I don't particularly like Chelsea and how they've bent the rules over the years, but I do think on this occasion Fosun should look to copy Todd Boehly and be ruthless by sacking the manager as soon as the results take a downturn.

I think the bigger issue for both clubs was going for the easy/cheap option in the first instance! In both cases, the chosen manager was never going to be up to the size of the task at hand! I bet Rosenior can't believe his luck: a five-year contract paid out for three months' work. Yes, please. 😂👍

I've put my application in. I'm sick and tired of working 40 hours a week for a pittance.

Happy to see Grey saying about keepers, I don’t like either of them. Plenty to go that we will not be too sorry to lose. Anyone who wants to go let them for a fair fee though, obviously.
Can’t see Neves and Jimenez returning but happy if they do, as others have said though without a good manager we will still struggle.

Some people say we need to give Rob a chance, however from what I have seen he is not really doing that well so I am not so sure, depends on who else is daft enough to join us.

Sam Johnstone was a terrible signing. Pure desperation due to the imminent departure of Sa - that of course didn't happen. 10 million beans down the toilet.

Dan Bentley ain't too bad, and he's a good character to have around, but he's a no.2.

Wolves will probably bring in a young keeper in on loan from a top PL team. Get to the Promised Land, loan him again and then buy if relegation is avoided.

Mosquera apparently wants out. One player I'll absolutely be glad to see the back of. Utter lunatic who's a walking red card. Not even that good defensively. Also his play acting is embarrassing.

Any player at Wolves who gives even the slightest hint that they want out should be sold. Good riddance to the lot of them.

22 Apr 2026 12:12:48
After we supported him through his injuries. This is how he repays us. He was part of the problem, but now thinks he is too good for us. Let him go.

9

22 Apr 2026 12:23:06
Mosquera just got a two match ban. Thanks, pal, for nothing. Don't bother playing for us again. Anger management therapy is your best bet. And to think, in Nuno's time we used to weed out players like him if they were offered to us. Character is important as a quality. We don't want hotheads.

8

22 Apr 2026 13:47:36
Not Interested in him, tbh he is a lunatic on the pitch.
Nor our three keepers, all can go.
Let's get Kilman, Neves, Jimenez back.
And build around them.

4

22 Apr 2026 13:57:29
I'll be glad to see him go. You can't have players like him in a team picking up a yellow in the first 25 minutes. Too petulant, too aggressive, too unstable. I feel for him with the injuries he's had, but he's a liability.

5

22 Apr 2026 11:46:03
Hopefully WHU get relegated and we can have Nuno back lol.

3

22 Apr 2026 13:08:57
Nuno won't come back whilst Fosun are here, mate.

2

22 Apr 2026 13:51:24
I got too much respect for Nuno to wish our club on him!

5

23 Apr 2026 14:19:27
Oh, how I wish I could bump into those so-called Wolves fans that wanted Nuno out. Be careful what you wish for...

It is no real surprise that we are all feeling frustrated, angry and worried about our club these days, terrible situation been brewing for a while now.
A few questions, will they continue with Re now regardless of results and performances into next season. Will we see lots of new faces, and will they be any good, also will they sell our decent players at rock bottom prices?
Time will tell I guess, then we will see the future of our club and how Shi 2 compares to the previous idiot.
Personally, if we continue to perform poorly in the remaining games I would like to see a new manager in the summer, no idea who, but don’t want to see the dreadful form continue into the start of next season.

Joao Gomes in particular should not be sold below market value as we have done with others in the past.
I would also like to see us with some younger pacy players mixed with some experience, will we stick to 3 at the back, guess this depends on the manager.
Rant over for now, would be nice to have some optimism going into the summer but not likely or so it seems.

22 Apr 2026 10:44:21
You can have all the pacey players you want, but it's no use when the manager sets the team up to play negative, slow football.

2

22 Apr 2026 11:01:20
Good point GWIL1. Can we find a Nuno 2 who brings optimism and a style of play we understand 🤞👍, and, of course, enjoy.

