May be a coincidence but Talksport mentioned this morning that it was odd that James McAtte was not included in Forests match day squad last night. I have seen earlier reports that he may be included in a deal with Forest for Larsen. I think McAttee would be a good signing.

Exciting signing if it comes off.
Didn't McAtee play with Doyle as well at City.
Seems mad though that clubs sanction these signings and they don't play for them.
Suppose its similar to Fabio Silva at Wolves although Silva was younger.
But Forest paid £30m in August for James!?!?!?!
Would take him though and then spend some on a fast forward preferably 2.

It's an interesting one because on the face of it I'm not massively keen on improving a relegation rival (albeit a little redundant at this stage). However, we have a very real issue where we basically can't register another none homegrown player until we sell one.
We can however register a homegrown player, so what this deal would essentially mean is that we get a new midfield option whilst also freeing up a new space for a none home grown player so potentially being able to replace one player with two for the squad! Add to this that so far this season JSL has hardly been half a player let alone two then there might actually be some sense in it! I suspect what it may come down to is what price they rate McAtee at cause he was NEVER worth the £30m that they paid!

I'd say £30m is the going rate for an home grown player now to be honest.
What's mad is we had to sell MGW for PSR.
It makes complete sense Mcatee and Doyle playing in the championship would walk that league.
But also it means we can get another loan player in with some quality to improve the forwards.
I'd also sell Wolfe so we can get a RWB for some balance.
Clean sheets are a must at the moment we aren't going to score 3-0 every game.
Next 4 games vital can we get within 10 points of Forest with 3 months left.
I believe we can.
