I know Doyle is awesome and id be gutted if he went. but its Arsenal. i think if he went and he got on one of his spells where he dont score much , arsenal won't settle for that so he will end up being benched. and he will start going downhill. he should stick with wolves because he knows he is wanted here and is a major important player to our squad.

I am fed up of hearing the papers and McCarthy saying he is happy with his squad..Did Wolves all of a sudden become a Top 10 squad after bringing in Johnson?..and when did Berra,Stearman,&Elokobi become top Premier League defenders overnight? Madness We need more players in..2 weeks..sort it Mick FFS

You can't hear a paper.

2 more players would be good but only if they are better than what we've already got. Don't see it happening this window some how. I'm more worried about potentially losing one or more of our stars (Doyle, Jarvo or Fletch). I'd settle for the window closing and holding on to all 3

Are you a real wolves fan? :L

I'll be at the Golden Palace on Sunday, where will you be?

The Tap.lol.

Bad news that Dann has been left out of the Blues Europe game. That means he's eligible for Champions Lge registration when he moves. He'll go to Arsenal not Wolves.

He was never going to come to Wolves.

Wolves need to take legal action
against Trappattoni who is clearly
engineering Doyle's mood swing
to Arsenal

Exactly how ?

If you bother to read the press you will see that Wolves are saying it themselves

Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club have today taken legal action against Ireland football manager Giovanni Trapattoni for allegedly 'engineering a mood swing' in striker Kevin Doyle. Wolves Chief Executive Office, Jez Moxey, released an official statement on the clubs website today stating

"..Wolverhampton Wanderers will not tolerate mood swings from any of our players. I have spoke with Mick McCarthy and we are both in agreement that Mr Trappattoni's persistence in engineering a mood swing in Kevin Doyle is very, very, very naughty."

If Doyle goes to Arsenal and we end
up with Jerome, we might as well
pack up now

Seb is by far better than c jerome. this would just be a step bk rather than forwards jerome has got to be one of the worst strikers around if he comes i'll never go to another game till he has gone.he can only just manage double figures in the championship and he's proven on two accusation he's not prem quality.

"According to the E&S we are being linked with Middlesbrough's Matthew Bates and SSN are linking Marvin Emnes also of Middlesbrough."

Sadly this is very believable 'cos we are always more likely to raid the bargain basement than up the ante and actually pay the money for a proven top class performer.

Blackburn in for Wayne Bridge.....
.......another one gone.

We not getting any more players were f***ing slow lol im pissed off now and with doyle might be going to the gunners

Firstly Doyle WILL not go to Arsenal MM says key players are not for sale.Secondly Wayne Bridge spends more time injured than playing also have you seen him play for West Ham (when he did) ? he was awful.

Looks like Blackburn have done us another favour.

If the reported numbers are correct (£2m loan fee and £45k per week - 50% of his wages) then Blackburn are welcome to him.

There is nothing on SSN regarding
Emnes. QPR in for Barton, Parker
and Cole. Rumours of Doyle going
to Arsenal are intensifying. Afraid
the relegation predictions may have
to change
-------------------------------
One game in and it's doom and gloom. Some Wolves fans really do my head in. We won our first match, have added an England class defender and a potential England class CM to our squad, we're a team growing in confidence and Premier League experience and all that some fans can write about is who QPR are rumoured to be interested in signing and how that will lead to us being relegated.

Put more effort into supporting the Wolves rather than writing this drivel.

I agree, ffs' get behind the bloody club instead of bitchin, what will be will be,wolves for life It's in the bloodif Doyle goes' tough just make sure the money goes on the team in January,Mick jez Steve seem to know what's going on so let it be now,has Doyle come out and said he is unhappy?,let's face it the way things are We"nker"might be on his way with his star players jumping ship,Arse;ole'nel are goin knowhere,3rd London club just and on the slide.Gold +Black forever"come on mi babbies"

would love emnes at wolves and his is a lot like jones from sunderland
i say a swap deal with blakey or vokes or offer 3 million going up to 5 as he's only 23

Why is everyone worried we under achieved last season. We have added a quality Defender in RJ. Our players have another year under there belts and when the window closes on the 31 we'll no then what MM has and has not done just chill

BG

MM was at Middlesbrough checking out 2 payers and winger and a cb/dmf.

Matt bates good defender

Bates isn't the tallest though is he?

Don't think so but quick and strong

No ambition......

Wrong site, this isnt about west brom...

18 Aug 2011 11:35:48
This was my biggest fear, we are now faced
with the fact that QPR are going to
buy any one who is going to stave
off relegation. Morgan fiddles while
Rome burns

Your glass is well and truly half empty. Stop worrying about QPR. It will take more than a couple of signings to make them a better team than Wolves this season.

Do me a favour and ask a responsible adult to hide any sharp objects from you.

I'd rather Morgan than any of the current or former owners of QPR.

Rome is not burning, don't panic.

Thomas Hitzlsperger, 'Der hammer' will not be signing for us.

www.vfl-wolfsburg.de/index.php?id=50496&tx_ttnews%5Btt_news%5D=70125&cHash=5f5f9d74ac1d4ae8849aaf78f128589c {Ed001's Note - to be fair most of the links were coming from people getting mixed up. There were clear stories about him set to sign for Wolves and how he wanted to return to the area from good sources. The only thing everyone (and I include myself in that) didn't realise was that it was Wolfsburg and not Wolverhampton Wanderers being talked about. Teams having the same nickname is such a pain at times!}

We were the Wolves more than 50 years before they ever were -_-

Qpr can buy who they want cuz as for Leicester they hav started amazing.... Not
Jus shows wolves are doing it the right way year after year... Rome wasn't built in a day, well b fine survival for another season is what we all want however we achieve it ;-)

Its becoming ever increasingly unlikely that wolves will make any permanent new signings, maybe a loan signing is our only possibility

18 Aug 2011 07:32:51
Does anyone on here actually no what goes on behind the doors at wolves regarding players cause it's rather funny watching people moan about not signing hitzlsperger or anyone since RJ everyone no's how wolves play transfers keep there cards close to there chest

N how about shaun davis from Bolton on loan good shout personally

18 Aug 2011 03:30:22
Wolfsburg have confirmed the signing of former West Ham midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger.

Thomas Hitzlsperger has sealed a return to Germany
Germany international Hitzlsperger, 29, has signed a three-year contract with the Bundesliga club

Nice One Wolves -wait and they willnot come...

By everything I have read, we made him an offer which he considered along with another offer from QPR. If he decides to go home to Germany and play there, how the heck is that Wolves fault? Unless of course you are advocating we should have offered him in excess of a reasonable stipend, thus starting us following the path taken by Leeds, Portsmouth and others?
