Great draw for us against Grimbsy.

I live in Somerset so would have been good to have played Weston Super Mare!

12 Jan 2026 16:07:42
I agree with Goodwhileitlasted our defence seems much better these days, is it that both Toti and Agbadou have not been playing or better coaching from Rob and team?
Although very unlikely I am not giving up yet on us surviving in the Prem, will take some seriously good results but still hoping.

Be a great time for some club to lose points from breaching rules.
Realise I am mad for hoping 👍

Agbadou and Toti would be top defenders in the Championship.

12 Jan 2026 18:14:19
Agree banksy santi kreckji much more
Acomplished as it stands, but agbadou will improve, maybe try him in midfield he's certainly likes a tackle and a pass
Can we stay up. 🤔🤔.
Do you believe

12 Jan 2026 20:46:01
Your half way there Banksy, I think you'll find that it's not that Toti is playing better but rather hardly playing at! He hasn't started a single game in Jan and the proof is in the results!
And again half right Ox Agbadou would be class at Champ level (sadly I suspect we won't keep him down there) Toti on the other hand will still be a squad/middle of the table CB even in the Champ! There in lies the problem with VPs ridiculous choice of him for the armband! 👍

12 Jan 2026 21:14:56
Agbadou needs to learn to make a simple pass, even in the championship his passing will lose us games. He’s been like that since day one, not just this season

13 Jan 2026 22:16:39
Disagree Slinger. He’s been a rock at the back. Only changed during VP. Don’t know why 🤷🏼‍♂️

11 Jan 2026 19:13:54
Apparently, the Pope said a prayer for Wolves so they should be good.

11 Jan 2026 20:13:16
Nick pope?

12 Jan 2026 09:56:10
The Pope is said to be infallible in certain matters! Maybe his holiness could make a prediction about relegation?

12 Jan 2026 10:53:09
It doesn’t take a hotline to the lord to figure out if we are going down or not deep 🤣

12 Jan 2026 12:10:49
Survival? The pope said nope. We're going down for our sins, or rather Jeff's sins!

11 Jan 2026 12:21:51
And another bit of useless information. The last FA Cup holders knocked out by a non league side? You’ve guessed it- Wolves 1909 by Southern League Crystal Palace ironically!

Thought it jogged my memory from a long time ago (funny how Ican remember from years ago but really struggle with recent events!) 1958 5th round Wolves 6 Darlington 1. Think that was the last time we scored 6 in the cup until yesterday. Major difference being our league position then as opposed to now unfortunately. UTW!

11 Jan 2026 13:28:41
Chorley 3-0 always springs to mind

11 Jan 2026 14:14:26
Sorry but what does that have to do with Wolves scoring six?

11 Jan 2026 14:37:09
What a pleasure it has been this weekend watching football on tv without VAR. offside is offside and a goal is a goal. Those were the days my friend….

11 Jan 2026 21:02:28
Wolves 6 Rotherham 4, that was a game 47vintage.

10 Jan 2026 18:23:24
Delighted to see us playing better, scoring and winning at last.
Great to see Rob doing well and having a positive impact on players and performances, long may it continue.

I agree banksy a win is always nice but let’s not get the bunting out just yet it was Shrewsbury

10 Jan 2026 17:20:32
Yes and they still thinking of selling strand larsen in January as soon as fosun get out our club the better just stripping the club like they have done since nuno left its a shame had a realy good side and these muppetts just kepted cashing in shame wolves ay we

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Jan 2026 19:11:02
I think Larsen will go to spurs and Andre to Man U, and then I just hope we can bring in players who will fight for the club and the fans.

10 Jan 2026 21:06:24
Need to sell Strand Larsen in January to maximise the fee. Hasn’t delivered in the Premier League and Tolu has been more of a threat in recent games. Wilson from West Ham is a more natural goal scorer and could be available for free, as his contract is likely to be cancelled by mutual agreement if he finds a new club.Should ‘t be fooled by a hatrick against a hapless League two defence, his displays this season in the league have been way below par.

