Got a big game against Everton Saturday . 13th plays 17th we cant get carried away . Ohara and Fletcher will have to get back and and help land the catch .
Still undecided which system we should play against Everton , my heart tells me the red letter system but my head tells me the Feast of All saints with the midfield pushing on up the flanks .
We got a great win last game but a word of wisdom form the Coach
" The Samuarai always tightens his chin strap after the victory " C.B 2011.
Chris Brown ?
Boring so u mean 4-4-2 or 4-5-1
Many years following football, not sure what the above systems are all about, anyone explain please?
Well one is 4-4-2 n the other is 4-5-1 so simple
I meant The red letter and Feast of all saints systems. NOT SO SIMPLE.
Hi Happy to explain , the Red letter system is where any player who fits the bill , pays the bill , otherwise know as zonal defending and the Feast of All Saints is one man up front, playing just in front of 3 midfielders, which makes a cross . hence the name The Feast of All Saints . sorry didn't mean to bamaboozel you with specialist football theory . will keep it to layman's terms. I once discussed this with Terry Venables and and even he had to admit he didn't have a flying sausage of what I was talking about ( some coach he his ! ) . Anyway you cheeky little parsnips Coach has a question for the forum . anyone heard of that South American player the Beaver Lip Kid ? did an internet search and cant find him . Been told by a reliable source that he wants trials in England and his worth a look ?

What on earth is going on. Beaver Lip Kid
Will coaching Badges be watching the England game tonight? If he is will there be comments on the game?
Mick for England manager if he ever leaves The Wolves
What a load of dross CB. If El Tel, one of the most experienced coaches in Britain, tells you he cannot understand what you're on about - take the hint and cut out the cr ap.
Surely one of the things they taught you on your coaching badge was to explain yourself clearly.
All these fancy made up names for your formations does not make you look clever. Trust me!
Big D
p.s. 4-5-1 for me. I'd be happy with a point. Would love a smash and grab 3 points thought.
Well said big D.Keep it simple and clear. The players need clear instructions not fancy named systems that need to be explained o them. Keep it simple please coaching badges.
It's 4-5-1 with a fancy name
Hi, can't comment on the England game , as I did not watch it. In respect to keeping the theory simple , I will try , it can be frustrating for the guys who are just learning the game . I do know what you mean though , I spoke to Glen Hoddle at Euro 96 and after he said to me Old Wise Owl , I don't have a monkey's marbles what you are talking about and he got badged before me... ! I also met him about 7 years later at a Coco Cola football school and the look he gave me when I told him to lean back bit more when taking free kicks , well I can tell you , he didn't have his balance right , but he wasn't having none of it . Still respect him for all that he has done in the beautiful game. Just a finishing note for the dude that tried to impersonate the Coach , many are called but few are Chosen !
I am going to chase up the Chelsea rumours this weekend , but for now I know that you can put your pythons pyjamas on Ryan Bertram coming to Wolves in Jan. Alas welcome back Sam Winall , hope you do us proud me ole trout and till box . C.B.
4-5-1 is correct , but did you know it is often referred to as the feast of all saints ? And that the Xmas tree formation is known in Asia as the rice growers hat formation . C.B.
The Legend that is Coaching Badges.
