Please treat this as nothing more than a rumour for now.

Former Wolverhampton president, Jeff Shi, has allegedly violated one of England's laws.
As of now, this is being reported through sources available up to this moment of publication, with the possibility that it may just be a rumor; all those mentioned in this publication are innocent until proven otherwise.
Reports indicate that Jeff Shi, former president of the Wolves and one of the only representatives of the FOSUN Sports Group at Companies House, failed to complete the Confirmation of his Identity Verification, which missed its deadline.
This means that, since that date has passed, the legal consequences for non-compliance are now active. According to British law, acting as a Director without completing the verification after the deadline is a criminal offense.
Companies House can now issue fines (up to £5000), civil penalties, or initiate legal proceedings.
This also triggers a chain reaction…
Since the sole Director failed to complete the Identity Verification, this leaves the Group unable to file its Confirmation Statement… Another violation!
06 May 2026 22:25:28
Does this affect Wolves, as he is no longer a director at the club? Companies House lists Matthew Wild, John Bowater, John Gough, and Nathan Shi as club directors.
06 May 2026 23:08:19
I have no idea, Goodwhileitlasted, mate, I'm monitoring it all very closely, as I said, and as the X poster said, it may just be nothing more than a rumour.
07 May 2026 08:44:39
I would ignore it, as it does not comply. He resigned his post on 19th December 2025.
I want him gone as much as any Wolves fan, but I do not believe this to be correct.
07 May 2026 10:10:33
As of this morning, Companies House records show that a certain Yu Shi, born July 1977, resigned as director 19 December 2025, and his verification status is complete (i.e. compliant).
Maybe his status was not complete previously, but it is now. Because of new legislation, many thousands of directors are struggling to prove their ID status at Companies House.
06 May 2026 18:18:33
Apparently Wolves scouts were very recently at a Porto vs Alverca game. Does anyone have an idea as to who the club might be looking at?
06 May 2026 19:19:35
Some clown wrote that they were watching Chiquinho and Meupiyou. But I think they were watching Marezi and Figueiredo.
06 May 2026 19:34:46
Thanks, Good. 👍
05 May 2026 11:36:27
We're linked with Nicolas Polster a keeper.
05 May 2026 17:19:23
Celtic are keen too, so no chance he will be interested in us. Don't need a quality keeper to pick the ball out of the net; anyone can do it.
05 May 2026 18:07:47
Brighton and Bournemouth are interested too. So, the choice will be to play a bit-part role for any of the quality clubs, or risk getting a bad back picking the ball out of the back of the net so frequently at Molineux?
03 May 2026 21:32:30
Apparently there is a video going around with Jeff Shi at Compton yesterday and today.
Anybody seen it?
Anybody any rumours what going on? If anything.
04 May 2026 11:16:44
If you find Harry Mansell on YouTube, he reported it yesterday morning. He uploaded a video of the guy who saw Shi#1 there. He asked Shi#2 about it outside the Mol, and literally got blanked.
04 May 2026 14:03:02
But in the video, he said he saw Jeff himself, so why didn't he just post the video?
Also, I don't blame Nathan for blanking him, as he came across very aggressive.
04 May 2026 15:51:02
Harry Mansell didn't make the video, Good, just reposted it. The guy who made it posted it on his Facebook page, apparently.
04 May 2026 16:08:37
Well, the person who saw Jeff at Compton should have just posted it themselves, rather than confronting Nathan in the aggressive manner that he did.
04 May 2026 17:32:51
The guy who confronted Nathan is the one who saw Jeff at Compton.
04 May 2026 17:58:17
I know! The guy who filmed it has already been ridiculed about his behaviour.
04 May 2026 19:42:22
Well said, Good.
04 May 2026 20:20:38
Maybe a few more fans should display similar angst. Fosun have it too easy.
06 May 2026 16:54:32
Imo they deserve to be met with anger from fans. They've done us up like a kipper. Edwards brought in to stop fans kicking off, as he's an ex player, as to someone like Dyche playing this dross they think is football.
It wouldn't surprise me if a few players don't open their mouths about what's going on down here when they've gone. I don't think for a second that Johnstone is injured, I just think he's had enough & I'm not sure about Sa either.