Would also sell Hwang this month, he flatters to deceive every one game in ten. His flicks and tricks just end up giving the ball to the opposition, plus he is a liability in our own half. Can’t fathom what we are intending for Fer Lopes, he shows flashes of real potential, but needs a run of games to get to grips with intensity of Premier League.

11 Jan 2026 08:10:17
I agree wolfthistle, I must admit I've become abit obsessed with Hwangs performances and despite his running and occasional efforts 9 times out of ten he loses or gives the ball away, yesterday it was his poor pass that allowed the shrews to go forward ultimately getting the pen.

Larsen will never score 3 easier goals and yet he didn't really get on the end of chances he should have. Let him go, Tolu was far more of a danger.

11 Jan 2026 09:37:06
Larsen doesn’t want to be here simple as that he’s still got the cob on the Newcastle move didn’t happen, look at his body language yesterday, the guys just scored his first ever professional hat trick but his reaction and look on his face was like he had just sat in dog muck then smeared it on the seats of his Ferrari, the only player I personally remember seeing like this after scoring is henri camara

11 Jan 2026 13:51:07
Yes Larsen had a cob on him after Newcastle farce, but when a move could treble your money I think all of us would be the same. Very little loyalty in football they are all after the big money. Would sooner have him than Hwang any day, total liability, how he has lasted so long in the Premier amazes me.

11 Jan 2026 15:47:23
He trebled his money anyway ray by signing the new contract we gave him, and in regards to hwang it’s shirt sales and football tourism that’s kept him.

11 Jan 2026 19:04:35
I'm sure you are right about Hwang, but if that's the case De Wolf it ties Robs hand when picking the team which is not right. I know Larsen trebled his money with his new contract but still below what Newcastle were offering. Trouble is we are a all Wolves through and through and can't understand why anyone would want to go.

11 Jan 2026 21:06:57
I actually get why people like cuhna, Neto, jota etc etc don’t stay, why would they? If your a player that wants to win things and compete at the top then in the words of our esteemed ex chairman then maybe wolves isn’t for you.

10 Jan 2026 17:01:55
In my opinion Callum Wilson is a must sign if JSL leaves. He would score goals for fun in the Championship!
Let’s get him in now…any thoughts?

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Jan 2026 08:26:47
Like Callum Wilson, but forever injured!

10 Jan 2026 16:14:22
It's fair to say that Wolves were expected to win that one, but in fairness that was a walkover. Yes they're (at the moment) two divisions below us but that result on top of progressively improving performances since the Villa game surely isn't just down to player confidence. How much of it is down to playing style, team selection and tactics.

I always felt that Edwards was a typical Shi (1st) cheap appointment but I'm beginning to believe I owe someone an apology. Once he got to know his players things began to change and as mentioned before the arrival of Silva on the coaching team contributing to this process. As much as I felt Jeff Shi needed to go did he actually get this one right?

Even in this game there were a few sloppy moves that caused angst including a penalty but irrespective of that let's hope they can carry some of this into the Prem.

Real confidence booster .
Result was as expected but score line was very pleasing.
Hwang and Arias seem to be getting better every week.
JSL did what a striker does.
Nice to see Rodrigo back.
Klejci and Santi are great together.
Keep the mood going and let’s fight to the very end.

10 Jan 2026 14:57:25
Yea Nando, confidence booster, but hardly stretched us, hwang gave the ball away leading to the penalty run, larsen will never score 3 easier goals and that could well be the last goals from him in old gold.
As you say Santi and Krecji look like they've got it together, and rodrigo and Lima look pleased to be back.

It was a shame Fer's effort hit the post, but it was pleasing to see our lads getting in for the rebound.
Let's hope it rubs off onto the prem games and as you say, fight til the end.
Smooth game, expected win and 6 goals.
Made a change.

10 Jan 2026 17:27:28
Amazing game. let's hope this form continues. Great to see Rodrigo Gomes back.