0

22 Apr 2026 11:42:15
What the manager needs to do is use the pacey players to their full potential. Going into this season, I was possibly more optimistic than at any time since Nuno left. The reason? We had just bought Jackson, and with his blistering pace, we were going back to the days of Nuno, of soaking up the pressure and hitting the opposition on the break, with Jackson and Arias marauding up the wings and getting the crosses into JSL and Tolu, safe in the knowledge that Agbadou was in defence, thwarting the opposition attack, with Joao and Andre controlling midfield.

Somewhere along the line, VP decided that we would sit back and try to out pass the opponents, and it didn't work. Soon, the confidence was drained, and the mistakes set in. We never recovered, and we looked a very sorry, disjointed team, with no idea of how to play.

Good Hoevers contract is finished at the end of this season.

I have forgotten about him, another waste of money. Does this 'new era' of Nathan's preclude the buying of bargain-basement ones for the future, and players who we buy then permanently loan out to others?
In other words, are Fosun going to do this properly now so the club doesn't have to try and be some sort of recycling centre?
Any news on ground development, Nathan?

2

22 Apr 2026 10:48:23
I don't think ground development should be a priority at the moment. Any cash available should go towards the appointment of a manager who knows what he is doing, and also signings who will give their heart and soul to get us back to the Premier League. I know the stadium needs major renovations, but let's get the management and team right first.

1

22 Apr 2026 12:12:27
Trouble is, B'hill, that's exactly what we were told when Fosun first took over. Apart from the first couple of years, neither has happened, as we've been in decline ever since.
Ground development is something Fosun can pay for, as it falls outside any Financial Fair Play regulations.

They won't; they'll dump it on the club as further debt, which is probably why it's not happening.
They managed to facilitate their new esports stadium, however.

1

22 Apr 2026 13:10:12
If the owners fund the ground development, it should happen. If they won't, it shouldn't, as the priority for funding will have shifted. Ultimately, though, to compete with financial rules in the EFL or PL the club has to improve its income generation. That starts with the ground being up to scratch to boost income on match and non-match days.

It also goes to the academy producing players who can either go into the first team or be sold at a profit if they aren't quite there.

Both things the owners can fund outside of financial rules that have a long term benefit to the club. Things that, if they aren't done, mean we will never be able to financially compete in the Premier League, and, if we're not careful, even the top half of the Championship with other clubs having owners providing huge investment in infrastructure.

22 Apr 2026 15:05:49
It could be argued that gate income and match-day receipts are probably a larger part of revenue in the lower leagues, as TV revenue declines significantly. The only problem is lower-level football attracts fewer paying supporters.

0

22 Apr 2026 15:27:48
Therefore, Arddunby, it is the perfect time to do the work, with fewer supporters to disrupt, so if the club is sincere in its talk of rekindled ambition, more can get season tickets on our return to the Prem.

0

22 Apr 2026 15:56:47
Yes, Longmynd, in theory, you are correct, as long as Fosun do fund the work. The old Molineux Street Stand demolition is a lesson in what not to do, though; let's not forget that.

0

22 Apr 2026 16:56:12
Longmynd, all I was trying to get at is I think it would be better to rebuild the management setup and the team at first, then restructure the ground. What is the point of having a 45.000capacity ground if we are stuck in the Championship for four or five seasons, with no chance of filling it to full capacity? It seems pointless.

1

21 Apr 2026 20:58:04
Well, Albion C. NTS are safe now, I really wanted them relegated, as I despise them. But more than that, what kind of team will we have next season? Struggle to beat them & Blues, Stoke etc. omg. 😶

4

22 Apr 2026 06:57:35
I don't know about anyone else, but a positive thing about going down is we will play Albion next season. This might attract anger, but I have wanted to get our derby back for a long time.

Sa (Current)

Semedo (Fernebache)
Kidman (West Ham)
Agbadou (Besiktas)
Ait-Nouri (Man City)

Gibbs-White (Notts F)
Neves (Al Hilal)
Nunez (Man City)

Neto (Chelsea)
Strand Larsen (Crystal Palace)
Cunha (Man Utd)

Enough said, say no more!!