03 May 2026 18:31:27
Hearing Nathan Shi has request to talk to Edwards on Tuesday.
03 May 2026 19:05:01
Let's hope he pulls the trigger. He seems a nice enough bloke, but that's where it ends. He has been out of his depth from day 1. For the good of the club, please let him go. There cannot be many worse managers available out there at the moment.
03 May 2026 19:33:18
Swap Edwards and Rui around, Rui becomes head coach, Edwards becomes assistant?
03 May 2026 20:44:47
I can see Rui Pedro as interim until Nuno comes back. Imagine once again raiding the Mendes player bin.
04 May 2026 09:32:51
Changing the Manager will not make any difference, Fosun are the problem.
04 May 2026 16:40:36
Intriguing: useless GON on the verge of a Euro final.
Useless VP on the verge of a Euro final too.
So, who's to say we sack RE and he will too.
Sorry, guys, the coaches and managers are NOT the problem!
Bruno, Nuno and Julen were all decent coaches.
The problem is the players, and especially the owners.
FWAW.
04 May 2026 20:22:03
Well said, Mike Cee, have been saying the same thing. Some fans just don't see the bigger picture.
05 May 2026 06:29:31
Mike and QS, good to see some common sense posted.
We have a squad not fit for purpose. Shame on Fosun for allowing it to happen.
02 May 2026 00:33:15
Wolves have reportedly made contact with Wilfried Zaha. His contact ends this summer.
Would be a great man for Championship.
02 May 2026 12:43:33
Don't think he is the sort of player we should be looking at.
02 May 2026 20:40:31
Wilfried Zaha? If Wolves are looking at him, then the club is bang in trouble. I think he started playing when Jesus was in short pants. His first pair of boots was signed by John the Baptist.
If the rumours are anything to go by, Wolves' first team next season will have cost the club about £18.50 and have an average age of 36.
02 May 2026 21:12:20
I take Zaha definitely.
03 May 2026 07:25:27
Who thinks Rob Edwards should go?
03 May 2026 13:38:22
Fully agree, he's lost everybody, Molineux was dead yesterday.
03 May 2026 14:03:55
My team under Amorim would be
Sa
Cardoso, S Bueno, Arrey-Mbi
Lima, Doyle, McAtee, H Bueno
T George, Rebeiro, Jota
Subs: Bentley, Mane, Armstrong, Doc
I would sell Andre, J Gomes, A Gomes, Hwang, Tolu, Wolfe, Jackson, Mosquera.
Unsure on Bellagarde and Toti.
The squad above I'm not completely convinced with the defence, as I'm not sure whether we stick with a back 3 or move to a 4. If it was Amorim it would be a 3. Also, do we go for more experience at right back? Still need pace upfront on the bench.
Cardoso at Seville £6m
Arrey-Mbi Braga £10m
McAtee loan £5m
T George offer loan £4m with option to sign £30m
Rebeiro loan option to buy £15m
Jota £25m
Just some ideas. I know Amorim would cost us. But I think a squad that requires a clean slate and some money to build his project would suit him.
03 May 2026 15:27:43
Madman, your moniker is apt - total pipedream - but you can be forgiven for that at least.
03 May 2026 20:02:19
QS, if Edwards loses the next 3 games, there will be questions on what Fosun and the club do.
Amorim sounds crazy, but it could be a good opportunity for Wolves and Amorim to rebuild their status.
Who would we want to be our next manager?
I would go the Portuguese or Iberian route, with Mendes involved. I can't really understand why we moved away from it.
The question is, why didn't we pay the money for players that were linked to Wolves, like Andre Silva, Trincao, Leao and Ramos, to name a few that were linked earlier in their careers.
Other options, Jlo, Nuno (if sacked), Carlos Vicens.
I know Scott Parker and Thomas Frank are available, but I feel like Parker is similar to Edwards. Frank plays anti-football tactics and relies on the analysis at Brentford.
04 May 2026 13:07:40
On the theme of players linked, the failure to sign Vitinha, when he was there for the taking, was the biggest clanger, followed by losing out to Bournemouth for Alex Scott, from Bristol City. Vitinha would probably have moved on by now, but for big bucks. Scott could still be masterminding our midfield.
