Controversial the Thomas one I know but I remember watching his first few games for us and he was absolutely a class act and I genuinely believe if he hadn’t of been absolutely mullered by lee howey in a tackle that effectively ended his career we would of gone up that season under Graham Taylor

Only players I saw playing: Ron Flowers, Peter Broadbent, Jimmy Murray (look at his scoring record 1957/60!) Steve Bull. Bully for his massive affect on our club after the darkest time in our history. He restored our shattered pride.
