with what he said, fans on here shouting 'top ten' need a reality check! Yes I don't doubt Nuno and the boys could do it but there's a BIG difference between being capable of that and 'expecting' that! Also here I think Nuno as always is just being a typically sound man manager, he is trying to head off a potential banana skin. You tell any newly promoted team that they can breeze into the top ten first season then you are setting yourselves up for a fall! Partly because by telling them that you are giving the players an ENTIRELY wrong message about the rigours of the Prem! I'd take 17th if offered it tomoz because that's all that matters first season! How many of us expected to get even auto promo this year, not many is the answer but suddenly those same fans are saying 'well Prem should be easy' nothing but foolish if you ask me.

Well said, sound common sense. It's one thing to dream but a reality check says money makes no guarantees. There are plenty of examples of cash poorly spent. Finishing 17th will be acceptable, mid table a delight, and quality purchases year on year to build a real challenge to top teams is a real dream.

The main thing is that wolves stay in the premier league and keep building, so as long as wolves stay in the league I'm happy with that.

Nuno is promising nothing. It's a good thing - he'll just do his best anyway. If we finished 11th because 10 teams are better then so be it. If we finish 10th because other teams are rubbish what does that show?

Let Nuno do it his way - it's worked so far.