29 Apr 2026 21:57:40
Wolves have reportedly been floated as an option for Raheem Sterling, whose contract with Feyenoord is ending this summer.
30 Apr 2026 11:19:04
He turned down numerous clubs as he didn't want to take a pay cut from his £350k a week salary. Chelsea paid him about £20m to terminate his contract, but can you actually see Wolves paying him anything like he wants? Or can you see Sterling having so little ambition that Wolves is where he ends up? I can't.
30 Apr 2026 12:17:18
He currently earns about 22,000 a week, far less than Angel Gomes.
30 Apr 2026 14:05:44
If true it's a good chance for him to get his career back on track.
30 Apr 2026 16:12:38
I think the £20m payoff helped when he decided to accept £22k per week. I know Fulham and West Ham were both interested in him, but he point-blank refused the moves, as they wouldn't pay him the salary he wanted. I think they offered him £100k per week, whilst Chelsea paid the remainder. He agreed to join his current club only after Chelsea paid him off.
30 Apr 2026 16:53:04
I can't see Sterling playing in the Championship. My guess is that half a dozen PL teams would take a chance on him at £22k a week.
29 Apr 2026 14:24:52
James Tavernier being looked at by Wolves, according to Liam Keen. Must be a solid rumour for Keene to do a write up in the E&S.
100% would be a decent signing. Ideal captain. Also the perfect age if Wolves plan on using a young RB alongside him - namely Pedro Lima.
29 Apr 2026 15:25:36
Not sure why you'd have a right back alongside a right back, Noisy. He's got a good goals/assists record, but is 35 in October, and let's not forget which league he's been playing in.
29 Apr 2026 16:38:28
You know what I mean, Old Wulf. Play Tavarnier with him, knowing that Lima is going to get games. Perfect set up. Plus, Wolves need a solid captain. If they stick with having a leadership team, or whatever it's called, at least James Tavarnier is a proper skipper.
Is Tavarnier a Rb or are Wolves going to keep sticking to the dreadful soul sucking five at the back?
29 Apr 2026 17:50:01
Jesus wept, I keep adding words when typing on my phone. Meant to say, play JT at right back, with the intention of bringing Lima into the team more and more. I assume Wolves want to keep Hugo Bueno as the main left back, with Toti able to cover.
29 Apr 2026 19:26:37
Not going to happen. The report states that Wolves are 'considering' Tavernier. They may well consider, but because he has actual experience, they will decide that he doesn't fit the up and coming player they now want to sign.
29 Apr 2026 20:08:19
We've been down that road before, not sure. I want to see us with stop gap players again.
28 Apr 2026 13:45:07
Notts Forest interested in Munesti as VP likes him, reports are saying, but Munesti likes Paris FC.
28 Apr 2026 15:23:39
We just need someone to become interested in Toti, Hwang and Hoever.
28 Apr 2026 15:46:52
Goodwhileitlasted, Hoever's contract is finished, free agent at end of season. As for Toti, I think 2 years left. Hwang, 1 year left, could both leave.
28 Apr 2026 16:34:11
Fingers crossed Edwards goes with them.
29 Apr 2026 07:14:48
I've seen that, DMac, but it could well be that some mischievous person is on a wind up, and it's escalated. After all, the Internet abounds with people ribbing Forest fans who praise Pereira with comments like, "wait until he signs Munetsi!" Hopefully it's not April 1st and it goes ahead. 30p should seal the deal.
29 Apr 2026 09:41:26
Let's hope it's true, and hopefully he will come back for Jackson and Tolu.
29 Apr 2026 10:59:41
I'm still hopeful VP goes all out for Toti. He did make him the Captain, so he must like him. Here's hoping.
27 Apr 2026 15:28:31
Inter and Everton are interested in R.Gomes.
27 Apr 2026 16:30:42
Choices, choices, choices. Should he opt to play Champions League football, or choose to play for an ambitious Premier League club which is run well, or should he stay and play for a club in chaos and run by idiots in the Championship?
27 Apr 2026 13:25:09
Supposedly 4 clubs interested in Santi: Leeds, Brentford, CP and WH hope for bidding war over 40mill, but will Wolves invest it in the squad.
27 Apr 2026 15:25:17
They'll sell him for £15m.