21 Apr 2026 19:10:35
Meant Kilman, obviously!

2

22 Apr 2026 07:36:05
Not sure what you're trying to suggest, Oxley, but that central defence would leak goals for fun, and many Palace fans are now thinking they've been done up like a kipper!

Transfer funds, Ow.

When will RE along with Fosun realise that he is an under 21 manager at best.
Division 1 beckons whilst he remain.
Go and recruit Daniel Farke before it's to late!

2

21 Apr 2026 19:16:11
Sorry, meant Thomas Frank not Daniel Farke!

2

21 Apr 2026 21:33:14
The thing is, Ox, I would normally say you're being harsh, but then you look how it went at Luton, and I'm not sure you are! Rob may have left in Dec, but they were already spiralling under him, genuinely worried that we could be the first tram to achieve double relegation three times! 😭

3

21 Apr 2026 13:17:57
Well let's see how Nathan Shi and co 'respond' after the release of his statement.

2

21 Apr 2026 16:09:52.
Statement? Just three paragraphs? Was that it? Work was underway since Nathan's arrival in December? That was over three months ago, leaving time to turn things round. What exactly was that work, if it didn't work? Our last away win was over a year ago, at Old Trafford. Those were the days when we actually had match winners in the squad.

2

21 Apr 2026 17:00:34
What really matters, Deep, is not the length of his 'statement', or, to a degree, its content, but will he secure the required financial backing from his employers to carry out any meaningful plan.
It will take time to rebuild and restructure, but the Summer months will tell us much more about that and Fosun's resolve to make amends.

Even the media seem incredulous over Fosun/Wolves' ability to chew their own legs off in recent years, and especially this season. Inexplicable, really.

21 Apr 2026 17:29:20

Total £163m.

In: Bazunu £10m, Trippier (free), Kilman (loan), Lascalles (free), Kalvin Phillips £5m, Kaminski £2m, Anis Mehmeti £14m, Jens Hjerto Dahl £8m.

Total £39m.

Add Wolfe, Mosquera, Lima, Rodrigo, Mane, Armstrong, Gonzalez, Djiga, Doyle and Traore.

21 Apr 2026 17:38:25
Wolves already stated, even if relegated, they will not listen to offers below £30m for Andre and £50m for J. Gomes.

0

21 Apr 2026 18:01:00
I bet they will.

2

21 Apr 2026 18:28:55
We have heard such words before. They say nothing of substance. There is no comfort in bland statements. Of course, the fans are appreciated. It is near season ticket time! No outline of what the plan is. I really fear for the club with these people in control.

0

21 Apr 2026 18:54:36
Boycott every game from now on till Fosun and RE leave.
Leave, we wouldn't be ruining the club.
Because it's already ruined.

21 Apr 2026 20:06:35
Sarabia... what a goal to be our last away win, and at O.T. Very underrated at Wolves. The fact he was 10 steps in front of everyone else didn't help. Sa will go. Keep Johnstone, a decent keeper for Championship no doubt. Hugo - keep. Santi - keep. Krejki will go anyway. Jackson undecided, but no loss. Andre is average at best. J. Gomes 50mil. Bellegarde, Hwang, Tolu, Munetsi, all to go for 50p. But Trippier won't pay his wages, but should remember Ince/Irwin. Kilman, no way. Che Adams up front with Armstrong? Really.

K.P. no way either. I nury prone. Wolfe will also leave, and Doyle returns with Traore to make a squad. Just hope Toti goes as well. So we need Championship quality players, with a view to getting promoted. Players like Neves, Jota, Jiminez, Moutinhio, Semedo. Wers Mendez wen u need him? 🤣🤣🤣. Oh, a decent manager too. R.E. probably the best looking manager in the country, but struggles to get out of bed. Thomas Frank. 💯%. Otherwise we drift along like the Grahem Turner days.

3

22 Apr 2026 11:40:55
It's when you said keep Johnstone that my chin hit the table, Bux. He's awful, & I don't believe he's injured. I think he's chickened out.
