Some reports are suggesting Wolves are once again interested in Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado.
As Casado rejected Wolves last August why would he change his mind now with relegation on the horizon?

Because then fosun can turn round and say “oh we tried to get this player etc etc” nothing has changed apart from the first name of the imbecile in charge at the club.

No point in selling or buying in this window. Too late to save us, so let's not make any expensive transfer mistakes. Rob is proving that he has what it takes to manage in the PL though: 6 points in the last 4 games would equal 57 across a whole season if he had been given the opportunity.

None of those 6 points was lucky, in fact we could easily have had more. Rob says the players want to make amends. Well, the way to do that is to stay and to accept championship wages next season to get us promoted first time.

Hmmm can’t see that happening deep throat can you?

No de wolf, some/most will be off elsewhere, but Rob is showing that he has what it takes. If Mane can continue his form we will sell him for mega money in the summer.

Sorry Deep buddy but it's not that simple and that isn't how stats work. The reality is that Rob Edwards has now overseen 11 Prem matches, winning 6 points from them.

When you put that over a entire season it's equates to approx 20 points which isn't even close to good enough for when we come back up!
Dont get me wrong with the hand he was dealt I think he's doing well, however does that mean he's automatically proven he's up to the job long term then the jury is very much still out! Let's see what his average ppm is by the end of the season and compare notes then eh ?

Personally I think we will lose at least 60% of the current squad between now and then in summer.
My line up for the first match in the championship assuming edwards sticks with a 5-3-2 is :
New gk
Lima new cb. Toti Gomes, new cb, Hugo beuno
Bellegarde, b traore, Doyle
Tolu new cf
3 I’m not sure about there are Bellegarde, Hugo b and tolu as I think we will get offers for the, out of the current line up I can’t see many being here next season.

Now I know people will say about Krechi only just signing permanent but that doesn’t mean a thing in football we did it with afobe and I think a few will be after him as well. Doherty is out of contract and think he could do well in the championship but I’ve a sneaky feeling he will go to the mls.

I get what you are saying with Krejci De Wolf and don't entirely disagree.

All I would say is that we are paying around £26m in total for him, he's been decent but can we honestly say he's worth that? I'm not sure and I think this will be the biggest issue with him, yes clubs will be interested but we paid top value and I'm not sure why any other club would be inclined to do that?

I take your point Bully but my point is that Rob has the team finally pulling together. Confidence was shot when he took over, so it took a while! He took over a completely demoralised squad hell bent on the lowest ever finish in the PL.

He has gradually turned things around and we can now see the results. It didn't happen overnight but it is happening.

The problem we have bully is we agreed to that on the basis that Jeff/hobbs and co thought we would be pushing for European football this season not dropping down into the championship, we have as a club in recent years overpaid for players, the bargains like moutinho etc are the exception rather than the rule.

He will be on a massive wage and even if he’s got a wage reduction clause which from what’s being said most of them if not all of them do he will still be on 40/45 grand a week after the reduction, that’s not sustainable in the championship so I reckon if a club offers anything like what we paid for him he will go, ditto tolu.

Reality would seem to be that we will start with a significantly wiped slate in the championship probably RE will oversee that but with this croud in charge, who knows.

Yeah I don't disagree De Wolf and wonder what the answer will be, maybe loan them both out for the season with the hope for a quick return? Even that's not especially realistic as most clubs these days will want an option with a loan deal.
Deep again fella I don't disagree with anything your saying however it is worth noting that at this stage we are yet to win against a single team that's likely to be in the Prem when we come back up.

I suspect WHU may go down as well and even if they don't the reality is that we need to pick up points at a quicker rate than just over half a point a game which is RE current record. Like I say let's see how things look at the end of the season and judge from there ?

I would have certainly gone for Armstrong from saints on the " we're going to be in better position for promotion next season " whether it's true or not we won't know yet but he is a goalscorer with excellent experience. I'd also be looking at Sargent from Norwich.only my thoughts folks. WAW

The loan thing didn’t occur to me bully but that’s a good shout hopefully broker some sort of deal similar to the Doyle one with blues as I’m fairly certain they can only exercise their right to buy him if they get promoted, no promotion no buy clause.

We could loan them both out with the caveat if we don’t come straight back up the club they go to can buy them if we come up they come back to us, that obviously makes sense to me so no doubt fosun will sell them both for 50pence and some magic beans ?

Thinking re is the answer is not logical.he's a wolves fan and that's it.when we go down it will be a very long time to get back.
